They said on the show, after the final rose, that they watched it backstage, deanna, jesse, jason and all the parents so i believe that jasons family was probably backstage there also and found out at the same time, and i'm sure that they helped jason by being there. sorry jason, i was pulling for you. and you ladies of much love, you are a little rude.
