@jAlvesrz Think you'll find thats the stardard blizzard UI frames, as they made them moveable in 4.3 patch I think. Don't use them myself, but saw it in the patch notes.

@CitadelRunner He is using Grid for his raid frames, but the standard blizzard frames for his player ones I wold think as you can move them now. However, not sure what your issue is with Pitball, as I use those and I get a frame when I target anything in DW fight as with any including, arms, tenticles and his head at the end. Maybe you using out of data version??

Going back in to work on this guy tonight wondering if anyone has first hand experience killing blistering tentacles in 10-man. I did it once in 25-man and we kept alex up till last, but I think that we need kalecgos for his dmg buff and for the bloods to burn them in time, so I was going to do alex 2nd and end up burning blisterings on two platforms. Is this easy or does it make healing nearly impossible? We are 2 healing it.

@Excpired My group does 1 tank and 2 healers, and we usually go red, yellow, green, and then blue. It's really easy to kill the tentacles and heal through it, you just have to make sure you single-target them.

if you want to see a really good guide for 10 man normal mode that is updated for the live servers, search madness of deathwing fatboss guide, also I would suggest using the order of platforms Green Yellow Red Blue, the last 2 platforms are the trickiest but after enough practice it becomes very easy and second nature. All you need is the dps to take deathwing down before he casts cataclysm and you should be set.

@finalfatasyfreak49 the lich king had many many years of anticipation to kill him. We knew in burning crusade we would have to kill the lich king after illidan with the wrath expansion going on for nearly 2 years when we finally got to the buildup was awesome. deathwing was from warcraft 2 not everyone knew who he was and he was only revealed in the cata expansion. not as much buildup so yes obviously this would happen

For 10man:

I would recomend using 1 tank, 2 healers and 7 DPS. Execution order should be Green -> Red -> Yellow -> Blue. If your DPS is decent you will be able to kill Mutated Corruption before Elementium Bolt spawns. Your tank will also get hit by only 1 impale = saving alot of healing + mana. The only hard platform is #4. DPS should use pots and cooldowns to burn down the tentacle before Elementium Bolt Spawns. Move away from the impact point and use some spells that reduces raid damage taken.

@Milkmee I would suggest a slightly different strategy if you have a not so uber makeup. 1 tank, 3 healers, 6 dps. The order everyone on our server (demon soul) used was Green Yellow Red Blue. This works very well just use the above strategy but we find this to be much easier

The issue my guild is having is killing the bloods on alexstrazas platform. We do her platform last. Any idea what to do?

@Milinthrak Our guild decided to tank the adds on alexstraza's, dps ignored them and killed arm.

We tanked the adds all the while the dps was on the deathwings arm AFTER the tentacle at the back was dead.

2 tanks took turns tanking the adds, when the stacks got out of control the tank was BoP'd, then the other tank took over (waited until stacks dropped off on first tank). Rinse and repeat until arm is dead (buffs are back, move to yseras, kill bloods). Then do phase 2 as normal.

@yelnilapple Everything is a enemy, there are no decrotive adds or tenticles.

There is the very large tenticle, Deathwings "arm" that doesnt move in the front of every platform.

There is a bright orange tenticle in the back, this needs to be tanked.

Periodically several small orange ones will spawn attatched to deathwings arm. They are immune to AoE.

There are orange oozlings that spawn.

Elementium bolt..Basically a flying diamond shapped rock.

And anything that moves on p2.

@GuyN0ir Of course there will be 10 man guides! We only had so much time to prepare these before the patch and we didn't have footage of every fight on 10 man. Because of this we opted to completely cover 25 man where we did have footage instead of covering 10 and 25 both half-assed. We will of course be covering them on 10 as well. (Hopefully very quickly so we can roll out our heroic guides sooner.)

But... you guys did Ysera, Kalecgos, Alexstraza, then Nozdormu... Was that for a particular reason? I understand being able to kill the bolt before landing is quite helpful to the healers, but all the reasons you gave in the video for leaving Kalec or Alex up last seemed to be ignored in the execution video. Was this video just an earlier kill where you were experimenting?

@ToxicPopsicle Oddly enough, we took the time on the Public Test Realm to test different orders. The order we execute in the video is not the one we recommended, it was simply our cleanest kill. (As noted by the fact that only I died...) Because of the order we chose, we barely beat out the fourth cataclysm in this video and could have easily wiped at that point.
