That's right, the Cojuancos(owners) were the one who bought the land, but who are the one who struggles and work so hard in hacienda? Of course that are the farmers and workers. They do that for the lives of their family. They do all the hardships (dugo at pawis)!! And in the first place, it was already agreed that the workers and farmers has a right for the land, but after a few years later, the owner didn't want to give what is really for them. LIAR! And that's what they are fighting for!!

HACIENDA LUISITA REALLY BELONGS TO THE FARMERS...that land was only under the temporary ownership of the Cojuangcos for 10 years. Now, its over 30 years already, they have to surrender the land back to the farmers as stated in their signed contract between the Rep. of the Phils...and also to all the banks where the Cojuangcos borrowed their money.
