yea i did play i used a apocalypse class battleship ehh thought is true if there was a way for fleets to stay in formetion as deteachments from the fleet as squad leaders and what not there would be more easy to get stratigical plans out cuz all that everyone does is aim for the biggest shit and fire

man eve fleet battles always look like such a mess they realy should add fleet formation so it would look more realistic and much more fun and add a even greater element of strategy to the mix

@blackwolf6733 Not sure if you've ever played the game before, but it would be very difficult to implement a fleet formation system. If CCP did, it would be purely for when the fleet comes out of warp, because during the battle it's so free-form that any pilot can fly wherever they want and keeping to a formation would be difficult and unhelpful.

Also this was my old alliance defending F9 - so proud. :)

Just watch some real battles. In the begining there are plans and strategies, in the and there is a mess where the bigger army with the better guns will be the one that wins the day.

i wasi n a huge cap fleet batte like this one day teamspeak was crazy people calling out diffrent stuff. fight lasted for about 1h 30m i was in the support fleet in a tempest i was lucky to live and we won. 8)

Yes there was a LOT of lag. Most people were experiencing between 1 - 2 minutes module lag.

This fight was amazing. Started off with about 30 ED/IRC battle ships poping in and out on the cynojammer POS engaging the 100+ RA sniper battle ships. Then RA brought in the dreads, did absoluty nothing, and got rid of them. The RA battle ship gang moved to the Jumpbridge POS about an hour later and started shooting it. They brought the dreads and some carriers back. ED/IRC dropped their dreads and assembled all their fleet and the fight went on. :)
