  • STUPID PLANTATION OVERSEER MENTALITY you carry around you like a BAD SMELL .. it smells of stupid ... however as LONG AS YOU CONTINUE TO GO AROUND IN YOUR DIFFERENT DISGUISES TO INSULT AFRICANS i will continue to hand your ass back to you . bring it no matter how you try to disguise yourself .. you cant change the tune you play ..

  • Epa, Orisa!! Africans need to know the religion of their ancestors. It will heal so much of what is wrong in our communities today.

  • fela is right about artificial religion...being black african (or descendant) and to be muslim and christian you have allowed yourself to ignore certain things about your history in order to hold on to your faith...and everyone has a right to believe what they want

but to truly appreciate who you are as an african (and this goes for anyone who have been colonized/enslaved by europeans and muslims) you look to your roots, and then you'll have more insight to your identity.

  • This guy is heavily demonized

  • GREAT

  • 3:05 you realize the narrator compare our traditional region to a cult, this Caucasian will never get it, that they can't no longer enslave us with their views THUMPS UP TO SHARE THIS INFORMATION

  • @soragirl6 That's ARMY ARRANGEMENT.

  • burn your books and get back to the roots and feel good. Thats the essence of life , to smile as you walk

  • belive oh baba fela 100 percent i know exactly wat you mean and i appreciate his time and my days in the shrine jah bless baba

  • @soragirl6 BUT THAT ISNT A REFLECTION OF RELIGION PACIFICALLY ISLAM NO BUDDY ITS A REFLECTION OF THE TIMES YOU SEE EVEN YOUR SO CALL FREE RELIGIONS PAGAN ANIMALISTIC RELIGIONS HAVE BAD PEOPLE TO BUT YET ONLY MONOTHEISTIC RELIGIONS ARE BEING TARGETED BECAUSE WE ARE THE TRUE HOPE OF HUMANITY CAN YOU IMAGINE IF WE WHERE ALL PAGANS LIKE THE ROMANS AND GREEKS AND EGYPTIANS AND MAYANS SACRIFICES OF CHILDREN RAPE HOMOSEXUALITY DRUGS ALCOHOL LOL THINGS THAT PEOPLE CONSIDER FUN ITS FILTH AND IGNORANT

  • I LOOOOOOVE Fela but I don't agree with what he said, if only he could have been saved before he died, I am a christian and I definitely do not think like a European or an American because last time I checked, Jesus was not American or European, in fact, the first place mentioned in the Bible is in Africa, 'Cush' where Abraham came from which is present day Ethiopia =)

  • Christianity and Islam are artificial religions LOL fela is actually fucking crazy no doubt his music is amazing but if Islam is artificial then why the fuck are you praising and worshiping Malcolm x a MUSLIM CRAZY FUCK HE WAS

  • @wutez Fela did not worship Malcolm X but regarded him as a kind of Saint in the struggle of African people against oppression and apartheid. Just because he believed Africans should identify with their own rich history, did not prevent him from seeing the value of other revolutionaries, like Martin Luther King who happened to be, Christian, Muslim or whatever. It's good to look beyond the superficial and feel the message that Fela was trying to express on a deeper level.

  • 1:16 - 1:53 The golden gem. RESPECT DUE!

  • He's a philosopher!

  • Does anyone know the name of the song at 3:40? I would really appreciate it.

  • @SoulAce777 That's the opening of "POWER SHOW"

  • Intresting, Malcolm x

  • those naija body guards will get that pope shot...lol

  • lol

  • God is the only Religion which is Human Nature..

  • christianity and islam are artificial religions

  • Very interesting at 2:43, Fela praising orishas Ogun and Shango along with Malcom X and Martin Luther King ... Fela Genius!!! African Cultural heritage leaves on in Latin America, where these orishas are still loved and praised. Specially in Brazil and Cuba. Amazing exchange!

  • @personaltourguide

for sure in my tiny latino caribbean island, Trinidad it was these free Africans, mostly Yoruba who arrived after abolition whose Orisha way of life led them to be so successfull that even today everyone and I do mean everyone including Hindi, Muslims, Christian come to them for readings to help them Know Thyself.

    Marefun Shango!

  • @personaltourguide Wow that makes sense.

    Shango=Martin Luther (((King))) jr.

Ogun=Malcolm X, who advocated any means necessary (i.e. armed resistence) Ogun is the God of war

And they were at odds with each other. Just like the 2 Orishas.

    Genius.

  • @negramento

I feel Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. resonates most with Obatalá...Who knows?

  • @negramento

However, it may have been best to honor Orishas of 'force,' because any civil rights movement or leader will have to face a struggle......

  • @personaltourguide Ogun & Shango is a yoruba thing. I respect Brazilian/Cuban Yoruba that have held on to their Nigerian traditions.

  • @IfImBeingHonest noir american you have been busy !!! lolol you are a sad lost soul looking for an identity but you cant find it here sorry .

  • @IfImBeingHonest but after you spent a lot of time insulting us on before of your fon wife "culture" you have no realised we are something else.. that is a good thing, lol you have been FORCED to acknowledge that your rather simplistic utterances about "WE AA ARE GOING TO REPLACE AFRICAN ELITES WITH A MIXTURE OF AA/AFRICAN ELITES" are nothing more than the ramblings of a young man with DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR .. NOIR AMERICAN you can NEVER REPLACE US . but you can join us WHEN YOU GET RID OF THE

  • it is Nkrumah

in 1957 he pushed english people out of his country to make the republic of Ghana.

  • What is the name mentioned between Malcolm X and Fela's mother. It is the name of an African independence hero, but I could not make it out.

  • his name is kwame nkrumah. He led his country to indepedence and ensure other african countries gained independence
