@mrvitorvieira Its not so complicated at all. Rivaldo was forced to depart at Barcelona whilst being in his prime years. Bergkamp, even at the age of 40, is stil capable of making Messi look like a kid.

He wanted to go to Milan and asked Barcelona to release him, he was granted that wish and was released on a free transfer a very bad deal for Barcelona as they had depts sky high. He was at that time 32-33 and wanted to play for the biggest club in italy. Get your facts right. Other than that i agree Bergkamp was a genius. Messi and Rivaldo are special players as well, but there was something about Bergkamp nobody like him!

Why do fans of a certain wonderful player have to talk absolute rubbish about fans of a certain other player? I recommend you to watch the semis of the World Cup 1998. There you see Rivaldo facing Bergkamp. Tell me if you even realize Bergkamp is on the pitch. Until the penalty shootout, he is not even present for 120 minutes. Rivaldo on the other hand is terrorizing the Dutch and is probably Brazil's best player (in either WC he played in). He was a genius.

He was a great player indeed, but not as great as RIVALDO! It's a shame that Dennis, a truly marvellous player as he was, never won WC nor CL ( which Rivaldo did ), and he didn't even get a chance to play in CL final, even though he could have done much better than Flaminy had he been given the chance... :) :) :) ( ovaj komentar je specijalno za tebe, Perk :) )

@nikolasthethief Rivaldo was a genius, But, Bergkamp was a cut above. Technically better, a better one on one finisher. And not a diving cheat. Don't get me wrong Rivaldo is ONE of the greats of the past 25 years, Bergkamp comes in the top 3, though.
