  • Happy Birthday George, we love you<3

  • George was a true seeker and a visionary. I pray and hope he found what he was looking for. The same curse (cancer) that stole George away from us also took away the Darling of My Life -- My Heavenly-Resplendent Wife -- My Lady Barbra Rose. Life, Light, and Joy to all.

  • we didnt have a stereo but we had a turntable and a huge mono system my dad used for jazz and we would shake the entire block when we blew those babies up and listened to this beautiful music :).

  • Seek a higher purpose. Challenge yourself. Only we can save ourselves. You don't have to be wasted, or a rock star or a genius to understand this simple concept.

  • Im faded, this song is a triiip ! ~~~~~~~~~~

  • Wonderful to meld Indian and rock together, wish there was more of this.

  • 19 days 'till George's birthday :D

  • George Harrison is flawless.

  • They were on drugs, man.

  • @vajrapiper They had to be high all the time. They even let Ringo sing couple of tunes :D

  • Very British not to give credit to the Indian musicians.

  • when i hear a sitar i think of AnToN NewCoMb BJM !

  • In other life, George Harrison was Indian.

  • omg ! im high Jk

  • Who Ever Disliked this gets a very strong powerful thrown from me !!!

  • Last night was my first time taking a tab, my friend and I both sat in his room with the lights off and christmas tree lights everywhere, a colorful disco ball and listening to real music such as this, or Ultimate Spinach (my favorite) :) probably the best trip i've ever had.

  • Fucking weird hippies. Whatever happened to Ragtime?!

  • Life flowS on within you anD with out you..

  • @leafninja247... It's funny, but I feel exactly that same sentiment for many years. Some of the Beatles music IS like a drug. Lyrically, I always thought this was the best song on "Pepper." Very perceptive post on your part.

  • @avdreader1 Well thank you :D

  • Credit to The Beatles for the Beatles music. fail annotation at the beginning

  • I love the sitar....so good

  • This song is not about drugs, it is about conciousness...

  • My favorite Beatles track. Eternal thanks, George

  • Same here@Mermaid6996

  • :(( big true

  • @mahavishnuxc Yeah, you're right. Some of their songs were probably about drugs, but not all of them. I'm mostly saying that that's not what they were all about. They weren't the kind of band who'd encourage you purposely to do drugs and stuff. But, I do know quite a bit about The Beatles.

  • We were talking.... Love, peace and flow....

  • Thank you George! RIPeace

  • woaw

  • i remember a trippy ass night wile on MDA this song came on the radio and i had the most vivid closed eye hallucinations was so calming.

  • this song speaks to you. i love it.

  • Shut up about being stoned. That's not what any of Lennon's or The Beatles' songs are even about.

  • @AncientBlitzkrieg Wow.... you obviously dont know anything about The Beatles.

    1. "Got to get you into my life" - about Marijuana

    2. "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds - LSD

    3. Day Tripper - LSD

    4. Tomorrow Never Knows - Inspired by one of many vivid LSD experiences of Lennon

    5. Cold Turkey - John Lennon quitting heroin. (Not a Beatles song)

There's a lot more, but look it up. The Beatles smoked marijuana, took LSD, and partied. it's nothing new.

  • @mahavishnuxc Got to get you into my life isn't about marijuana, it's about Paul wanting to try LSD. Also, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds isn't about LSD, it's about a drawing that John's son, Julian, drew about a girl in his class.

  • @vh1035 Paul said himself Lucy was in fact LSD. Lennon was inspired by the picture but it was really an LSD trip.

Paul again confirmed got to get you was pot

  • @vh1035 In a 2004 interview, Paul McCartney said that the song is about LSD, stating:

"A song like 'Got to Get You Into My Life,' that's directly about pot, although everyone missed it at the time." "Day Tripper," he says, "that's one about acid. 'Lucy in the Sky,' that's pretty obvious. There's others that make subtle hints about drugs, but, you know, it's easy to overestimate the influence of drugs on the Beatles' music."

  • @mahavishnuxc you don't know much about the Beatles yourself then :p Lucy in the Sky has no connection to LSD

  • @EnokiF Then, you obviously know less than you think. For God sakes man, Paul has confirmed Lucy is about LSD a multitude of times in interviews.

  • @mahavishnuxc okay

  • What's with the creepy high laughter at the end?

  • Seriously....who needs drugs when you have this?

  • @leafninja247 they took drugs to make this.

  • @leafninja247 We can use both in the same time :)

  • @DianaLatina16 i just did a few days ago. My mind was blown and i'm still recovering looool

  • @BlackPhoenix623 is the best thing, get high and listen the beatles :D

  • Comment removed

  • @leafninja247 How about drugs and this? Just saying, maybe...DMT? :P

  • @leafninja247 combine the two and you get something incredible.

  • @leafninja247 Why not have drugs AND this? Truly an amazing experience.

  • @leafninja247 Use the following drugs: marijuana, mushrooms, and LSD. I was like you for my entire high school life and missed out on too much. After a month of smoking pot and using shrooms once, I've found my life and am now the happiest person on earth. Use in moderation, use to become productive and not lazy, but do use. I promise you'll gain an even better understanding of this music if you do. Trust me, I know you have no reason or pretext to, but I only speak from experience.

  • @theatlantisrise It's ok, I dont need drugs in life :)

  • @leafninja247 You'll thank me five years from now.

  • @theatlantisrise I insist, I'm good :P xD

  • @leafninja247 this + drugs = the awesomeness of this x10

  • @leafninja247 Why not have both? *Takes LSD*

  • @leafninja247 The Beatles are my drug! they spend all this time in school saying don't do drugs, the Beatles should be included "Remember, children, The Beatles are bad for you." They make me think on such a deeper level.

  • @leafninja247 I get ya, but if you listen to this song stoned it's even more mind blowing than it already is

  • @leafninja247 Like the other guy said these songs are meant to listen to when your high as fuck...

  • I love the way that a song as trippy as this is followed by 'When I'm 64' on the album... xD

  • I want a sitar.

  • i feel you

  • @SuperBspb me to!

  • @SuperBspb My friend just got one :D it only cost him like 300 dollars

  • stoned on good vibes and rhythms

  • sorry for my comments , I was just to high ahahah

  • This song is awesome. I remember listening to this one weekend and I felt so mellow.

  • @supohoesmorthnles HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE LAXMI BRIDGE to give crusts to big fishies! can i come with????? i wanna find the yellow fishy and feed it a well cooked salmon with crusts @_@ im kinda high right now...

  • When I heard this song , I realised I did not want to become one of "them" in illusion, working for a nasty corporation , selling my soul to the brain dead governmnent, addicted to their scams..I started to chant the Hare Krsna mantra as George did a lot and experienced a transformation in my consciousness. I was able to give up all drugs alcohol, tobacco , became a vegetarian , shaved my head and joined the Hare Krishna movement to become a monk and disciple of George's guru, Srila Prabhupada.

  • @Gauraonline You did all that after hearing this song?! Holy shit! The most influential band in the world.

  • @Gauraonline you actually fell right into the Gov's trap, mind control through music. Look it up dude no offense or nothing, especially with The Beatles

  • @maestrostring00 suck balls asshole...forever and within...

  • i want to belly dance to this song :)

  • george harrison had the right idea, just live your life! don't waste your life worrying about somebody else' idea about what happens after you die, as long as your at peace with yourself when it happens, it won't matter.

  • HOLY S!!!!!!! JOHN PLAYS THE SAME INSTRUMENT I PLAYED WHILE IN BAND CLASS! I JUST NOTICED THAT NOW!!!!!!

  • A new Look at George see HBO documentry what a Spirt

  • Stare at the picture, it changes clarity every 3 seconds :|

  • @D4nnibal It's to freak out all the 60-year old stoners who have no idea what the internet is.

  • @otterj6 That is mildy demoralizing. But still funny. XD

  • too be honest i really dislike this song im a huge beatles fan and this is my fav album but this song is like a blemish on it to my im really sorry but i just dont know

  • 10 people hide themselves behind a wall of delusion .....

  • @jsbruzina Doesn't everyone?

  • @jsbruzina Probably they're deluded into thinking that Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga are real music ♥♥

  • Im so faded and the Sitar really ties the room together!

  • ... Excuse me, I'm sorry, but can we have a whack at that replay button?

This needs to be listened to forever.

  • I feel all tingly inside

  • 9 people were too high and missed the like button.

  • I WAS enlightened by this song and found life through this song's power. My life before I heard this song was full of anger and hate towards just about everything

  • 9 people don't know what the best song/greatest writer in the world is! BEST SONG EVER WRITTEN. I love the beatles!

  • 9 people think different to the rest of us

  • @ramv1243 i think it's totaly fine ppl dont have the same views as uss. we were talking and we cant force ppl to change their views. we can only work towards peace as i will when i come of age. and hopefully i wont pass violently, like those before me.

  • 9 persone non capiscono un cazzo... di un cazzo!!

  • these drums awaken my tribal instincts and cause me to sway in circles...with our love, we can save the world...if they only knew!

  • @skateinpeace69 mi love helps the world i have tons of love, love. i know that love is nessesary to save ppl and the world cos if everyones fighting then eventually they'll just break the world into shambles wont they, loove?

  • i have actually heard a lot of indian songs like this except wtih indian words. i was so surprised when my art teacher played this and found out it was the beatles. i was wondering how in the world he would be listening to that! (im indian) =)

  • @nishey94 cooool i wanna go to indian badly! is it luvely? i wanna go there, get a sitar and learn to play it!

  • @KobeConfidence =).... ya the sitar is very pretty and i like it in india, but many people don't so...... i dont know how you think. If you like hot places with nieghbors always in your business, lots of cars and sounds and honking, sunsets, all sorts of smells (both really good and really bad),. small firecrackers going off someones b-day it is quite fun,i feel much more free and lively in india but sadly i only get to visit every 3-4 years.

  • @nishey94 oh wow india sounds luvely. i will have to go there for transitual meditation like the beatles

  • good song to start an lsd trip

  • 1967!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i cant believe they did this in 1967!!!!!!!!!!!!!this is the greatness of beatles...in only 8 yeas(1962-70) they changed and experimented new music as noone in future will do.......best band ever

  • @dani86xela they started officially as the Beatles in 1960, and they were playing with each other in various forms and arrangements for about six years before that.

  • YOU GUYS PLEASE THUMBS UP!!! I NEED ATTENTION!! Not really though...

  • a song that makes me wish i was high

  • This song should be featured on Sitar Hero. Very relaxing

  • This song just made me stop thinking and relax.

  • Being a beatles fan for most of my life, it took me a while to become acquainted with George's songs. Glad i did though, his Beatles work was greatly under-appreciated, and All Things Must Pass is one of my favorite albums.

  • if you didn't live in that time;you cant feel it; so listen to your stuff and maybe some day you will go back and say what i say not.

  • BEATLES MUSIC IS FOR SHITHEADS,FAGGOTS AND FUCKED UP WHITE WOMEN.

  • @rigoberto565 Troll harder

  • @PSPaperstacks Pls dont trolling here!

    This is beatles!

  • thats why the beatles are the best sell band ever fuck-tard

  • @rigoberto565 C'mon, you can do better then that...

  • @rigoberto565 Well I guess there are alot of Shitheads, Faggots, and Fucked Up White Women in this world aren't there. Thumbs Up if you're a Shithead, Faggot, or Fucked Up White Woman and are proud of it.

  • @rigoberto565 im going to tell your mom that you are writing shit on the internet, go and study hard, you need it.

  • This song was one of the best in Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

  • close your eyes and relax to real music RIP George Harrison

  • John n' George wanted the world to be as one, where to begin though?

  • @AaronBuzzer Begin with yourself. :)

  • @jenniferjuniper97 a rock group in Spain told me to quit thinking about this world, cuz i covered dylan's desolation row changing some words. that's when i realised more about our world. they awoke me somehow=))

  • @AaronBuzzer Interesting. I too have applied different lyrics to Desolation Row. A classic song.

  • @jenniferjuniper97 really? me i was saying i was all alone instead of lady and i, i wasn't lonely, just a little isolated. what words did you change?:)

  • It seems to me that message in this song is more Buddhist than Hindu.

But what do i know. Im a Roman Catholic.

  • @polycarpx buddhism arose from Hiduism :)

  • i'm not a hindu fanatic but i can say with pride that the mahabharatha, ramayana, the bhagavad gita n so many more epics written by holy men of ages past are more than just epics.. I consider it man's greatest gift to the so-called God or jus whoevr it is tat created us... They are ahead of their time.. Even now..

  • @chocolatefrogs1992 I have never read a greater hightened sense of what this song really transends. To hear this song and feel and hear the Beatles being ahead of their time epitimizing a great sense of spirituality even now in todays world is uncommon. Great comment.

  • itsbridget, i dunno if u can see dis comment.. But i really have no words to show how grateful i am to you for making the better part of my day feel so damn beautiful.. Though i'm not as obsessed bout the beatles as u are, i can definitely connect wid wat you're sayin.. I've had tat feelin so many times..

  • :)

  • HARI KRISHNA!!

  • @theskyeking Man, you should have seen them kicking Edgar Allen Poe.

  • this song inspires me to wanna play the satar

  • @geishagirl1o1 i have a strange urge to go to india and play sitar. and yes @TheBeatlesfan28 i hate autotune sooo much it makes me hate life then i hear the beatles and i go into a trance of love and peace and colors.

  • Wow real music I hate that autotuned shit

  • I feel at peace :)

  • why are there people laughing at the end of the song? it seems weird.

  • @rigoberto565 Fuck off people don't need your nonsense on youtube.

  • @rigoberto565 Hope you're only a trll.

  • L'Album de ma jeunesse ,que j'ai usé ,usé ,à force de l'écouter ! un Monument !

  • it makes me fly.....

  • un très beau temps musicale de john lennon

  • What is most impressive, George Harrison wrote this when he was around 24. Think about all the 20 year olds you know, and then think of this song.

  • @otterj6 So true. Harrison was, in many ways, a full-blown genius! Rest in peace...

  • @otterj6 nicely said ...

  • @otterj6 you're right about that, george is the beatle who really change the most

  • @otterj6 most impressive insight Jedi.

  • @otterj6 its all the joints, i bet

  • @otterj6 Dude, I feel exactly the same way. I'm 28, and it's only now that I'm starting to realize this. These guy's were making the most influential music maybe of all time in they're early twenty's! Nobody, at least in my lifetime, will do anything like it.

  • @otterj6 Good point. I was a good lyricist by the age of 17, but not at writing music. To do both, is great.
