  • i thought i remembered more then i did about this show. its so weird but funny

  • Go to amazon. They have it on VHS...

  • I miss this show! I wish it would come back on TV or get a DVD release. Would be great of BOOM or The HUB would bring it back.

  • @TokyoACR Theres a petition to get them on dvd on the internet tried to share it on here but can't

  • NO

  • I LOVE THIS MOVIE ALOTS

  • The judge sounds like Tales from the Kryptkeeper xD

  • Nostalgia Critic said it best when he did the top 11 mindfuck moments this shows theme song in at # 6. He said "If Tim Burton never did acid I'd hate to see what happens if he ever did".

  • this cartoon has some great music

  • @arcanineryu well, it's Danny Elfman no less

  • this cartoon has some great background music

  • 1:25-1:41 The guy laughing hysterically in the jury! XD There's a Beetlejuice fan in the audience!

  • BRING BACK BEETLEJUICE!!!!!!!!!!

  • I remember watching this show when I was 8 years old it was the best but not as good as ryan and stimpy oh and tales from the crypt was good too. Did you know that the crypt keeper is a muppet...!!

  • 4:33 lucky

  • i do

  • LHH @ 5:54 to 5:58......TOO FUNNY!

Dumb Sandworm knocked its ownself out by bumping under the Judge's stand by the huge baby.

  • lol a new pair of pants

  • How old is Lydia supposed to be in this?

  • The reason they took most of the shows like this off is because it didn't teach anything so what? It taught me good shows don't have to teach you anything. It just needs to be dark and funny to make me happy. Not like the Twilight Saga =_= *shoots Edward and Jacob and laughs while Bella cries* Its so dark it's boring. I'd rather watch a show like this. My mind is similar to Tim Burton's, If I just decide to make something dark.

  • @ChrisSmithVideosTV Just becase it wasn't educatoinal doesnt mean they had to take it off. there were plenty of othe shows that were why couldn't they just let the kids and kids at heart a show that is purely entertainment. besides it shows that friends are supppose to stick to gether not matter what and never abandon them and that is something to teach a kid.

  • Thanks for finding this

  • I know quality tv when I see it. And this is very much so. The shows they put on tv now are so stupid and rediculus.

  • wow i did a top 10 fav cartoons as a kid video and for some stupid reason i left this out i loved this show as a kid finally got the movie on dvd and it had 3 eps good times

  • Tim Burton made this show?! I never knew that!!

  • @NirvanaIsMyLife96 Well, the design makes sense to me now, lol, I wish he could a stop motion version of this as a new movie.

  • beetlemania haha beatles joke xD

  • man i forgot how funny this show was~! why dont they make cartoons like this anymore?!?

  • Lol cute

  • Ima litterly mean wat I say frm now on

  • I miss cartoons like this. *Sighs*

  • hahahaha beetlemania

  • beetlemania xD it was bigger than jesus u know ;-)

  • It's crazy but one of my favorite characters in the beetlejuice cartoon was....the SANDWORM! LOL!

  • Lydia's character bio for the cartoon is "almost 13", she herself says she's in 7 grade--making her 13 at eldest--in the second episode, and since the movie predates the cartoon by a year and the cartoon alludes to it ("You see, I met Lydia one year ago tomorrow and she says it's our anniversary" [double-meaning, given their friendship and their "marriage" in the movie, which was never really resolved, since the ring was never removed from Lydia's finger]), there you go then.

  • Does this cartoon and the beetlejuice movies appeal mostly to goths and emos?It sure looks gothic.

  • @ihateniggers98100 Are you kidding? My family has some friends who are fifty plus years old and they LOVE "Beetlejuice" to death! They're the furthest thing from goth/emo, and they adore the movie. They didn't know there was a cartoon, but they said they wanted to see it sometime!!

  • @WishfulThinkingArt But lots of gothic and emo girls and boys at my school love both the movie and cartoon of beetlejuice.

  • @ihateniggers98100 Well, I guess they just like it for their dark undertones, and also the fact that they're both so funny!! I mean, of course Tim Burton's movies have cult followings of dark and emo people, but that's just because of how the films look. I like Tim Burton's films because they can make you smile, and because they have those surreal, dark themes. But I'm not exactly goth or emo :-/

  • now that i'm older...BJ kinda reminds me of a pedophile.. he's like 50 something looking and she's around highschool age...

  • @PhoenixMadde not even she's supposed to be like 14 XD so jr high

  • I still love this so many years later!!!

  • Its been at least 15 years sence I last saw this as a kid back in the '90s. I get the jokes now!

  • i wish i had beetlejuice's power

  • Man, I would have totaly given BJ a kiss, even if his teeth DO have beetles in em'! XD

  • @SerasVictoria101 I KNOW!! He may be disgusting and foul, but he's the best ghost ever!

  • Comment removed

  • @SerasVictoria101 well, you know what they say: it's better to give BJ a kiss then to give the Kiss a BJ.

  • @SerasVictoria101 ok just dont shorten his name people might mistake it for........ something else

  • lol pair of pants XD

  • I KNEW IT. The theme music HAD to be by Danny Elfman.

  • 3:34 - 3:48 bad ass BJ

  • LoL, "You hang around Beetlejuice... ON PURPOSE?!?"

  • aww 7:13

  • ending is adorable <3

    :3

  • fuck i forgot how wierd this shit is lol

  • love the music

  • I loved this show when I was little & still do today! This brings back great memories. Thanks for uploading. I'm 24 now & I used to watch this all the time when I was younger.

  • 7:17 That's what she said.

  • Damn I'm so happy my Girlfriend's name is Lydia ///_^ and yes, she IS an awesome girlfriend.

  • If the "neitherworld" is like Disgaea, shouldn't the monsters be more tolerant with chaos and destruction within their domain?

  • Ah, nostalgia. I remember watching this all the time. It was the only show that my older brother would watch with me. Good times.

  • why is Little Arlo sometimes wearing a bow-tie and other times not? and for that matter, why isn't he wearing any clothes?!

  • @DollHeadProductions

Cause in the 90s they had the horrible habit of drawing babies that didn't wear anything but diapers, i'm gald they drew baby BJ with stripped pajamas instead of drawing him with striped... diapers.

as for Arlo's bowtie, i dunno, animation mistake perhaps?

  • @ImpmonX ahh, I love the 90's! ^_^

  • @DollHeadProductions

I'm glad you love your childhood, ah well... i'm fine and glad how 2011 is going.

  • @DollHeadProductions this is the 80's

  • Wow, it'd be hilarious watching someone not fluent in English watch this show. They'd get so lost in all the wordplay! LOL!

  • Hmm.. I'm not quite sure what to make of this. Its completley different compared to the movie, but if you don't pt the movie into the equation (which is hard) It's pretty fucking awesome. Ive only watched the first episode and Im all for Lydia and Beetlejuice XDD

  • You can definitely see Tim Burton's influence in the scenery of this show, especially in locations like the court room in this episode!

  • LOL! markus had this entire series on take so we watch it together alot lol. now him anmdi r dating and we still watch it :D

  • i don't like how they gave the sand-worms faces or colors.

  • I do not remember this from my childhood, but I think it looks good. Now I have to look the other episodes.

  • its official beetlejuice is now my fave american cartoon

  • are they married or are they friends?

  • @mohrbr friends

  • @mohrbr psshh there bffs! :U

  • @knucklesXrouge2256 but they "got married" in the end of the movie and they are celebrating their anniversary. i guess it has a double meaning

  • @mohrbr friends that wedding would never hold up as official since in the movie Beetlejuice answered for Lydia. Also he got eaten before it could be concluded so since it wasn't officially concluded they weren't married.

  • @blondrose84 that great maybe i can help if i dont screw up all the time

  • this would be so cool if it was all in live action. :) with the org cast from the movie <3

  • One of the best cartoons ever. Intro/outro song is amazing.

  • Anybody else think the judge looks like a Necron from Warhammer 40k?

  • Wait... I don't get this...I thought Lydia DIDN'T marry Beetlejuice and that she HATED him and was DISGUSTED by him in the movie? Did I get something wrong, or did they just edit a few major flaws to make a cartoon? Overall though, I actually do kinda like this, better than todays cartoons for sure!

  • @dragonholder411 Well, I suggest checking out beetlejiuce tvtropes.org page. They indeed made it all suitable for a cartoon.

  • @dragonholder411 The cartoon wouldn't be any fun, if Beetlejuice and Lydia wasn't friends, and the movie wouldn't be any fun if they were friends. Honestly I prefer the Cartoon. Beetlejuice's role in the movie is too small.

  • @LadyDoomsinger Good point. I do like the cartoon better than the movie, he was just to much of a jerk in it and you made no connection with him whatsoever, but you can make a connection with him in this. Lol, I like how they both have the same eyes. XD

  • @dragonholder411 idk. she wasn't that put off by him. actually, out of everybody, she seemed to get along with him better then anyone. AND she did make a DEAL with him. and as Fry says from Futurama "A deal's a deal, even with a dirty dealer"

  • @blondrose84 Good point... :)

  • never lost a case lol

  • OMG thanks so much for putting this up! I've loved Beetlejuice since forever! :D

  • 7:06

I saw wut u did dar

  • I loved the pun names for certain people on this show :D

Mayor Maynot (May Or May Not)

    Judge Mental (Judgemental)

    Ms. Shapen (Misshapen)

  • "That'll get the wax outta your ears."

    Hahaha! Love it xD

  • "I don't believe it"

    "Neither do I!"

    hahaha

  • Thanks for upload this video, I really have enjoyed this chapter....

  • and to think they were trying to practiclly kill each other in the movie

  • @Bogmyre no, the maitlands were, but lydia agreed to marry him if she helped to save the ungrateful maitlands.

  • @blondrose84 ..... you know youre right, it WAS the maitlands, thanks for the correcting (no that was not sarcasm)

  • Beetlejuice would be a hell of an awesome boyfriend.

  • @KagLuvsInu so true, though i might attack him with a toothbrush first haha.

  • @KagLuvsInu you mean hubby (watch the movie)

  • @KagLuvsInu Lydia would be a hell of an awesome girlfriend.

  • @KagLuvsInu yeah faggot he would

  • @ricoismybitch Faggot? I don't see why you had to include that in your comment, but all right then.

  • @KagLuvsInu oh sorry ! homosexual would be appropriate .

  • @ricoismybitch Ok? Since when have I suddenly become a homosexual?

  • @KagLuvsInu I don't know ?! since i said so you were , maybe ?!

  • @ricoismybitch wow that's a bit much. I mean why bother calling someone a action of joining two pieces of something. it boggles my mind why anyone even considers the word an insult at this point. with how often that name changes it's meaning. Heck your youtube name mean you into bestiality if you consider that an insult. which in most people's heads is the greater of the offense to the public.

  • @BrokenFWD ahhhhhhhhh..... what ?!

  • @ricoismybitch Calm down, man. There's no need to get all worked up. I wouldn't want your mind to explode from the pure stupidity you're spewing.

  • @KagLuvsInu okay faggot

  • @KagLuvsInu every litte girl at some point of their life has had a crush on beetlejuice

  • @lovelyangel2244 I still have a crush on him. .____.

When I was a little girl(i am biologically female) I used to love, love, love him.I adored him so much that at some point I actually desired to be him.I had this little dress in black and white stripes which I used to close up at the bottom with safetypins so it looked like his suit.I love the cartoon, love everything about the character.amazing

  • @lovelyangel2244 I think we all can agree to that!

  • @AllAboutStuffTv yup he was really adorable especially when he calls lydia babes *dreamy sigh* LOL

  • @lovelyangel2244 15 and I still do! rofl saying that in public can get me arrested, "I have a crush on a dead guy"

  • @SailorLeeches I'm 22 now but I still wanna marry that guy.

  • @parasitegod I'm 26 and I still love it!!

  • @FelicianoCookie So am I and so DO I.

  • @lovelyangel2244

    And little boys on Lidia

  • @lovelyangel2244 I'm 16 and I STILL have a crush on beetlejuice xP

  • @DarkReapersGrim , @phillipinootaku -- When I was 16 I wanted to find a girl like Lydia: smart, pretty without being stuck-up about it, a little offbeat, puts up with my crude behavior and cornball jokes, and doesn't mind the kind of stuff that makes most girls squeamish, like boogers, fleas, and excess gas.

  • @phillipinootaku Hell, I'm 27 and I'm willing to join that club.

This has to be one of the most memorable episodes for me-I swear it got played a LOT when this show was on TV.

I'm with everyone else. I know there's the tapes for the time being, but yeah, DVD release! NOW!

  • @KagLuvsInu I agree whole-heartedly ^_^

  • @KagLuvsInu so women do prefer boyfriends who are always in trouble with the law huh?

  • Lol, they forget little Arlo's bow in a few places. But it's still a great eppie :D

  • loled at the sandworm's face when Beetlejuice screamed, "GHOST WITH THE MOST!!!"

  • 2:45 - 3:30 : big lipped alligator moment

  • God , I was searching for this for so long:X i love it and it reminds me of my 10 year old self :X:X

  • haha the blue squares at 0:53, one of them says F, of facebook , well it looks like :O

  • i would love to bring this and other old nick toons back on the air

  • Wow this show is even more deranged then I remembered! Beetlejuice is brilliant! Although sometimes I wonder how Lydia could put up with him, because he's such a slimey scumbag. They really don't make cartoons like they used too, this was back in the day when animators used to take more risks! This is allot funnier then I remember it being as a kid, go Beetlejuice!

  • gotta love beetlejuice <3

  • ewwwwwwww he wants kiss lyida poor thing put look at his mouth thats she wont

  • I LOVE 7:08 - 7:36 HES SOOOOOOOO FLIPPIN FUNY

  • I just Love This Song

  • beetlejuice sounds like Ned in police academy!!!

  • hey everone let try to put this back on nicktoon or something

  • @judedudemude YEA!(agreeing with u)

  • @alexdyson01 thanks man any one else wanna help on bring this old dinosaur (morph into a dinosaur) back to tv ?

  • @judedudemude actually i am. in fact im trying to get the copyrights for meh animation business in order to not only post the old episodes, but to bring out new ones as well. (her in high school) *winks* lots of fun there. :D lol

  • @judedudemude the problem is how to do that?

  • beetlejuice would be a awesome bf... if he brushed his teeth and washed out his beetlemouth.

  • so which came first the movie or the cartoon?

  • @donnellia24 the movie

  • @ThePunisher645 thax

  • @donnellia24 the beetlejuice movie came first then the beetlejuice cartoon

  • @judedudemude thax jude dude :D

  • DAH BOO DEE BOO DAH!

    Lol!

  • @KennethMoreland

    That IS too funny!!

    LOL

    XD

  • beetlejuice and lydia arent dating the anniversary is for when they met and became friends

  • @FragaRaga oh thats good i thought they were(skin crawls).... married (bleh!)

  • @donnellia24: Nearly. One word away. And remember, the ring was never removed. So what does that tell you. Plus, there is always the animator's crude inside joke regarding Beetlejuice's red fingertips in this series, being that he "did it' with Lydia during her "time of the month" and never washes his flithy hands.

  • @TherealRNO (SKIN CRAWLS EVEN MORE) AHHH THATS TRU TToTT WHY TIM, WHY!

  • @donnellia24: Why Tim? Because he's freakin' Tim Burton, master of unsettlingly weird. Practically all of his movies have pedophiliac or necrophiliac implications (Beetlejuice [BJ & Lyds, enough said], Sleepy Hollow [the Hessian--once he gets his head--ends up trying to hit on girls before killing them], Corpse Bride [long-since dead Emily crushes on Victor], Pirates of the Carribbean [any fair lass with Captain Jack, since he has the pirate's death sentence/the black spot], et al).

  • @TherealRNO i kno, i was tring to make a funny. i lov his creepilious choices and movies ^_^

  • @donnellia24: I do too, within reason. I mean, it seems as if Burton typecast himself into that family horror-comedy genre.

  • @TherealRNO i kno aint he great!

  • @donnellia24: Within reason. At some point, you'd figure Burton would want to do something else.

  • @TherealRNO hey hey hey, Lydia is perfectly legal at 16, and in the neitherworld, i'll assume 12 is due to puberty, but i still think she's 16, which is still legal to marry. (funny thing bout the law, marry at 16, but legally cannot fuck till 18.)

  • @blondrose84 in episode 2 it says she's a 7th grader. So at oldest she's 13.

  • @blondrose84: No. Her character bio for the cartoon is "almost 13", she herself says she's in 7 grade--making her 13 at eldest--in the second episode, and since the movie predates the cartoon by a year and the cartoon alludes to it ("You see, I met Lydia one year ago tomorrow and she says it's our anniversary" [double-meaning, given their friendship and their "marriage" in the movie, which was never really resolved, since the ring was never removed from Lydia's finger]), there you go then.

  • The "I met Lydia one year ago tomorrow" line is virbatim from this first episode, linking the movie and cartoon, just as The Bananna Boat Song (Day-O) does .

Watch the movie. The ring on Lydia's finger was never removed, thus binding the two together.

  • Respond to this video...

  • @TherealRNO

    Source or never happened.
