  • What a song!

Mark is a real King with that solid percussive bass with those amazing slaps!

I'd love and long this band ever touches Chilean ground.

  • yes yes the 80s defined it all. the clothes the scene this music n so much like it! it never happened again.. like lightning .. the best times of my life

  • Just awesome!

  • BTW do you get the impression this band genuinely had a great time writing, playing and making a video for this song?

  • Killer chorus.

  • great band great tunes very underated

  • Profound advice sent to you in a song. "If we lose the time before us, the future will ingore us" hmm where do you find beautiful, meaningful lyric like this presented in an uplifting delivery today. Answer: doesn't exist. lady gaga is telling you she's the best slut. snoop dog is telling you to smoke more bongs, be lazy and do fuck all. All the other 201X pop stars are as shit as their sleeved tatood arms. Tuff now come late 30's "oops I think I fucked up. I was born in 69 and feel blessed

  • God! I feel alive again. I almost forgot how good music used to sound. Yes there was a time you'd listen to a song, correction many songs and the overwheling feeling of your spirit lifting would take you up and make you feel great just listening to music like this. The thousands of genuine talented hits by artists before the times of internet existed, free downloading mania and easy accessiblity has killed it off straight after a near fatal blow of 90's grunge. never forget you awesome 80's

  • trying to due a cover to this track with same meaning...i miss the 80's best years of my life...blessings..lgray4140..blu collar music..

  • THIS IS REAL MUSic period

  • Reminds me of working out at the Holiday health spa, before I started my family. Now my oldest is 26 years old. My gosh time flys.

  • proper music from a proper era full stop

  • awesome tune.

  • Great video, great song.

  • beautifull remember, pretty song the best of the years

  • Somehow I doubt I ever find the single for this. Thanks to the 1 who posted it.

  • 3 people need a lesson in "how to avoid the dislike button"

  • All the dreams that we were building

    we never fulfilled them...

Now we've waded in too deep

    and love is overboard...

All the homes that we were building

    we never lived

...could be better, should be better

    when will you learn?

  • the lead singer kinda reminds me of graham norton

  • Good music, good sound quality

  • I heard this the other day in a drugstore and wow I almost forgot it was ever made...brought me back on memory lane :-) Love the remixes as well!

  • @69wkidd Wow that's weird! I just heard this song in a drugstore yesterday and it took me awhile to remember who it was. Definitely brings back memories.

  • Man this brings back some great memories....

  • The best bass line composed by one of the most accomplished funk bassists of all time.

  • Comment removed

  • This song should be outlawed. It's too good.

  • From the days when pop musicians were professionally trained and proficent in their instruments.

Now you only need to put a couple of beats together on a computer mixer, make a loop and talk some shit on top of it, ha! ain't it funny how music has evolved?

  • lo mejor de la musica

  • flood of emotions back to childhood. wow.

  • mark looks slighly german.. dont ask me why, he just does xD

  • OMG!!! WOHOOOO!! I have been looking for this band for years!! I was in primary school and fell in love with the lead singers skill on the Bass Guitar!!! WOHOOO I can finally blast to my hearts content!! THANK YOU!!! all the way from NZ!!!!

  • @kowhai9t9 Mean Maori Mean! I'm just guessing your a Hori! Lol

  • real people making real music....shit now a day is a bunch of bullshit!!!!! NEED TO TIME WARP BACK TO THE 80S

  • @tjmarkert @tjmarkert So true! We need compassion & love & freedom to love &THAT is WHERE that music reflects from. Listen to the lyrics and review how things were. People have become increasingly greedy& even MORE shallow than ever before. Creativity comes from love & freedom & not the greed that has eclisped us. Sure there was greediness, THEN, but it has worsened SO much that we want what we had. We never knew what we know now and so those times were different. The comparison is astounding.

  • im not BROWN,i was wrong.....yes you are!!!

  • what great music man this is good stuff

  • That's a real bass line, not a computer.

  • @jzimm1075 thats right no plastic crap here, just real musicianship!

  • @2patero Nothing was plastic in those days. People actually knew how to sing, to write, to reach for something. As I said, the music REFLECTS who we were & how we lived. People took chances with one another. People felt that humanity was a value and that each of us had something to offer no matter the size. Every 25 years you will see the devolving of humanity on every level IF we return to wisdom or add to wisdom the love that we need to return to.

  • This has everything to do with why music & films& talent is so different now. Folks want to get rich fast, everyone thinks they know how to sing, ideas are stolen from one another, no appreciation for what is good. Just envy&greed. If folks were not so envious & desired to destroy what is beautiful & real, then we would have had more of this type of music and freedom. Music producers today have destroyed true talent by stealing& cheating art& talent, so folks keep what is great to themselves.

  • @kittyscratchesboo Amen to that! I agree with everything your saying! Lets hope that up cycle starts soon! The way the music and entertainment industry is today makes you wonder if these are the end time signs Nostradamus was talking about, when all you have to do to be a star is wear next nothing, know a few cuss words and be proficient on auto-tune well nuff sed! Lol

  • ÉSTE TEMA ERA EL QUE UTILIZABAN EL LA LARGADA DE TAROT EN FLORES (LUEGO SE VENIA UNA NOCHE DE GATITURRAS) ALLÁ POR EL 85/86, (HOY EL POBRE ESTÁ ABANDONADO O YA DEMOLIDO Y EN SU PUERTA LA SALIDA DEL SUBTE A) SNIFF SE ME PIANTA UN LAGRIMÓN .(BOLICHES EN EL RECUEEERRDOOOOO).Jajaja

  • I am a 70`sand 80`s rocker but this is Awesome!! Level 42 rocks man!!!

  • Maybe soon TV producers will finally SHUT UP about the sixties and free generation X to speak at last.

  • Classic...love that sound..80's to a tee but will still be fresh in decades!

  • 80's - the time that fashion forgot -however, thats not the case with music!!!

  • gotta love Phillp's hair & glasses.

  • One of the best songs I've ever heard in my whole life.

  • @matuto2007 you live a sheltered live then

  • Slap playing rules. Mark King unjoinable!

  • i use to appreciate music like level 42, and a-ha, the music industry of today is an absolute joke.

  • @mmerifield Another thumbs up for your comment. It is a damned shame too. The music industry is a difficult one because of all of the politics behind everything today. Everything is controlled to cause people to regard one another a certain way. It keeps people down& and not as cheerful. So many things are ruled by the politics of control. It's heartbreaking and it is why we yearn for these times to return. If we had the music we enjoyed THEN, people would act differently than being so shitty.

  • Damn I love these guys !
