  • amazing, really very nice

  • Wow, very nice. Does the piezo actuator produce a ripple effect on the contact surface and propel the device like that? And what would be the wear on the device if carrying a larger load?

  • This standing wave linear motor runs with the intermittent contact principle. A normal force (produced by carried load) is necessary to promote transversal force and consequently the transversal displacement (Coulomb's law).

It may carry heavier load and still promote displacement until that intermittent contact can not be satisfied.
