@carpespasm you're welcome. its for gameshark 2.41+ if your to lazy to type in the code then before screen comes it were it says "your console has been modified" swap the game for an original playatation game wait 5 seconds and then swap back it will work all the time.

@DovydasRybakas very few Playstation games are copyright protected. when you load the burnt game a black screen will come up saying that your console has been modified. for some games there is a gameshark code to bypass it but if you don't have one you can simply perform a swap trick to bypass the screen and continue playing with the copied game.

seriously, it all works! Only problem I had was that when I started the sorceress, it started playing music from the first level, so i freaked out and pushed eject on the ps2, the game played and the music stopped i beat the sorceress and put the disk back in and it all worked :D Next... @GoldfishFilms Actually, Sunrise Spring music in the Sorceress level was how it was originally in the first game. In the first game, many levels shared the same track. When the Greatest Hits version was released, each level got its own track and an egg bug was fixed.
Only the really crap 'PARDADOX' rom, it's not finished and sucks. download the iso from a guy here at youtube it's called the elusive spyro 3 rom. Once downloaded it plays on an emulator flawlessly, and on my ps2 all I had to do to get it to work was eject it on the insomaniac logo to tsop the wierd block picture.
Paradox released a patched version, but they didnt do it prooperly, it's unfinished so things will glitch, gems disappear, eggs disappear... I'll post a video of me showing you guys mine in the next week or so.

I don't think people were buying illegal copies from game stores. They are buying it from the black market. If you traded that back in at a game store, you'd probably find yourself being arrested.

...That's funky. If anyone wants to see something cool on Spyro 2,(make sure you have a perfect game and the superflame powerup first, otherwise you'll get stuck) go to Breeze Harbor, and when you fill up the pool of water to move on, dive into the water/stone step in the right spot and you'll be able to 'fly' anywhere you want-including a long ways up! But, I flew too high once, and the game froze. It's a lot of fun, though.

I'm not sure, I was installing mod chips in a friend's playstations, and as payment he ordered a couple extra for me. It was a small PIC with 8 pins if I remember right though. From what I understand it was a pretty much universal chip that works on all PSX and PSone systems

I remember this happened to me! i could play games on my modded ps1! i got this game from a guy in the flea market for $10. I started to cry when it said that, and i couldn't proceed. By the way i was 10 back then! ty for adding this!

...That's funky. If anyone wants to see something cool on Spyro 2,(make sure you have a perfect game and the superflame powerup first, otherwise you'll get stuck) go to Breeze Harbor, and when you fill up the pool of water to move on, dive into the water/stone step in the right spot and you'll be able to 'fly' anywhere you want-including a long ways up! But, I flew too high once, and the game froze. It's a lot of fun, though.

I remember having a hacked game I didn't know about. I got all the way to the Sorceress with loads of bugs, And when you defeat her, The game starts all over again. Sad. I had to buy a new one.

spyro one two and three were all fantastic.
then when they made them for playstation 2,..uh,.....needless to say,my expectations werent met.ATALL.i think they were too caught up in the graphics and forgot about making a GOOD game.
