  • thanks for this video! i didnt know that about emu oil! i always find ur videos informative:D

  • I threw away all of her product; inferior. Dont believe evrything u hair. Dont buy her product either. U r probably a friend or relative.

  • I purchased this whole entire line of products and must say that I hate it. It did not moisturize my hair and seemed to hardened it.150 dollars and I threw it away

  • Did you pay for the product by credit cards or did you send in money? Can I trust the site with my card?

  • yesss! i actually ordered on a sunday and my stuff came on wednesday!!

  • Are you still using the hydrathermal natural products. i am curious to see if they worked for you before i purchase them.

  • Thanks for the honest review. I personally think FOR ME, after researching the ingredients in the shampoos, the line would be too harsh for my hair.

I'm only considering purchasing the daily moisturizing growth lotion.

  • I have recently reversed my locs after 15 years. Looking for tips that will promote growth and strengthen hair. I have type 4b hair..

  • If anyone in the UK is interested in buying my hydratherma naturals, please contact me. I bought the range of her products and they dont agree with my hair - but for those who it worked for - I'd be happy to sell mine as I've got tons left. I'm open to offers as to how much people want to pay.

  • Hello Youngmumma i live in Birmingham, uk and am interested in buying the products from you.pls reply and let me now. Thanks

  • No problem. Its probably best you send me a personal message so that we can make arrangements, etc.

  • Just curious if you are still using this growth moisturizer? If so, do you think it has been effective?

  • I really like the way the growth lotion makes my hair feel, very soft but im not too pleased with the rest of the products from her line. Im not sure if its my hair type but i just stick to the growth oil and the growth lotion.

  • Emu oil? that's interesting.

  • Yeah studies have shown that Emu Oil can in fact cause hair to grow faster. I just didn't want ot use it, I am not really on the bandwagon of using growth aids.

  • where did u buy that?

  • check the info box. She tells you in there.

  • your hair looks real nice.. makes you look younger too

  • i was concerned b/c her shampoos have products that aren't good for natural hair. After researching her site the only products I would buy would be her leave in conditioner, emu oil, and growth moisturizer

  • There is a larger size bottle.

Even though emu oil is an active ingredient in the product.. it doesn't have to be applied to the scalp to reap the benefits..

I use it on the ends of my hair which prevents breakage, the ends stay moisturized and soft which allows for length retention.

It's really not a typical moisturizer.

  • That is true but emu oil works on the hair follicles themselves not the hair strands, so while the moisturizer itself may help retain length because of the moisture benefits, the emu oil itself has to be placed on he scalp to reap the benefits of faster hair growth. I am guessing the larger bottle can be purchased at her website as well right? Do you know how much it is?

  • why can't you use moisturizers on youre scalp? allergies?

  • I have a condition where oils put directly on the scalp cause scabs and sores so I don't apply moisturizers or oils directly on my scalp and keep my scalp very clean. It is actually very good for my scalp any way to keep it clean and healthy any way so I have no problems. I was never one to oil my scalp ever any way so no loss there.

  • Sorry if I seemed noisy. I have a daughter who gets a gunky itchy scalp hella quickly if you put anything on it besides a sulphate-free shampoo, coconut oil and neem oil. So, just wondering if it was an allergy to the ingredients or if your scalp actually can't stand things on it.

  • No problem, no I just can't put things like this on my scalp when they contain large amounts of oils.

  • To be honest I don't know how it will work with it. The glycerin causes the custard to take much longer to dry and it may also cause the product to bead up on your hair. Try it and see because it may work, when you do let know what happens please.

  • Can you use this product with the Kinky Curly? One of your videos states states that glycerin is not good with Kinky Curly.

  • how do you get your ponytail so tight without getting a headache? lol

  • lol it's actually not tight at all, check out my vid "How I Do My Puff" thats will show you, it's alot of smoothing, not to much tension. :o)

  • im really gonna post a vid soon bec i value ur advice. u r 1 of the few people that seem to have similar hair experiences so forgive all my questions... but i just need to hear from somebody i can relate to if u know what i mean.

my concerns r multifold which is y i need to post a vid to get suggestions: 1. EVERYTHING sits on my hair. There4 by the time i rub it in ive caused 2. lots of frizz and "loose" hair coming out of the coils. It's like a weird film that costs my hair, lol.

  • i wud say my hair is 4a/b (duh) and it's at the stage where it's just responding to being being out in public (out of braids, lol). so in the 2 mns since bc ive noticed more and more that my hair is getting VERY TIGHT coils, esp around the hair line and looser ones thruout.

been using komaza coconut line (will do product review) and i dont know i guess they work fine but i dont really have anything to compare it to. just ordered hair rules for kinky hair. hum. advice please?

  • sorry, not costs...coats.

im definitely learning patience bec right after my bc my hair was mostly straight but i definitely see progress. dont know if i can attribute that to products alone.

ok, im done for now. will let u know when vid is posted.

    take care

  • I really want to try these products, but when I get back on my feet. Good review!

  • My hair and I have an excellent relationship with Hydrathema Naturals.....I'm a customer for LIFE.  Happy Hair Growth to you =}

  • I have the shampoo & conditioner too and it makes my hair super soft! Her products are awesome.

  • I agree 100% with this review. It smells so good I want to eat it. XD And I notice that after it has been in my hair a while and my hair dries it feels soft. I use almost the whole line though not as regular as I should. 5 stars.

  • First off who said I was complaining, it is just a personal preference. Secondly, you have no idea what I am currently doing but if it matters to you that much, which it seems it does, I am currently making changes in my life to not eat meat. Gradually. So, don't pass judgement until you have your facts straight. Every little bit that can be done towards that lifestyle change is always good. So like I said before don't pass judgement until you know for sure!

  • this not true they don't kill the emu bird to get the oil nor are they tested on animals. do ur research b4 u make statements like that. thank you

  • You should do your research, emu oil is taken from the fat of the emu, when the emu is slaughtered the fat is removed. How else is the fat taken from them, they certainly aren't alive when the fat is cut from them. I never said the company tested on animals either. I am correct in my statement, so THANK YOU!

  • thanks for the info. btw...love your puff!

  • Thank you so much!

  • you always have good info on here! i've been natural since '97-ran the whole gamut of styles (big fro,lil fro, twists, blow outs, locs for 5 yrs, back to a lil fro now) out of all the stuff i've tried what i love the best still is sta-sof-fro hair&scalp spray. yup-the one from back in the day :-) cost bout $3/bottle. sleep with a satin cap on cuz its a lil greasy, but still my fave. give it a try if you havent! keep the great videos coming! we enjoy them!!

  • I have heard a few women on the forums talking about it and I have wanted to try it but I can't put anything with oil as a main ingredient on my scalp especially sprays. It causes major problems and my scalp doesn't like it. Do they make it in a cream form?

  • i'm not sure - i haven't seen it in any other form but spray. but if i see it in cream form, i'll let ya know!

  • Thanks so much for this information. It was really insightful. I never heard of this product but I am a little curious to see how it would work in my hair. The animal product is making me kind of standoffish.

  • I feel you on the emu oil. It does make your hair grow but because of where it is taken from I won't be getting it again. The moisturizing properties are absolutely wonderful though.

  • Thanks for sharing. I am natural(for 10 yrs) I don't get much growth and it is always very dry even though I am always condititioning it (moisture and proteins) Maybe I will try, but I feel you on the emu oil thing. Your hair is soo cute by they way. Love the texture.

  • Aww miss ya too! I haven't had the time to do many videos lately. My husband and I are in the process of buying a house so you know how much time & stress that involves. Keep us in prayer. I'll be back soon.

  • Omw your hair is too cute!

  • LOL thank you

  • You're welcome :)

  • Nooooo, a new product :( I got enough, now you got me wanting to try this one... esp. since I just checked out her channel... ahhhhhhhhh... lol smile :) I'm LOVING your PUFF!!!!! Stay Beautiful :)

  • LOL I know how you feel, I am a recovering product junkie.

  • You are looking too cute in this vid, darling. I mean you're always cute, but you got a little something extra working! lol

Thank you for the review! You know I LOVE them! ;) The product sure looks like it is doing its job on ya!

  • LOL yeah it is a good moisturizer. I haven't seen a hair vid from you in a minute.

  • Hmmm, so you don't like it enough to order again??

  • I love it and would buy again if it didn't have the Emu Oil in it. The animals are killed for their fat so the emu oil can be extracted. So that is my reason for not buying again. If it was just a moisturizer I would without the emu oil then I would have no problems.

  • thanks for the review. i did my big chop after i saw her cut her own hair, lol. i was going to buy her products but i noticed on her website that the shampoo contains sodium sulfate so i didnt even bother. maybe ill try this product since you seem to like it so much because my hair is hungry for a good daily weightless moisturizer.

have you tried any other products from her line?

  • No I haven't cause they have Emu oil in them and the shampoo has sulphates. I do do the whole growth agent hair products.

  • Your hair has grown very well.

  • Thank you

  • yes I have been sub'd to her for a while, and I've been to her website. your puff is so cute, still working on mine though.

  • Thanks girl! I am gonna make a video on how I do my puff. See if it helps some.

  • hummmm. fellow youtuber huh! Shit I need to create a hair linr! :)

  • LOL you could do it!

  • Aww thank you!
