While I agree with those who said that no version of this song will top the original by Lynn Anderson, I am puzzled by all the hostility, especially by so-called 'fans' of KD Lang. She wasn't blackmailed or forced to do this duet. She did it out of respect and graciousness, and would probably be mortified at the insults to Kathy Lee Gifford by her followers.
