Apple ONLY designs their hardware. It is manufactured by OTHER COMPANIES (Foxconn). If those other companies used slave labour, that is not entirely on the shoulders of Steve Jobs. It's up to those other companies to get their shit together.

Freedom of the press only exists if you aren't doing anything illegal, which there was as a item they didn't own, and knew who the owner was sold for more then $900 which is a felony. As the Roomate called the police, I don't see how Apple did anything wrong.

How did Gizmodo try and extort Apple? They asked for a legal letter requesting return of the product to legally protect themselves. Well, Apple has call records to show that contact was attempted to return the phone before being sold to the blogger, then the blogger attempted to return the phone and was still met with denial. It's sad the Apple employee can't fess up to being stupid and losing it. Way to go Steve for continually stating that the phone was "stolen."
