True! 'Non-taster' is the official name given by Dr. Bartoshuk when she brilliantly segmented individuals in these 3 groups. Mildly-taster is another name used in the movie.
I can confirm that when we performed tastings, we observed that 'non-tasters' do perceive taste, it's just that it needs to be strong :)
