They were destroyed by the liberal media, but they did many good things to help turn a bad economy into the boom of the late 90's. I am a Conservative, not Republican. Republicans are much too moderate/liberal in these times. The Republicans from the mid-90's are the conservatives that I would support. They were destroyed by the liberal media, but they did many good things to help turn a bad economy into the boom of the late 90's. Remember their welfare reform, their tax cuts, their work toward balancing the budget. Do you remember the economic boom of the late 90's? Thank the conservatives in Congress for that.

I was not a McCain fan because he is too moderate for me. He's not conservative because he's not against the liberals plan to hand all government services to illegal aliens and there are other liberal programs that McCain goes along with. I never supported McCain because I am a conservative.

Before Sarah Palin gives any advice to anyone she ought to pay attention to what is going on in her camapign. Both campaigns (Obama & McCain) by law have to have transition teams in place in case they win. The guy the McCain/Palin campaign chose has a past. Seems he was a lobbyist and one of his clients was Saddam Hussein. It's true! I would say that trumps the William Ayers thing all to hell. He has said all drug addicts should be shot while he was going to many doctors getting drugs. He also said the 911 widows are lucky and profited from their husbands death. I guess I spoke to soon,yesterday there was Cindy McCain talking like Barack Obama did something to her son.Please! First of all where is he serving and is he on the front lines? Secondly her husband (that would be John McCain) voted the same thing a month later but used the excuse he knew that Bush would veto it.Maybe Obama knew that it would pass and wanted to make a statement against this war that atleast 75% of america wants to be over! They (the MCain campaign ) really look desperate!!!
