By the way i am Moroccan and I have many friends from differrent countries. I know many egyptians are used to pronounce the P as a B. for example Problem becomes Broblem and the R is stressed to much. Japanese people are confusing R and L, Si becomes Shi, two becomes tsu, but becomes butto etc...
The midle-easters (almost Egyptians )pronounce P as B but if they try to prounounce P correctly they can but the problem is when they study english they study the alphabets by arabic that hasn't the P. They have also a problem with the R.
in the other hand the North africans(Moroccans,Algerians,Tunisians) except (egyptians and maybe libyans also) they study english by english and not by arabic they can pronounce english as English people/Americans.

Thank you very much for you contribution.... It'll be great if you don't pronounce the [i:] sound out so that students would be differentiate the voiced and unvoiced accents better...
I don't have dimples :(. A thing people who speak spanish have difficulties with when speaking english is usually the difference between b and v. For us, they are long b and short b, and they are both pronounced b and the use of v is completely arbitrary and useless (at least in my country, there are lots of spanish pronunciations). It's funny because when you start being fluent in english because you studied, you start using the difference between b and v. Even when noone does.
I can't understand why the "P","B" pair and the "R","L" pair are so difficult for many people. May be that's because my mother language also have similar sounds - not exactly the same ones - , but the thing is that no matter how much I think on it I can't see any similarity between those sounds, I can't get why they're confusing. Some other sounds, like English vowels, are in general more challenging to any English student.
Because an L equivalent doesn't exist. Or one of P or B doesn't exist. English speakers have trouble with the rolled R in Spanish, because it doesn't exist in English. French R is also hard. So I can understand the trouble.
Alright lets see, in Viet Nam, We do have P but its different pronunciation. We do not release the air much or may be if you do , you are a new learner( to Viet Nam). Just image i speak like that every single day since i was a child. its hard for me to control the volume of releasing air. Btw, that's why we are watching this video lolz
