@stupieboy sure got the right name cuz that was pure stupidity what u just said. Rottweilers are by no means fighting dogs. a decent pit would cur the best rotti u could possibly find. rottis aint made for that. @daikaiju92 thank you. some1 has some sense.
Rotts are the only dog that can beat and kill a pit. This is a pretty cool vid! Reminds me of my German Sheppard I had years ago. My step dad would do the same thing and my dog would actually bite hard enough through the gear to draw blood. AWESOME!!!
Rotti's are the best dog to get to protect your family. They love you and trust no one else. Our best friend cannot enter the house when we are not home. Rottiwelliers are very affectionate and very smart. I'd recommend a Rott or a Rotti x Black Lab, but not with a German Shepherd. Just stating my opinion. We've had 3 purebred Shepherd females, and 2 Rotti x Black Labs over the years and the Rotti's are family dogs than the Shepherds.
@Sinensis828 i've had nothing but pure bred rott's my entire life from when i was child until now and i can honestly say that i would never think about any other type of dog. there defensive protective and scary. but at the same time are insanely playful and "cute" i guess you could say. @MegaCoolboy00 Of course it's fake...it's clearly a training exercise. Who thinks to themselves "Oh you know what might be fun? If I left my own rottweiler rip my arm off!"
@reptifreak99 you forgot your capslock on. im sure the dog can "identafy" them by "there" smell. but such brutal activity should not be on display for kids in that age.. just saying, bad parenting.
@Zectari not bad parenting. the dad is showing the kid what the dog is willing to do to protect them if he cant be there. get a life moron. ur just some spoiled rich fucker that thinks every thing is bad. go to hell and get a life
@monkey4man whoah take a chill pill son. go to hell AND get a life? the kid is making noices of confusion and fear while this is happening. if this is to show him that he can go out in the world do whatever with his dog coz then he'll be safe, i'd say that is a bad idea. kids need to know what is safe and not what, this kid, will probably think as long as he got his dog it's allright ;)
People need to stop with the harsh and bashful comments. I understand being concerned and worried about the dogs behavior, but the owner is not training to dog to fight or be aggressive, he is teaching the dog to protect his family from bad people. Also, for some who don't know, K-9 officers have to train there German Shepherds the same technique, and they are not misbehaved dogs.
@dadubs93 shut up you ugly racist. most prolly your broke ass will break into some ethnic minority's house you moron! comments like yours piss me the hell off!
@athealovesu Well done, congradulations on not being able to read a comment properly and see its real meaning, and jumping to conclusions without using your brain!
lol love it .....dogs love a play fight but they also know when it's NOT a play fight ... I play fight all the time with my gsd dog, he's a kitten in a big dogs body lol - but ohhh don't you dare try hurt me - he won't be a kitten then lol ..............
@mareble412 WRONG,WRONG. Most all Rotties I have ever owned or know have the instinct to protect the family. I don't play with my Rottie like in the video. But, come over to my house and try to shove or hit me, and see whats happens. You'll probably still be there when either the police or coroner gets there. Most all dogs will protect their families. A well socialized and trained Rottie is a thing of beauty, at least to me.
@surrynet yeah, thats what meant. Dogs are born with the instinct and dont have to be taught. All I was saying is that dogs dont rationalize, they react. I grew up with a Rotty and one issue we had was that when my friends playfully push or play with me, he would instantly be protective.
@mareble412 Crap .. dogs go by tone of voice and body language, they know when thier owner is play fighting with them and know when thier owner is getting attacked.. as thick as you might be .. a dog can tell the difference between a playful scream and a real one .......
@KazzyUW Nope, im not thick, im a dog owner, not a dog lover. I love dogs but I understand that intelligence is limited. WE know the difference---but dogs do not always. It comes from reading and researching dogs before i got one and not relying on what I thought was right. Thats why dogs like Rotts and Pitts get a back rep--dont play with such dangerous power thinking you can always predict it
@mareble412 I do understand, but that can happen to any dog. And also, if you are not a dog lover you will never be in that frame of mind, you can love, teach and becareful when owning a dog. And also even the ones that aren't dog lovers do mistakes and even the ones that are ''suppose'' to know a dog behaviour like trainers, fuck up. Anyone can make mistakes at any time, anywhere, in any situation with any dogs. No one is perfect, humans aren't perfect neither are animals. Animals are smart.
@KazzyUW True. And also you gotta know your dog, yourself, who surrounds you and your environment. Like every human is different so is every animal. That is why you take things by step and get to know your dog. Some dogs will play along, some won't, some will attack in a gentle matter, some won't
Does he ever bite you on accident? Reminds me of the playfighting my brothers do with the cat, she gets so excited, eyes big, ears forward, she enjoys it.
lol this is too cute, we did this to our rotties and they loved it.. There was no protection tho.. They were just havin play time.. And so were we lol
Everyone grow the fuck up..... I had two German Rotties. I use to rough house with them like this since i was 8yrs old. Im now 23yrs old and my Rotties passed away. But the point is even though i roughrf house with them I had niece and nephews as young as 1yrs old and they would claim on top pull their ears and even sleep on there stomach and not once did they snap. Its they way the owners raises them its not the dog u assholes. Grow the fuck up already.
I'd never encourage play like that, you are teaching your dog it's okay to bite you. The dog doesn't know the difference from a towel or a shirt sleeve, imagine all of that bite force clamping down when you don't have a piece of fabric protecting your arm...It does not matter if this dog is not protection trained,it's not okay to let a dog bite it's owner, if it were protection trained dog owners would be their own decoys...
Lol my dad came home pissed off idk why lol. And he threatend me and put his hand up like he was going to slap me( witch I know he wasn't going to because I broke his nose when he tried to hit my mom and he's kinda scared of me he gets In my face but I know I can kick his ass) and my short haired pointer bit him in the ass :D Brandy is the best dog I've ever had!!! P.s: mom and dad split up :) yay lol
even if it's just a game it's still good becuz if someone tried attacking ur family ur dog would go at him, even if he wouldn't intentionally harm him it would still scare him off. but i do think ur dog would intentionally harm them if he didn't recognize them which is very good i think :D as long as he knows it's a game i don't see a problem with it
Oh boy. Where to begin. How people here commenting "they are just playing!" are actually professional & experienced dog trainers / behaviorists? Show of hands?
This is the type of thing that gets powerful breeds like Rotties into big trouble down the line.
@PatBattleBF1942 Couldn"t agree more! Any RESPONSIBLE Rottweiler owner knows that their Rottie will defend their owner/family/home/car etc to their last breath. Why do irresponsible owners have to "BIG" these wonderfull dogs up on youtube??? make them look aggresive & potray them as nasty, evil dogs? Oh, look what my Rottie will do when i attack my son??? WTF??? I really don"t know where to begin either. Scott3714 You are ONE irrespsonsible owner!
@hellkat1234 Please note I do not wish to condemn the person that posted the video - I just don't think he understands that haphazard protection training, especially with any powerful breed, is a *really* dangerous thing. That said - I don't know this particular dog's temperament / drive / nerves. I'm not saying "this dog is ruined" by any means. But what I see is a *potential* formula for disaster down the road when engaging a dog in this manner.
Hey dude are you really training him? That is good because what if something happens with your kid and then your doggie will save the day! Train him good
I love the video, I bet this family has no doubts that there rottie would protect them in a real live senerio good thing this isnt realy but if it was this dog would protect , ( I LOVE YOUR DOGGIE!!)
lol, my rott used to do that; we pretend to attack each other and she would separate us... my great dane does that too :P
All parents should have rotts to protect their kids from kidnappings! inside the house and in the garden cuz you never know! plus, this breed of dog adoooores kids. yay rotts! :D i want to hug the dog now O_O
Your rottweiler reminds me of mine when i was six, he would protect me if my dad was playing fithing with me, hehe your video brought a smile to my face thank you!!:]
No need to "fire a Rottweiller into protection mode". Or even try to make him prove him/herself. Their fearless hearts WILL be there for you. ALWAYS. Just let Rottweilers be the loving, beautiful, noble dogs that they are, Treat your Rottweiler with the LOVE & RESPECT that they deserve. NOT put vids up that show what they can do! RESPECT ROTTIES!!!
don't listen to people who are giving you a hard time about this sort of training....the dog knows it's you and is playing "the game" with you. I bet he'd "go off" on a stranger though. Nice vid.....
This is where the command AUS comes in. I put the arm on and my Rott is jumping for joy! He knows not to bite unless told to. He also knows that "attack" is the ultimate game of tuggy. I don't know if this dog is trained for protection or not. Doesn't really look like it because he has a bad bite. Trained protection dogs are taught to use their whole mouth and not do the nipping action this dog is doing.
awsome dog i no you were playing bu if soomeone did break in and trry hurting you geys do you think he would protect you cause my rot is really sweet but last year someone that didt like me got into a fight and he had hit me and my rot did bark and growl and tried to bite but i called him off........
i used to play with my black lab like this, except it was with a really thick snow glove. same thing, really. the second the glove came off, she'd go back to being soft-mouthed. it's pretty harmless play once they know their boundaries!
My dad used to have a Rotti(He died a few years ago)... And that dog, named Bear, was the sweetest, loviest, best dog in the world...But if he thought someone wanted to hurt us, he went into protect mode.It asn't something we trained him to do, it was natural.. It's the same with our German Shepard, Jake...Protection us is natural...Heck, all three of our dogs are lovey until they sense danger..
Its part of the training with Schutzhund actually. And this would be the protection part of the sport. A lot of police trainers teach the dogs this for protection purposes although its basically a more advanced version of tug of war. Its popular in Dobes, Rotties, and German Shepherds! A very good sport actually!
lol this is cute my rottweiler that i had since i was 3(he died when i was 11 and im 14 now)used to protect me from my big brother when we wrestled..haha he would chase him around the house and bark at him.i love these dogs! =)
ok this is just like my grandpa traind him he went to the army and i think thats were he learned to so he would tuck my mom and her brothers in and so he tucked them in and than hit LITE he did that every day so he did that night after night and than one night he was about to tuck them in and before he touched them the dog growled and that is how he was able 2 try to start at young age so he gets the habit and doesnt hurt when he starts biteing hope i helped
i growed up with rottweilers in our house since i was born, and when i was about 8 or 9 i had a really bad conflict with my mom and she screamed at me very loud. the rotti we had at this time, queenie, heard about that and ran from the kitchen to the scnd floor into my room and place her across forward me and bark and snarl on my mother .we never had to show her or train with her a situation like this, so
i'm 100% sure he would give his live to protect his family, for that he dont need any train
wow, so many dumbasses commenting, of course the dog knows it's his owner THEY ARE PLAYING!!! god lol, if the owner was really a dumbass trying to look like he was training his dog then he wouldn't be using a wrapped up towel or whatever to protect his arm from being chewed off where-as if it were a real kidnapper then sure he'd be screaming and bleeding by then. The owner appears to be in controll here if things got out of hand im sure he could handle it.
@Scott3714 I used to do the same thing with my male he loved to hit the towel, he wouldn't bite my bare skin. Even with the towel he never bit hard he knew we were playing.
@Scott3714 Actually, it's not stupid at all. You seem to be doing well at training your dog to protect his owners. That's a life saver. You should be proud of what you're doing. I do believe dogs will naturally protect their owners as long as you love and respect them. However, it's always good and helpful to train them just in case. I enjoyed watching. I subscribed.
@Scott3714 Actually, it is training. It's just that all three of you are having fun. By playing with your dog this way, you are training him to behave in a certain manner should the real thing ever occur. You are also giving him the confidence he needs to react in a real life situation. People underestimate what play does for/to dogs. Which is why far too many people have no control over their large/aggressive breeds. Good thing you appear to have good control :)
@RaioShii2021 ohh yeah it really knows its his owner when he bites his owner the dog does not know he is using a towel, he just try's to bite his arm off imagine he missed his arm and got the boys face, its dumb fucks like you who think dogs are humans, thick fuck
@SuperChelseaFC1905 You're a moron, you're the type of asshole that would put down rotties or pitbulls just cause they protect their owners. The kids' in no danger, the Rottie didn't miss and bite the child, the child is fine, the child was having fun, get over yourself, "thick fuck". Dude, if you don't like animal's then don't look'em up!
@SuperChelseaFC1905 again, this guy, and the rottie, are PLAYING!!! Even more than that, they are PLAYING!! THAT'S HOW THEY PLAY!!! if you've ever had a rottie, or a pitbull, you'd know that then.
@RaioShii2021 i love dogs, but its when dumb fucks like this guy and you who think dogs are humans and they dont bite " Oh my dog doesn't bite" fucking idiots its people like you who give these dogs bad reps why make a unnecessary risk, just play with the dog not get it annoyed and angry you pig fuck
@SuperChelseaFC1905 again, if you've never had a rottie or a pitbull before, then just stop talking, you obviously don't know jack shit about the crap you're talking about. This dog was NOT getting annoyed NOR angry, hell if you've ever played tug-of-war with ANY dog they growl! It's THEIR way of PLAYING!
Get your head out of your fuckin ass and stop talking shit to me, I LOVE my dog, and fuck no he doesn't bite he's always friendly even around strangers! So fuck you, you can't label me!
@RaioShii2021 i have a Rottweiler, American Bully and a staffordshire bull terrier, i know how to handle dogs, its wankers like you who think its funny when kids are involved aww hes such a nice dog until he bites your face off, you fucking WOG
@SuperChelseaFC1905 I will leave you here to dwell in sorrow of your ignorance. "What if the rottie missed and bite the childs face to pig fuck" Obviously that isnt the case here, the dog didn't miss, that's a fact, and you could take this video to any court room and have the judge see it, and as long as they're in the right mind, they would see nothing wrong with this. Your ignorance and illiteracy are beyond help, I recommend you see a shrink about that.
@RaioShii2021 You're not supposed to play tug of war with a dog. The correct procedure is to either allow them to have whatever the object is, or to take it from them as you are pack leader. The moment you start playing tug-of-war with a dog and it begins to growl and challenge you for possession of the object, that's a step towards you losing your role as pack leader.
@RaioShii2021 You've hit the nail on the head saying "that's how they play" - precisely why they are known as dangerous dogs, because any play like this is potentially fucking dangerous.
@DancinJim I agree and understand with what you are saying, except there is one problem with your perception of how a dog play's. I have a friend who's got a pure bred pitbull, she absolutely loves to play, if you pick your feet up and "playfully, not violently" nudge her away with your foot she'll start playing, she growls, wagging her tail.
@RaioShii2021 This may well be something unique to the breed, or indeed to that dog. I don't know about pitbulls as I have never owned one, nor do I even have them in my country as they are banned. I was really referring the the tug of war itself being a battle for dominance - the growling could be incidental. I think the key to that is the 'ownership' of the object.
@DancinJim Growling alone does not signify that it's turning to aggressive behavior, I'm also sure the owner would notice a change in his dogs behavior when the dog takes it seriously and changes from play to attack mode. Dog's are a little smarter than you think they are not so simple, they have feelings just like us, they can tell between play and when someone is causing an owner harm.
@RaioShii2021 I know dogs are intelligent. But so are humans - and I wouldn't personally want to confuse a human with mixed messages, no more than I would a dog. Just seems counter-productive at least. I think dogs that have the potential to be lethal should either be totally house-trained and made into submissive family pets, or kept as guard dogs. To me, this dog seems to be kind of in limbo between the two and it concerns me. That said, this is a short video. I may be missing something
@RaioShii2021 Sorry, I have to disagree. I get the concept of it being a 'game', but if you look at guard dog instinct trials on YouTube, you will see this exact same behaviour - and they are NOT games, they are tests of the guard dog's ability. The fact is, you are confusing your dog. It knows your scent, yet its also has a guarding instinct to protect from suspicious-looking people. What will you do if one day that confusion leads to it attacking you? Your son will be fine, but you..who knows.
@RaioShii2021 I've also hear to Rotties clamping so hard they've broken a bone. Relative of mine is in the RCMP and said the police dogs use such force that you end up falling. This is just a game. I feel like people are retarded. We had a pitbull whose FAVORITE GAME was wrestling. These dogs need exercise. They are not to show-off and look cute window shopping.
i did this with my dog and she bite the hell out of me i had to wrap my arm up because it was bleeding so bad. i had on a mask and some one else clothes so she thought it was some one else. oh and she is a medium size dog that usally is scared of every thing.
So does a dog have to be specially trained to do that? What would happen if I had a couple of rottweilers, and I walked past a group of guys who start beating me up?
I'm sorry but if you think your dog can't tell it's you because of a mask, you're seriously underestimating those little black noses! Any dog that had been around you for 10 minutes would recognize you the second your scent was within their reach.
@Scott3714 well you don have to be rude about it.... although its a "stupid game" to you someones gonna get hurt one day, cause your teaching that dog something he was breed out of doing. He's not meant to do that cause Rottweiler's are the #2 dog on bites in the U.S.A..... And savannahhuff00's right.
Owning a dangerous animal makes you look like the moron. Just a week ago a Rottweiler owned by a star on the reality show Ax Men attacked and killed his stepdaughter. The Rottweiler breed was listed as the second most likely breed of dog named in fatal human attacks following Pit Bulls. The list goes on and on. Stop trying to defend stupid animals and go adopt a golden retriever or boxer.
@lbz900 rottweilers are not born as a dangerous dog you ignorant fuck. They have to be taught or abused for them to be vicious. If you are going to blame someone for a rottweiler attack or any dog attack then blame the ones who are at fault, the owners. It's because of ignorant people like you that we have a genocide on our hands in the form of BSL.
LMAO!!! Just another example to the fact the Rottweiler owners are wired differently than normal everyday people. Thank you for proving my point! A genocide? Like the Armenian or Jewish genocides? Are you really that stupid?
@lbz900 yeah a genocide, you know where they kill the dog because it was born a particular breed. are you too dumb to understand what genocide is? I hope your precious little retriever bites you because they are as likely to bite you as any other breed you ignorant cunt
haha...I just noticed you are Canadian...please excuse me, I previously did not understand why you lack the intelligence and common sense of normal people. I obviously know what a fucking genocide is...you didn't happen to catch my reference to the Jews and Armenians? Oh sorry...again i forgot you are from Canada. And by the way, I happen to find your choice of music as rather fucking annoying. Keep responding to my comments...I most certainly am having fun.
@lbz900 So not only are you ignorant about dogs but people too. Your parents must be very proud of the piece of shit they spawned. Tell me, since you are so clever, why are you a better person? because I own rottweilers and I'm Canadian??? I think you have already proven your maturity or lack there of. I'm sorry your parents never loved you and paid no attention to you
@lbz900 my dogs will never hurt anyone because unlike your imaginary friend I don't let them run around loose. lmao Your imaginary story about your imaginary friend is a prime example of why owners are to blame and not the dogs. Anyone who is dumb enough to let their dogs run around free in a campground are too dumb to own one. It's like giving a 4 year old a loaded gun, what would you expect to happen?
Dogs should not be used as security. You can't just turn them off and they could attack friends or strangers if they feel a little uneasy its not safe.
These Wild but sweet dogs are NOT to be trained to protect family.I'm NOT cycic but in the future that dog is gonna be killed for protecting there family while walking and meeting other dogs!!!
Scott, you're a dumbass.

krayzeejojo 8 months ago
Dogs usually dont learn to protect its owner---and yes they are playing until the day the dog doesnt know when your playing and attacks.
mareble412 8 months ago
@mareble412 WRONG,WRONG. Most all Rotties I have ever owned or know have the instinct to protect the family. I don't play with my Rottie like in the video. But, come over to my house and try to shove or hit me, and see whats happens. You'll probably still be there when either the police or coroner gets there. Most all dogs will protect their families. A well socialized and trained Rottie is a thing of beauty, at least to me.
surrynet 8 months ago
@surrynet yeah, thats what meant. Dogs are born with the instinct and dont have to be taught. All I was saying is that dogs dont rationalize, they react. I grew up with a Rotty and one issue we had was that when my friends playfully push or play with me, he would instantly be protective.
mareble412 8 months ago
@mareble412 Crap .. dogs go by tone of voice and body language, they know when thier owner is play fighting with them and know when thier owner is getting attacked.. as thick as you might be .. a dog can tell the difference between a playful scream and a real one .......
KazzyUW 8 months ago
@KazzyUW Nope, im not thick, im a dog owner, not a dog lover. I love dogs but I understand that intelligence is limited. WE know the difference---but dogs do not always. It comes from reading and researching dogs before i got one and not relying on what I thought was right. Thats why dogs like Rotts and Pitts get a back rep--dont play with such dangerous power thinking you can always predict it
mareble412 8 months ago
@mareble412 I do understand, but that can happen to any dog. And also, if you are not a dog lover you will never be in that frame of mind, you can love, teach and becareful when owning a dog. And also even the ones that aren't dog lovers do mistakes and even the ones that are ''suppose'' to know a dog behaviour like trainers, fuck up. Anyone can make mistakes at any time, anywhere, in any situation with any dogs. No one is perfect, humans aren't perfect neither are animals. Animals are smart.
BluesBoots 8 months ago
@KazzyUW True. And also you gotta know your dog, yourself, who surrounds you and your environment. Like every human is different so is every animal. That is why you take things by step and get to know your dog. Some dogs will play along, some won't, some will attack in a gentle matter, some won't

TwoBit68 10 months ago
I'd never encourage play like that, you are teaching your dog it's okay to bite you. The dog doesn't know the difference from a towel or a shirt sleeve, imagine all of that bite force clamping down when you don't have a piece of fabric protecting your arm...It does not matter if this dog is not protection trained,it's not okay to let a dog bite it's owner, if it were protection trained dog owners would be their own decoys...

Oh boy. Where to begin. How people here commenting "they are just playing!" are actually professional & experienced dog trainers / behaviorists? Show of hands?
This is the type of thing that gets powerful breeds like Rotties into big trouble down the line.
PatBattleBF1942 1 year ago 2
@PatBattleBF1942 Couldn"t agree more! Any RESPONSIBLE Rottweiler owner knows that their Rottie will defend their owner/family/home/car etc to their last breath. Why do irresponsible owners have to "BIG" these wonderfull dogs up on youtube??? make them look aggresive & potray them as nasty, evil dogs? Oh, look what my Rottie will do when i attack my son??? WTF??? I really don"t know where to begin either. Scott3714 You are ONE irrespsonsible owner!
hellkat1234 1 year ago 2
@hellkat1234 Please note I do not wish to condemn the person that posted the video - I just don't think he understands that haphazard protection training, especially with any powerful breed, is a *really* dangerous thing. That said - I don't know this particular dog's temperament / drive / nerves. I'm not saying "this dog is ruined" by any means. But what I see is a *potential* formula for disaster down the road when engaging a dog in this manner.

romck1 1 year ago
This is where the command AUS comes in. I put the arm on and my Rott is jumping for joy! He knows not to bite unless told to. He also knows that "attack" is the ultimate game of tuggy. I don't know if this dog is trained for protection or not. Doesn't really look like it because he has a bad bite. Trained protection dogs are taught to use their whole mouth and not do the nipping action this dog is doing.

My dad used to have a Rotti(He died a few years ago)... And that dog, named Bear, was the sweetest, loviest, best dog in the world...But if he thought someone wanted to hurt us, he went into protect mode.It asn't something we trained him to do, it was natural.. It's the same with our German Shepard, Jake...Protection us is natural...Heck, all three of our dogs are lovey until they sense danger..
purple1316 1 year ago
Its part of the training with Schutzhund actually. And this would be the protection part of the sport. A lot of police trainers teach the dogs this for protection purposes although its basically a more advanced version of tug of war. Its popular in Dobes, Rotties, and German Shepherds! A very good sport actually!

wow, so many dumbasses commenting, of course the dog knows it's his owner THEY ARE PLAYING!!! god lol, if the owner was really a dumbass trying to look like he was training his dog then he wouldn't be using a wrapped up towel or whatever to protect his arm from being chewed off where-as if it were a real kidnapper then sure he'd be screaming and bleeding by then. The owner appears to be in controll here if things got out of hand im sure he could handle it.

Scott3714 1 year ago 19
@Scott3714 I used to do the same thing with my male he loved to hit the towel, he wouldn't bite my bare skin. Even with the towel he never bit hard he knew we were playing.
scoutSSG 1 year ago
@Scott3714 Actually, it's not stupid at all. You seem to be doing well at training your dog to protect his owners. That's a life saver. You should be proud of what you're doing. I do believe dogs will naturally protect their owners as long as you love and respect them. However, it's always good and helpful to train them just in case. I enjoyed watching. I subscribed.
ParadiseofTruth 1 year ago
@Scott3714 Actually, it is training. It's just that all three of you are having fun. By playing with your dog this way, you are training him to behave in a certain manner should the real thing ever occur. You are also giving him the confidence he needs to react in a real life situation. People underestimate what play does for/to dogs. Which is why far too many people have no control over their large/aggressive breeds. Good thing you appear to have good control :)

SuperChelseaFC1905 10 months ago
@SuperChelseaFC1905 I will leave you here to dwell in sorrow of your ignorance. "What if the rottie missed and bite the childs face to pig fuck" Obviously that isnt the case here, the dog didn't miss, that's a fact, and you could take this video to any court room and have the judge see it, and as long as they're in the right mind, they would see nothing wrong with this. Your ignorance and illiteracy are beyond help, I recommend you see a shrink about that.
Have a nice day!
RaioShii2021 10 months ago
@RaioShii2021 You're not supposed to play tug of war with a dog. The correct procedure is to either allow them to have whatever the object is, or to take it from them as you are pack leader. The moment you start playing tug-of-war with a dog and it begins to growl and challenge you for possession of the object, that's a step towards you losing your role as pack leader.
DancinJim 9 months ago
@RaioShii2021 You've hit the nail on the head saying "that's how they play" - precisely why they are known as dangerous dogs, because any play like this is potentially fucking dangerous.
DancinJim 9 months ago
@DancinJim I agree and understand with what you are saying, except there is one problem with your perception of how a dog play's. I have a friend who's got a pure bred pitbull, she absolutely loves to play, if you pick your feet up and "playfully, not violently" nudge her away with your foot she'll start playing, she growls, wagging her tail.
RaioShii2021 9 months ago
@RaioShii2021 This may well be something unique to the breed, or indeed to that dog. I don't know about pitbulls as I have never owned one, nor do I even have them in my country as they are banned. I was really referring the the tug of war itself being a battle for dominance - the growling could be incidental. I think the key to that is the 'ownership' of the object.
DancinJim 9 months ago
@DancinJim Growling alone does not signify that it's turning to aggressive behavior, I'm also sure the owner would notice a change in his dogs behavior when the dog takes it seriously and changes from play to attack mode. Dog's are a little smarter than you think they are not so simple, they have feelings just like us, they can tell between play and when someone is causing an owner harm.
RaioShii2021 9 months ago
@RaioShii2021 I know dogs are intelligent. But so are humans - and I wouldn't personally want to confuse a human with mixed messages, no more than I would a dog. Just seems counter-productive at least. I think dogs that have the potential to be lethal should either be totally house-trained and made into submissive family pets, or kept as guard dogs. To me, this dog seems to be kind of in limbo between the two and it concerns me. That said, this is a short video. I may be missing something
DancinJim 9 months ago
@RaioShii2021 Sorry, I have to disagree. I get the concept of it being a 'game', but if you look at guard dog instinct trials on YouTube, you will see this exact same behaviour - and they are NOT games, they are tests of the guard dog's ability. The fact is, you are confusing your dog. It knows your scent, yet its also has a guarding instinct to protect from suspicious-looking people. What will you do if one day that confusion leads to it attacking you? Your son will be fine, but you..who knows.
DancinJim 9 months ago
@RaioShii2021 I've also hear to Rotties clamping so hard they've broken a bone. Relative of mine is in the RCMP and said the police dogs use such force that you end up falling. This is just a game. I feel like people are retarded. We had a pitbull whose FAVORITE GAME was wrestling. These dogs need exercise. They are not to show-off and look cute window shopping.

Stop trying to defend stupid animals and go adopt a golden retriever or boxer.
lbz900 1 year ago
@lbz900 rottweilers are not born as a dangerous dog you ignorant fuck. They have to be taught or abused for them to be vicious. If you are going to blame someone for a rottweiler attack or any dog attack then blame the ones who are at fault, the owners. It's because of ignorant people like you that we have a genocide on our hands in the form of BSL.
ROTTIMAN31 1 year ago

LMAO!!! Just another example to the fact the Rottweiler owners are wired differently than normal everyday people. Thank you for proving my point! A genocide? Like the Armenian or Jewish genocides? Are you really that stupid?
