This video is terrible. I watched around 6:05 when you say you silenced the druid, while two melee are slashing at your back. That's great that you silenced the druid, why not just charge to him and kite the melee?
hi i'm new to FC on 4.3 my first time since rbg's started i'm an arena guy so i wanted to try out rbg's as an FC and i'm not doing so well i can't really tell if is my team i'm with or me but i kept on dying when they come for the flag. like how i saw you charge and leap alway from battle i've tried that and my teammate/healer didn't like it any tip?
How are your keys bound? I noticed a lot of them said s-1, s-2, s-3, s-z, etc... Any tips on key binding would be nice, b/c I've come to the conclusion that warriors have about a hundred more abilities than I have keys.

Youre not using your Last Stand look at 6:10 you say u pop the macro and that gives LS and RC but LOOK on the buffs, theres just the rallying cry and you fucked your Last Stand CD...
Last Stand and Rallying Cry are on same cooldown. They cannot be stacked. Also, Gag Order 2/2 gives Pummel a 100% chance to silence target for 3 seconds (same as Heroic Throw). Also intercept incurs a 30 second cooldown on charge (as opposed to 13 seconds normally), so this is no longer viable. This vid was probably shot and commented before these patch changes occured though.
@samio1221 : My mistake on intercept/charge behavior in prot spec. I always assumed they behaved the same way as Arms. My error, and THANK YOU for helping me realize this vital mobility functionality that I've had at my fingertips but never taken advantage of. Cheeers!

Although, just like someone pointed I would save Heroic Leap for certain cases for mass attack and you can get out, or smoke bombs, also we usually defend on 3rd floor WSG for example cause shamy can push everyone off and that gives us alot damage reduction on attackers, and when we return you heroic leap down to cap.
you can use the bg battle standards in rateds also. i use it in my oh shit heal macro. which is pretty much the same as the one you posted, but adding in the battle standard also. still working on upgrading to season 10 gear and it gives me 240k hp when i hit and the enraged regen is amazing with that much hp. was in an av and got the buff from galv and popped the macro and was at 310k hp. BTW, very nice video.
good video but you sir are wrong about not being able to deal much damage out as prot. Cast vigilance on your healer to gain vengance then crush the enemy. Popping recklessness, Col smash and any dps trinks you may have you can squeeze out some huge shield slam crits, Heroic strikes and Devestates. This is just my tidbit to add.
@Dogsoldier22 A prot FC spec doesn't have points into Vigilance and what you want is survivability, why would you pop Recklessness? Its all about surviving, your job is the flag, let the dps do the damage.

@Sinkatze of course thats the goal. But as with all warriors with heals even as an O-Prot you can survive. I'm sure that resil makes a huge difference but I just cant see gemming for resil and stam. I mean i dont see the logic in it when (unless this has changed and i missed it) resil stops working after you get a set amount.
@Dogsoldier22 Actually not so, I also hear yesterday a prot warrior who was stacking stamina and just cap res at 3,5k cause he said after cap it went up to little. But with new season a Ruthless prot warr should be getting 4,3k res already and alot more after getting more gear. And yes it use to be little notice after cap before cause you couldn't get very much passes 4k, but now still gotta try get most you can, any % reduction is good, also you dont stack stamina at all. The addon that diplays the debuffs and buffs right above each enemy name plate...is that tellmewhen? I didn't realize you could configure it to do that and move with the enemy.
@clockworkjames Thats true, I usually save Heroic Leap for smoke bombs or when getting attacked on your way to flag room to get out of the mess, or also from jumping from second floor to cap when your team returns flag

Prot warrior doesnt ise rallying Cry as it shares last stands cd.
Also get you bg flag wich will give you 15% hp for 2 minutes. Excelent for when enemy is attacking
