"Sanchez has had minor run-ins with the law. In 2002, he was accused of stealing video game consoles from a store in San Bernardino County, said his defense attorney Wilson Wong. He was charged with felony burglary but pleaded guilty to a lesser charge misdemeanor grand theft and served 90 days in county jail, which he was allowed to do on the weekends. He also was cited for three traffic violations between 2001 and 2005."
Typical Affirmative Action Latino hire. The results are fatal
AmTRak from what I understand did not tell anyone this caras was going to happen. This is very irresponsible. I assume the engineer was a American teen?
I sure hope the careless engineer gets a life sentence in jail
did he phone rescue crews and inform the a crash was going to happen. did the engineer tell passengers or staff of Amtrak this crash was going to occour? Did the engineer tell anyone at all that this crash was going to happen?
First of all, Amtrak had nothing to do with this crash. I'm not sure but I think that SCRA owns these tracks and is responsible for the dispatching of the trains.
Next, they said the Metrolink engineer was like a 20 year veteran. Third, this engineer won't get a life sentence in jail, because he was killed in the accident.
He did not tell anyone the crash was about to happen, the cop who died did! The NTSB is investigating what happened and why the engineer ran the signals.
I take that train everyday on the way back from work................. that day was the one day i decided to drive..........
