You know I was always under the impression that tigers were bigger than lions. But I have seen many videos on youtube and the male lions always look slightly bigger. The mane makes them look even more impressive. What really impresses me is the size of the head of a male lion. Looks much bigger than a tigers head.
I really don't know which animal is stronger, but I think a male lions wins more often maybe not against the biggest tiger.

lion fighting techniques are pore as i have showed in my newest video, they eithere stand and throw one paw at a time or like in you video wrestle each othere, but sinece a tiger uses two paws, is smarter and has better reflexes it would kill a lion if the lion chose the stand and use one paw technique, and because a bengal or siberian tiger is usualy bigger, and even when they are the same size tigers are much more powerful and faster, a tiger would kill a lion in that wrestling technique

It could have been a lioness against a male tiger, or a sub-adult male lion. Tigers are not far more muscular. I can show plenty of lions that were as big and as muscular as the most impressive tigers you can find. But, what will it prove? Comparisons like that prove nothing. And, the lion has more then the mane.

Great videos man. Lions are always the better fighter. In the wild Lions fight packs of hyena's (sometimes 20-40 of them), rival nomads (usually 2-3 of them) and Lions hunt large prey (Buffolo, wilderbeast and there are some utube videos of Lions killing Elephants, Giraffes and Hippos).
Lions are fighters and Tigers are ambush preditors that are good at hunting but not the best at fighting.
Also the fight at 3:02 was epic. It was a good even fight.
Male lions spend their 1st 4 yrs learning to fight. Once mature they fight 2 take over a pride, then they have 2 fight random nomadic males to tp protect their territory. then they fight durin feadin time, defend from hyena clans, and prides occasional fight each other. male lions spend their entire lives fighting. now compare thiss lifestlye to a lone male tiger

Nice but i prefer a siberian tiger in the case of size and the kind of animals it hunts.Amurs are known to hunt and kill fully grown brown bears.Plus they have and extra layer of fat a muscle to help them survive the winters of siberia,but it can also be used as protection.Plus tigers have bigger palms for swiping.And unlike the lion sleeping all day,the amur has to find its food alone in siberia,and thats definately difficult.Plus tigers are willing to go to the end if thats what it takes.
@WhatsAscope Siberians don`t have an extra layer of fat during the winter. The only way an animal can increase fat content, would be if it increased it`s food intake, and as siberians find it particularly difficult to find prey in the winter, i would find this difficult to believe. Not to mention i have data upon the measurements of about 20 specimens all from scientists, and they averaged about 182 kg or so.....about equal, or less than most lion populations. And, lions do not sleep all day.

The only way an animal can increase fat content, would be if it increased it`s food intake, and as siberians find it particularly difficult to find prey in the winter, i would find this difficult to believe. Not to mention i have data upon the measurements of about 20 specimens all from scientists, and they averaged about 182 kg or so.....about equal, or less than most lion populations. And, lions do not sleep all day.

@brentlion 18 hours or more is alot of sleep and yea they are still magnificent and i dont care who will win in a fight i rather help preserve the magnificent siberian tiger population instead of fighting over this stupid shit

@WhatsAscope They spend 18 hours sleeping and resting, but, when awake they actually travel farther than tigers, whether it`s in search of food, or for territorial maintainence. And yes, i too would like to preserve the siberian....but, i fail to see how a friendly discussion, that only takes up a few minutes of your time would take away from that?

The male lion is mostly a fighter
The tiger is primarily a hunter.
This does not mean that the male tiger is a bad fighter.
It does not necessarily lose against a lion. No.
But I think the male lion is physically better designed for this.
The lion has 20 percent more testosterone than the tiger. What makes him more determined to win.
The lion has a mane which protects it from blows.

The music starts off good, but then it goes back to the sample music that comes with windows movie maker, because i was too lazy to find better music. But, overall, the vid is good.
