However most people are not looking up political information or educating themselves on the internet. Most people are on facebook, masturbating, or watching stupid youtube videos. In my experience when on youtube i am searching for educational videos like this one, but i usually get distracted by all the other keyboard cats etc. Maybe i was a little hard but i dont think its the most effective.

@randommagnum what you give is partially correct however, what you defined is more along the lines of socialism than communism the two are often confused for one another communism (let just make a quick point saying it is impossible) is the idea of ending class gaps between the haves and the have-not's so there is only one class and everyone is on equal footing granted the main idea of communism has been distorted over the years and is more shown as a dictatorship than a communist government

@micahman212 Well, one thing I've heard said about the comparison between socialism and communism is that one moves fast and one moves slow; communism happens all at once, where socialism takes baby steps but gets to the same place eventually. The effective dictatorship can be viewed as a product of human nature, when introduced into a communist system. People like power, they like to retain it, and there you have it...

Right after he says "We'll tell you whatever you want to hear," he cites how everything is all right in Archie Bunker's house and how everything always gets wrapped up at the end of the show. Does that sound like news to you?
He's talking solely about fiction and the person who made this video missed that fact by a million miles.

News networks are a business (just like any other company). they make money off of scaring the public. I'd disagree that the main problem in society today is television, though that's certainly a part of it. Like Beale said, how many people actually read books, newspapers? (no, People Magazine doesn't count) How many of you actually care about what is happening around you as your rights and liberties are taken away from you and the very fabric of your society is collapsing around you? Educate yourself, and the truth will set you free.
