in my opinion the hole demo is a bit too long but still with a lot of impressive scenes. i suppose that this demo is the work of a semi professional animation/art/graphic student...no hobby project of a kid, but i might be wrong

It's the work of the demo group ASD, competing against other groups in the annual demo competition "Assembly" (as mentioned in the description of this video), a competition with a history of 18 years.

i dunno, my flash player is still messed up, even when I move the progress bar it keeps the same delay...

I hate flash videos, I can never get them to work properly.

I ripped the HD video and the sound is fine in media player.

I'm watching this from Linux though. With Flash version 10.0.21.1_alpha 64-bit. Didn't try in Windows yet, but check if you have Flash 10 installed. Flash 9 is said to be slower with mp4 videos.
