i hate the turing part. i always get hit with a big co2 burst and feel a massive urge to breathe but then it dies off again about 2meters from the wall. any tips?
@xfreediverx it's probably not co2 but the compression on your diaphragm that messes with you a little. Try turns like Goran Colak does them, where you don't push off the wall and therefore don't have to roll yourself into a ball. It'll put less stress on your diaphragm
wow you have such good movement when youre swimming and thats amazing that you can hold ur breath that long! i have a monofin too, but only the purple fan-shaped one for fun lol, awesome video!
what stiffness did you get your blade in, the light or the medium? I've heard the LD is overpowered easily and folds in unfavorable ways (ie bows instead of cupping) but i still want one.. just not sure which.
It's the medium. I also use the fin for deep diving and i want some strength to overcome the negative buoyancy you get below 50 meters. This fin has a bigger angle, though, i had it customized by Bogdan so i don't have to flex my ankles much. It's the best fin i've tried so far, strong when you want it, but also responsive enough to really get a feel for it.

You got a pretty big fin, you can get good speed with it. :) I got a smaller, but i'm just a kid, so ;D

Do you actually kick the wall on turn? Or just touch it?
crewchill 3 years ago
I push off from it. Kicking would either hurt me or break my fin -not very efficient either way
