great way of doin the silage (don't have to bum around with contractors you see) But shit Green TRACTOR (only good for certain things-But not very many)
Nice outfit, looks like she can eat grass!! wouldnt be much slower than our 860! and atleast you have a tractor to use the rest of the year rather than a sp harvester stuck in the shed!
Is that j.d stuck in first gear? sounds like it is dropping a good few revs. Its time you put a newholland on that harvester to show you its full capacity
@CNHdw newholland sucks jd will kickass over a newholland we had a 7810 in front of 1350 cutting a 25 footswath of barley at 4 to 5 mileshour 7810 was only 150 horse.
@JGB72ISH I dont see what your talking about, that seems to be a fairly heavy crop, look how quick it bulks up in the trailers, seems to be geting rid of the grass well!
we have never blown it up with metal but i will be hounest we did blow it up with a big stone at 8oClock at night we had to change half the blades she was sharpened and ready to work by 12oClock midnight as the drum spins the oposite way to any othere forager when somthing breaks it goes striaght up the spout
the 7930 on the chopper was about two mounths old the jf1355 was on its third seasson the 6930 on the trailer was eight mounths old and the marshal trailer was five years old they have been traded in for new two mounths ago
what you reckon of the valtra i got one where i work and it's hell of a beast for a little 4 cyl. nice set up to bit better than our mf 6170 and jf 900 lol
get a bigger tractor and get that field harveted. No time for playing around. :)

Trailies are outdated dude. Only self propelled round my area
manowar7308171 2 years ago
@manowar7308171 Not outdated dune! sensibler option than a SP harvester for farmers, and i have a SP!

Our 450hp Claas Jag doesn't go much faster in a good first cut. He's doing quite well for the short chop length.
Do you control the chopper with a box or the tractor's hydraulics?

Nice setup, especially the big Deere. But I hear those choppers don't have a metal detector. Have you had any problems with it?
