he is the heartbeat and soul of this band , when you think of zz top you think of 1 man

billy is more than likely using a sequencer to build up the backing guitar riff at the start of the song,you then can get the riff you recorded back on demand when you need it, and bulk a live performance out making it sound full,handy bit of kit.

I also remember watching this one go out live. I was totally blown away by this performance when you consider the absolute cobblers that was in the UK charts at the time.

Interesting to note @1:22 secs there is a slide down on the neck of the guitar after the 'gimmie all your loving ' vocal and he doesn't actually play it like he does on the previous one so no wonder the sound was so full as there were extra guitar bits on track- hence the drummer wearing headphones too :0)

Gibbons guitar tone in  this small tight powerful club scene type sound is outstanding ! That guitar sounds AMAZING, so much better than those large concerts.
