Actually if you hack the game to where you don't start out with one, you automatically when all battles O_o.

@moss257 if you use the walk through wall cheat in Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald and battle a wild pokemon before getting a starter, you'll summon a pokemon called ?????? and it appears as the question mark in the pokedex you see for an unknown pokemon. If you view the party, its sprite looks like a yellow bulbasaur. the only move it can use is struggle because it doesnt know any moves. you can actually beat the elite 4 and the champion with this 1 pokemon. its basically the new MissingNo.
