didn't he beat OU in Norman while he coached at OSU. wasn't he one of the few coaches to do so in the big 12. not only has he recruited well at LSU, but he has also trained and developed a lot of the recruits Saban has left behind. Zook had some good recruiting classes too, but noone ever goes after Myer way they go after Miles. Shula had good classes too, but Saban has done about as much with them as Shula did.

Not only is he a comparable, if not better, recruiter than Saban was, he can also do just as much and more consistently than Saban. 3 lopsided bowl victories, including 2 BCS bowls against storied programs. His first year, he went 11-1 in the regular season, won the SEC West and the Peach Bowl, all while dealing with Hurricane Katrina.
