yeah i just put a coat or two of white on the faceplate, and then a coat or two of purple. same for the hard drive. all you gotta do is put tape over the area you don't want painted (memory card ports, infrared receiver, usb ports, ect.). then you just get an exacto knife once you've pained it, but you could also just use a normal kitchen knife. you can check out my video of my faceplate with dollar bills on it too.
