B series revs harder because its a smaller engine and the K series has more torque thats why people want to have the best of both worlds and use an h22 engine with a b series tranny.

@builtrex race a bone stock k20 swapped CRX and see who wins. its not the extra gear, its the shorter gear ratios i was talking about. and a GSR motor stock makes ~140whp 110tq. a stock k20a2 is ~180whp 135-140tq. my k20a2 made 184/148.
i see k20 swapped CRX's with bolt-ons running mid to high 12's. is that what your CRX runs?
you know bolt-ons to a k, and have it tuned, they can easily see 220whp? some see 230whp. no B can see that, that easily. so come acros a k swapped CRX and let me know.
@joescivic ,, yes my daily driver crx boltons gsr,,, with my new slicks i just purchased will run mid to high 12's the day i go back to the track mark my words will have vids up then,,i have already gone over 106 mph in the quarter with it running mid 13's on stock 13 inch all season 175-70 tires,,,just mounted my 22.5 x 8 x 13 brand new MnH drag slicks,and going from a 2.45 60 foot to 1.8- 1.9 will easily put the car right where it belongs in the mid to high 12's,,,

EG is the 92-95 JDM hatch, and then the other "EG" is the EG8, which is the DX and LX sedan. the EX sedan is an EH9. the 92-95 coupes are EJ's like you said though, as well as the 96-00 hatches and coupes, minues the 99-00 Si which is an EM1.
everyone just likes to call the 92-95 hatches EG, and the 96-00 EK.

@SpecVchild try putting the B against a K-swapped car. same car, same weight, and same driving skills. of course stock vs stock, the K will win (against all B's). now give the B the same power as the K, and i will bet my life on it that the K will win. ive done it against cars 100lbs lighter than mine, and with h22's and full bolt ons against my 00 coupe with a k20a2 and just intake and header on a JDM ECU. also beat a GSR swapped coupe with i/h/e/type-r cams tuned.

K's make more power to the wheels also. just like an h22 with 200 crank HP. they make about 160whp. a k20a2 with 200 crank HP, makes ~180whp. the K is still faster than an H too. ive done these races against B's making slightly more power than me, even B20 VTEC's. i still won

and i have gone 10's. I was testing a different gear combo and found out it didnt work lol.
