my puppy always wants food and even if she is full lol i taught her how to sit shake ur hand, demand a snack, lie down, sleep and play. she has very difficult times with the 3 last ones and i never teach her on the week ends thats her fun days and 3 or 4 days during the week days. i dont want to make her feel like she was born to train. sometimes she dissapoints me and when im asking her to shak sit or something she stairs and winks lol

@jonasnjennlove i had him sit next to me and i told him "stay" then threw out his favorite treats. if he went for it i would correct him by holding him and reminding him of the "stay" command. eventually after a couple 5 min sessions he got the hang of it. if the dog lost interest in the treats and stop listening to you then its time to end the training and start a new day. 5 mins is good IMO

depends how old it is mate. is it sleeping out side yet? and u might wanna kno becuase its a terrier breed its harder to potty train. ever other aspect of training is simple. iv got a 5 month old red nose pit, and she knows like 8 commands but i havnt been able to potty train her. but i dont mind coz she sleeps out side and goes on the grass anyways.

i just got a 14 week old UKC bluenose. the best way to potty train em is by using a plastic crate. supervise them while they are out of crate, correct them if they do pee, and bring them outside immediately. When they are in the kennel, they are less likely to pee/poop inside the crate, as they dont want to sit in it all day. hope this helps! helped me..

pitbulls are not angry dogs! they love people and are naturally very friendly with people. the only thing to be aware of is they do have a strong prey mentaility, so if you have a cat or a small dog make sure that the pitbull is socialized with the animal at an early age and it's advisable not to let the smaller snimal wrestle and play with the pit unsupervised just to prevent accidents.

but they are wonderful dogs as long as you treat them right and train them as you would any other animal =]

A pitbull can kill a full grown man show me a jack russel or toy poodle that can do that. Ive been bit by an over protective chiwawa and it gave me a scratch. if it was a pit i could be dead. I believe pitbulls are territorial by nature. If a child throws a ball over a pit owners fence there could be a LOT of trouble. A jack russel might put a puncture hole in their jean leg.
