@PlebeianCringe Hey, this video was made a while back so I don't remember how I had the knob positioned. It depends on the signal level but typically I'd have it anywhere from 75% to 100%. If your signal is distorting I would tone the knob down a bit. Turn all the other oscillators and noise off and start with the external knob at 0 and then slowly turn it up until the signal is audible but before it distorts.
@mountainsandthetrees Yes, that's what I do at the beginning of the video (you can hear the radio being processed and no keys are being pressed). You just have to set the envelope gate to on/external.
@n3bsvid Thanks for the reply! That's excellent news. I've been looking at one of these for awhile and the plan is to run it in a loop in line with my guitar effects, running my guitar through it when desired, as well as stand-alone use. Glad to know it'll work as such. Huh-zah!
@mountainsandthetrees Hey no problem. Also if all you want is a moog filter to process audio with check out the MF-101 moogerfooger. It's basically a moog low pass filter in a pedal. Good luck and thanks for watching!
@n3bsvid The Moogerfoogers are tempting, but I'd also like the whole synth. I've seen it can do a variety of sounds, and I think it'd be great for recording as well.
Man, this is masterpiece. Also it's very Daft Punkish.

I'm having trouble processing the audio through my Voyager without distorting it. How far do you have the external audio input knob twisted?

Is there a way to plug something into the external output and have the Minimoog OS affect the signal without having to hold down a key?

@mountainsandthetrees And by ext output, I meant ext input.

Very imaginative! Too funny, when I heard "Decarie, Ville Marie" ... a fellow Montrealer! Good stuff.
