ok lets stop using OP and be more specific: whats wrong with the famas is it's accurate only because its recoil is predictable, like the ak where its mainly upward recoil, so its easy to counter it, what kills people is the rof, cause its basically a full auto mw2 famas, the aug could match the famas if it didnt have the recoil. now there is only 1 reason why the 74u is "overpowered" thats b/c its a smg when it should really be an ar so you have the mobility of an smg with the power of an ar

Yeah, SMGs in real life are good at close range, and fire more quickly. The assault rifles on the other hand fire more slowly, but are deadly at any range, and are more accurate.

Famas speed,power,at close range ads is not needed,good aim on the other hand the ak47 slow, powerfull,not good at ads or close range hip fire unless you are useing steady aim but who uses that and the bullets you fire go all over the place and most of the time you fire the ak47 if feels like you are trying to steer a plane with no help so if you like looking at the sky or picking daiseys of the floor make the ak47 your gun but if your like me use the famas to get the job done

The ak47 is not better than the famas are you mad the famas is like an smg at close range you dont need to look down the sight and its recoil is from left to right not up and down like the ak47 so at long range you will be looking at the sky or the floor not where you should be aiming and another thing is that the famas fire rate is a lot faster so if the other guy aims at you at the same time the ak47 is slow so expect to die if your an ak47 guy and that is why i think the famas is a beast

Only thing OP IMO is rapid fire and G11 a little. Other than that, the guns are all great and compete with each other equally. I'm not the guy who has 80000 kills w/one gun and 1000 w/all the others. I use ALL of the assault rifles. You slap any gun in my hand, I'm still going to get the same score. that's when you know, IMO, that a game's balanced. When the weapon doesn't dictate how well a player does. AK47, commando, m16, famas, aug, galil, mpl, mp5, I rape w/em all.

Famas is my favorite weapon. But something is strange in the gun stats. There you can see that Famas is more accurate than AUG but that is not true. Famas has a lot of kick, different from AUG.But I thing this problem can be solved using the steady aim perk.

I think that the Famas is a scrub gun; no offense to any of its users.

It has a ridiculous rate of fire and the recoil is very slight. I find that its only drawback is using it for longer shots, at least with the iron sights.
