If anything practicing a style like techno would give your music more direction expanding creative thinking while helping u understand the foundation of sound itself.
And who's to say his techno would sound like everyone else's anyways...
u can make electronic music just as dynamic and complex as classic so I don't see how he would be "limiting" himself.
Just because it's techno doesn't mean there isn't brass or strings. I'm not trying to sound like an ass or anything, I'm just lover of all music and If he wants to expand his creativity let him... don't talk him out of it...

The lows feel quite low, but the style of music sometimes leans toward that, so I can't really critique anything negative here. It's a very melodic and smooth mix. Big kudos on a job well done. :)

I wouldn't recommend it dude. You don't want to limit classical to the limitations of techno. Believe me, you're better off with just classical.
