  • if I was that Loris I'd shit myself!

  • anyone see the documentary from the BBC? amazing!

  • These are not pets - anyone who wants one should have a look at some of the clips of the illegal trade in lorises and the horrible conditions they live in and the way they are treated. But more than that - they are WILD and they are ENDANGERED and please please please don't think of them as pets, anyone who buys one is just worsening the illegal and cruel trade in them. If you want to know more about it the recent BBC Natural world doc on them shows a little of the trade. Horrifying.

  • They are wild animals end of story, and if you dont know the difference between wild and pets, you should be in the PET TRADE. Ignorant People.

  • Please people join me and end the illegal pet trade. This is wrong and every one of us knows it. We think we understand animals but we dont. The truth is they don't have a voice and we of all people forcefully putting words into their mouths like " he's happy because his arms are raised" is wrong. Please in the name of the lord flag this video. Just a moment of your time can help save thousands of innocent animals from extinction. So if you really want love the face on this cute animal.

  • please go to nocturama. org to find out more about the plight of the slow loris

  • Please please please DON'T even think about getting one of these as a pet. They are nocturnal; they should not be sat in a bright light for people to tickle them and say 'aww, it's so cute'. Before it comes to you as a pet it will have been through hell: taken from its natural solitary life, trapped in a tiny cage or box, tossed around, picked up by its ears or legs, and been left for days in hot, cramped places. Wild animals belong in the wild, and if you have any compassion you have to agree!

  • Actually the BBC made an interesting documentary on Slow Loris. Google for jungle gremlins of Java.

It also turns out Slow Loris stink pretty bad.

  • If you want a cute pet, how about a puppy, not a wild animal. There aren't many left and we should be protecting them :(

  • What the fuck is up with all of this hate? They aren't stabbing the animal. They're tickling it, the animal isn't suffering or in pain, and actually seems to be enjoying the tickling. I can understand being upset about how these animals can be pets, but don't bitch about the people who have them as pets, that are UNAWARE of the animals being illegally trapped for pet trade.

  • @FaithNicholyn actually when they aise there arms like that it is a sign that it is feeling threatened. fact

  • @FaithNicholyn we are not saying hes abusing it we are saying that millions of people are watching this and saying 'oh hes so cut i want one as a pet' which is fuelling illegal pet trades and slowly killing these animals off in the wild

  • This is so sick can you belive theese people are making money off this video please if you have any care for animals give it to a proffesional organisation who will help it in any way possible.

  • Worrying that the owners seem to be enjoying the media attention and making more videos. As do many other Loris owners.Ive seen videos with lemurs, monkeys and other wild animals as pets aswell. Even if the western world listens i hope the other nations who have watched these videos take note. Look at the trade in rhino horn as an aphrodisiac as a reason not to have these as pets people!

  • BBC - Natural World - Jungle Gremlins of Java

  • These poor naive people where told - it was born in a "loris nursery". Astonishingly they believed them and bought it not knowing any of the reality of its origin.

  • It looks as if others saw the programme on BBC 2 on Wednesday night exposing the exploitation of these rare and beautiful animals. It was heartbreaking to watch. Please, please You Tube do not encourage such cruelty by allowing such videos to be uploaded thus creating even a greater demand for this endangered species.

  • he's not beating the thing he's tickling it ahaha relax

  • Please search bbc webiste for jungle gremlins . Interesting documentary about these fascinating creatures and why they are not pets.

  • @skillcosby88 You sicken me with your ignorant attitude to these endangered animals. Grow up, the animals on this planet are not there to entertain us! However, I would be prepared to make an exception, I think it would be a lot of fun to lock you in a small froom with a really hungry lion. Now that's an entertaining thought. Or with a hive of really angry wasps? Yes, wasps first, then on into the hungry lion room. Anyway, I digress, you are an idiot.

  • @GloriaFlangerella I understand this is an emotianal cause but we must educate theese people on the slow loris otherwise it will only end in an argument, but if we do educate them they may convert to our side, we must stop this cruelty even though this animal looks happy it dosn't mean it hasn't been treated badly in the past.

  • I am so appalled at this video. It is sick to consider these beautiful creatures as a pet. I hope you live in eternal shame for your actions; in helping bring the potential extinction of these creatures in the wild. The inhumanity and total heartless actions of the illegal pet traders to bring this and other Slow Loris's abroad for pets, is a disgrace!! YOU TUBE BAN THESE CLIPS!!

  • @skillcosby88 - what good are they if humans cant entertain themselves with them - humans are not the be all and end in this world, it would be good if you considered that. we actually do not have the right to destroy in order to a"amuse" ouselves. Educate yourself.

  • the international pet trade capturing wild animals for human wims is awful. highlighted by the BBC Natrual World series, a programme about the Slow Lorris and a campaign to save them in the wild can inform. Please dont fuel the cruelty of capturing these animals.

  • Natural World on BBC is what lead me to this video, after watching the program on BBC i almost felt like crying after how they treat Slow Loris selling them as pets in Indonesia! it has to stop!!

  • @rugby543211 I think there should be an internationally recognised complete ban on having these primates as a pet, with serious consequences for those who choose to ignore it.

  • Slow Loris Protected, endangered, and and I nearly forgot venomous.THEY ARE NOT PETS.

  • Absolutely. These animals are not pets and they are been illegally trapped for the pet trade. Better for them to stay in the wild

  • @Edmond137 how are they venomous? O.O

  • @23WhiteFlag because in the wild they eat poinsonous animals. they secrete it in there skin and use it as a natural insecticide, amoungst other things. in captivity they are not able to do this

  • @23WhiteFlag they have a very venomous bite (which can and has been known to kill people) and they also secrete a fairly nasty substance when threatened which when combined with their saliva is also poisonous. Wikipedia's page on venomous animals also gives more info on it f you want the technicalities though!

  • Can believe how many ignorant people have liked this video..its discusting )-:

  • Very sad that people keep these animals as pets, their called wild animals for a reason. Mankind destroy all the beutiful things in the world,

  • think about it this way: wouldn't it be better for slow loris to go extinct and for humans to get enjoyment out of them rather than leaving them alone and not getting any enjoyment? i mean, what good are they if humans can't entertain themselves with these little guys?

  • @skillcosby88 What good are you if all the animals are extinct and cannot entertain themselves with you? You matter as much to nature as any other miserable animal on this planet. You are insignificant, worthless and all that is special about the human race is the fact that we have technology. It is power given to us above any animal on this planet, and a responsibility as well. If we are driving these guys extinct, we deserve to go extinct ourselves.

  • @skillcosby88 So any animal you can't have as a pet is worthless? First off If you kill all wild animals there will be serious consequences for the planet and people and second just because an animal be it a lion a slow loris or a squirrel monkey doesn't make a good pet doesn't mean they are worthless. They are just wild animals that don't make good pets and don't do well in most people's homes/enclosures.

  • @skillcosby88 Loris's are an endangered species and should not be kept as pets also they are illegal pets. Instead of tickling them and saying how cute they are we should be saving them!!!!!

  • @skillcosby88 no, set up sustainable breeding programs if you must have them as pets. The way they are being obtained as pets now is horrible. What gives us the right to take the slow loris away from future generations? just so we can have them as a novelty pet. Its selfish and unfair on this amazing creature.

  • @skillcosby88 WTF? kill yo self

  • It's cute, but just because it's cute doesn't mean I'm going to get one.I have worked with animals in zoo before I respect conservation immensly. For starters while the pet trade is a big player in the loss of animals habitat destruction is 100 fold. There are people out there torturing cats and dogs now and not looking after 'non- endangered' pets at least this one looks like it is being looked after.

  • this video is irresponsible and disgusting. and who ever put this video should be taken down and because of you this video the Slow Loris is not going to be on earth any more and i want let that happen so my calss is doing some thing to stop this indanger animal so please like for my calsses help

  • @MuttleeCrew yo dumbaclot that thing doesnt look to unhappy, go fuck an animal if you love em so much ya fuckn idiot

  • @rtkstyle u r an idiot! These things r endangered! U little prick go rot in a hole, check out a newer movie on slow loris then u will change ur mind ignorant little prick

  • If you want to take them off the endangered species list and improve the conditions in which they are kept, then legalize (and regulate) the ownership and breeding of them. The reason they are treated so badly is because they are traded on the black market which doesn't allow for innovation and humane treatment of animals. You will NEVER stop the inhumane treatment of the Slow Loris while it is illegal. The fact is people want them as pets, and keeping them illegal is hurting more than helping

  • @andrewshooter So how are you going to legalize regulate a venomous mammal and you'll also be needing to remove its teeth?

  • @andrewshooter Basic knowledge FAIL. Slow lorises are next to impossible to breed in captivity. There have been less than 10 recording captive breedings in the last couple of decades. All (not some, ALL)l of the slow lorises in the pet trade are ripped from the wild, that is going to happen whether they are illegal or legal. If it's made legal it will simply encouraging law abiding people to think its OK to keep these as pets. In additions, these animals possess a powerful bite...

  • @Kittycatriona Have you heard of puppy mills? Yeah, make it legal, that will make it better. :(

  • @andrewshooter And also possess venom. They are not suitable pets for the casual pet owner, or for children which is what they would end up being marketed to the way sugar gliders are. Are you also going to suggest we legalize owning deadly venomous reptiles or chimps which are capable of ripping a human limb from limb just to prevent illegal trade?

  • Youtube is nothing but a whore. That they leave this video up when it's been flagged over and over is just more proof.

  • People who want one really need to know about the threat the beautiful loris population is facing.

  • Just watched a whole National Geographic video based off of this Youtube vid. Owner should be ashamed of themselves. If you are born today chances are you in your lifetime you will see the extention of lions, tigers and polar bears.....but as long as I can have one as a pet who gives a s##t! When humans are extinct this planet will be much better off.

  • This footage should be removed before some other fool decides they want one as a pet. There are plenty of homeless domestic animals and humans to be taken care of before taking these little lads away from their habitats. How to stop the poachers & traders?? Stop paying for the animals for a start.

  • @harmonycremona Exactly! And youtube should remove this video since the uploader is obviously too stupid to realize he/she is contributing to the cruelty inflicted to these beautiful animals. These animals are poached, that is breaking the law. wtf is wrong with people! Some people have no morals.

  • So cruel, this should be banned from YouTube save the loris

  • Everyone saying how cute it is.. there correct, but wanting one.. ok.. let me tell you, them people who want one, the conditions in which people sell these is disgusting, in small cages, OH and not to mention, they pull out there damn teeth! People need to become aware of this.. And the soon, the better.

  • THIS VIDEO SHOULD BE TAKEN DOWN.

IT IS ENCOURAGING PEOPLE TO WANT A LORIS AS A PET. WHAT THEY DON'T KNOW IS THAT THESE ANIMALS ARE RIPPED FROM THE WILD, TREATED BARBARICALLY BY THE ILLEAGAL PET TRADE - THIS INCLUDES WRENCHING THEIR FRONT TEETH & CLAWS OUT - WITHOUT PAIN KILLERS ETC TO MAKE THEM SAFE....

ASIDE FROM BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR DEMISE IN THE WILD - IS THAT HOW YOU WANT YOUR FUTURE PET TREATED?

    PLEASE DO NOT BUY THEM!!!!!!!!!

  • @donutbob I'm watching it right now!!!! Bbciplayer. Showing they clip there teeth out & now something about leeches

  • As cute as this is, I implore you to watch the documentary: "The natural world - Jungle Gremlins of Java" The loris is fast becoming an endangered species, and we should help to save them from their worst enemy... Humans. Leave them in the wild and if you want cute, get a puppy or a kitten. :-)

  • You do all realise she will have some sort of license

  • Everyone's saying that there venomous but it's there diet that makes them like this they eat Ants and millipedes both of these contain the chemicals in slow lorris venom obviously they don't get these in captivity also if you've seen the BBC natural world on them this is why they can't be released into the wild

  • you are a son of a bitch is you like or even giv this shit a sub

  • this is horrible natural world on bbc prove this wild slow lois are posions this is horrible down to the person with the lois

  • these guys really need to have a baby instead of treating an animal like one!!!

  • they are endangerd!!!! they are evil

  • they may seem cute but thay are highly idangerd animals so i think they should still live there life out in the jungle or rainforest

  • I'm fairly sure this video was only posted because, honestly, it is incredibly cute. I'm not condoning the fact that these animals are taken out of the wild to be pets but this slow loris doesn't appear to be being mistreated, looks to be kind of enjoying it actually. Yes, it is wrong it is in captivity, and yes lots of people are saying they want one, DOESN'T MEAN THEY'LL ACTUALLY GO OUT AND GET ONE. Please climb out of your own arses, bitching on here isn't going to save endangered species....

  • @coolbeanz1234567 no but it is a good website to try and convert the people uneducated about the loris so they can also help our cause. And if possible make sure that they never ever buy one or take it out of the wild.

  • Watch the documentary - Natural World,Jungle Gremlins Of Java before you think about commenting "how cute"this is.Disgusting!

  • A lot of people have flagged this video as animal abuse! Why hasn't youtube not removed this video yet? Oh yeah that's right...because 9,215,912 views = $£$£$£$£$£$£ -__-"

  • Yeah okay, this video probably is cute to most people, but people need to stop saying that they want one. do any of you who watch this realise that this slow loris does not have any teeth? because people who pet trade cut their teeth off with nail clippers in the pet trade because they are venemous when they pull them out when people buy them. If only you saw how cruel and ill treated those pet traders treat slow lorises and of course other animals, its disgusting. help theses animals survive!!!

  • The Loris species are endagered, this is horrible!

  • i want to kill this bitch

  • @sostekai that's a bit to far instead of swearing which is hard because this is an emotinal cause educate them about the loris otherwise they will just argue back and they'll never convert.

  • Like dolphins, the way that these animals' faces are built lead people to think that they are "happy" or "smiling" and that it is therefore OK to exploit them for the sake of our amusement. We need to listen to the experts and not interpret their behavior based on random uninformed opinions! So many viewers commenting that "this animal is clearly happy" - but they don't have any idea what they are talking about, and these animals are literally dying because of ignorance. So sad!

  • put them back in the wild u assholes... this video is one of the reasons why more are being captured and abused

  • You people who are giggling on this video like ignorant imbeciles...shame on you for your ignorance.

  • @janwalsh1000 Your 100% correct.

  • @MrManolexer @ShanManBagGirl bitch, don't you realize that the illegal pet trade is causing the extinction of these creatures?!?!

  • i wonder if she realizes that the slow loris is trying to kill her in this video..

  • @rachelisinsane That one isn't, when they want to use their venom they bring their arms over their mouth, it's just raising its arms so it can be stroked. I don't agree with the video but aside from the light it doesn't appear to be mistreated at least, though it's still responsible and part of illegal pet trade.

  • @SirSciborg yes it is, cant you see the venom being secreted? those darker brown patches around its armpits.

  • @rachelisinsane The venomous patches are clipped off without anesthetic, using wire clippers or pliers, they are sold by the cage load and many die a slow and painful death due to the illegal pet trade that these "cute little videos" keep alive.

  • I now see that the poster of this video is wired magazine. Surely we can campaign to have them remove it?

  • I'm asking Dmitry Sergeyev to take down this video in support of saving the slow loris. The pet trade of these animals is directly contributing to their extinction as well as causing the extreme, inhumane cruelty that all slow lorises go through to be turned into 'pet material'. Please google BBC Documentary Slow Loris or "Jungle Gremlins of Java" if you want more information.

  • Please do not take these endangered animals as pets, help to save the loris by not buying them as pets, thank you

  • If you are TRUE animal lovers then you will understand that these animals are not for pets and these animals are born to be in the wild and not to be bought as a pet in someones home. I find all the people that have or want one of these as pets, just want them to say "ive got" you do not know anything about them. I am disgusted in the people who would even want one of these, it is heart breaking to ee one of these animals teeth get ripped out without a care. SAVE THE SLOW LORIS!!!

  • you know they are poison

  • i wonder what they taste like

  • The illegal pet trade's demand for cute-looking primates is devastating Indonesia's population of slow lorises. But they are not the only endangered primates you may never have heard of that are already under threat of extinction.

  • It's cute but according to the Natural World show they stink like crazy.

  • people you need to go on bbc iplayer and watch the video about this omg this is so bad people in this world make me sick reallyreally fucking sick

  • This is a call for support to save the Slow Lorris. I recommend (though it is heartbreaking) Natural World: Jungle Gremlins of Java to find out more about this remarkable and severely endangered creature - the only mammal that produces toxins but whose very cuteness means the exotic pet trade is wiping it out. Please get behind Dr Anna Nekaris as she tries to save this animal - I'm going to contact her and I know she would love your support

  • The first time i saw this video, i had never heard of a slow loris, but immediately fell in love with them. This is probably the case for most people. But after researching them & seeing how they are made into pets, I don't think anyone with a heart could buy one. This video is encouraging people who are naive about the life of the loris to want one as a pet. If you really do want one, please research it, i guarantee you'll change your mind.

BBC iPlayer - Natural World - Jungle Gremlins of Java

  • @JamiBanter i agree i have recently watched a program about Loris,s and found it quite upsetting

  • oi i hope you know what crulty people like u fule. 1000's apon 1000's of thease creatures get ripped from there natural habital every year so people like u can have them as pet. does yours have teeth nope theres your answr becouse some twat cut them out with a pair of nail clippers. your no better than the shit coming out of a dogs arse.

  • this is an irresponsible video as it may well encourage other people to illegally obtain one of these internationally protected and endangered animals.

  • Before thinking of buying on of these cute animals please check bbc iplayer for the natural world programme first!

  • You're a freak even obtaining it for your own devices and to put it on here and get plenty of hits, how would you like your teeth pulled out freak?

  • these animals are actually the only poisonous primates on the planet. Their poison has been known to kill people...

  • And has your/this loris had it's teeth savagly pulled out as well, causing pain and suffering, Probably, are you American probably, are you irrasponsible for putting this out there, yes. Vile & disgustiung, that's what owners of pet slow loris's are VILE VILE VILE have you got kids, lets rip their teeth out and put them in the Jungle...same difference just the other way around except there are 6 billion people and only a hand full of slow loris

  • This is disgusting exploitation of a wild endangered mammal taken out of it's natural habitat by idiot humans for their a.) financial profit & b.) entertainment. There is no end to the cruelty, selfishness, & short sightedness of the human species!

  • It is easy to see why such innocent delight has been watched by 10 million people, but there is a dark side to this video: demand for lorises (and other primates) as pets is driving them to extinction. Please sign the petition urging Youtube to pull this clip and support organisations working to protect primates and their natural habitat. Be part of the solution, not the problem! Thank you.

  • AAW! Theys so cute, i want to buys all of thems, right now!

  • dislike this vid or your part of what is wrong with this world i hope every one that buys these get bittin in the head cuz your all sick fukers tht fuel the black market pet trade i hope it gets you in your sick lil head and it rots wot lil brain u have left this video makes me sick and the uploader should be proud too know you ve put another species in our sights and humans are gunna be the biggest threat not too mention there habbitats are diminishing fuk the uploader fuk who thinks its cute

  • This video is encouraging people to want a "cute" slow loris as a pet. Slow loris's are not captive bred, so all "pet" loris's have been illegally obtained from the wild jungle of Indonesia, where they are supposed to be protected by local and international laws, have their front teeth removed by pliers or clippers so they cannot deliver a toxic bite and then sold to people who do not know how to look after them properly. It is encouraging the extinction of this species and should be removed!

  • Guys, watch this BBC documentary: Jungle Gremlins of Java. It tells you all about the blight of the little Loris. If you love the little critters, don't ask your parents to get you one. Support their conservation efforts.

  • Mr. Shepherd. The trade is now expanding into the US and Europe, with illegally smuggled lorises reported in the United Kingdom. But many do not survive the journey. "The only reason the loris isn't biting the person holding it in the video is because it has had its teeth ripped out with pliers," The teeth are removed because the loris, listed as vulnerable to extinction...can deliver a toxic bite. The creature is then effectively doomed because of infection. Most don't last very long after that."

  • These lovely creatures are being tortured and having their teeth smashed out just so they can be sold to people as pets. Please stop hurting these animals and let them live out their lives as God intended them to, in the wild.

If you want something cute and furry to tickle, give a home to an unwanted cat. There are thousands of them that need a loving home badly.

  • disgusting. would you want your teeth pulled in a dusty back alley? that is exactly what happens to these animals when they are sold to thoughtless, idiotic fools who cannot grasp the idea of keeping a wild animal in the WILD.

  • God shut the Fuck up. the video will NEVER BE REMOVED. GTFOVER IT.

  • @Sm0kahontaaas get over YOURSELF.

  • This video is irresponsible and disgusting. That ignorant fool has not idea how cruel it is to keep an animal like that.

  • @MuttleeCrew I agree totally with that ..it is irresponsible!

  • @MuttleeCrew I bet you own a cat or a dog

  • @tommythmpson I own dogs. The difference is, they are domestic animals and they weren't taken away from their mothers by poachers and they didn't have their teeth ripped out of their mouth. Also, a loris is a nocturnal animal, bright lights damage their eyes. Educate yourself.

  • 0:09 its possessed

  • I wish I could save all the loris there are in the world.

I wish the loris weren't exotic creatures or poisonous.

I wish the loris weren't so cruelly treated.

I wish I could have one if it weren't for all of the above.

    Save the loris....

  • Just gonna add to the growing number of comments purely because the more comments the better with something like this. Every time somebody sees this video and says "i want one" it effectively lessens the chance of an endangered animal like this being protected in the wild. Instead of wanting one as a pet, people should want to enjoy it as a wild animal in it's natural habitat.

  • Didn't you see the Natural World episode? It showed this video! These animals ARE ENDANGERED.

  • To object to this click the flag beside Share, Go down to Select a reason, Click then select Violent or repulsive then move over to Animal abuse.

  • People like you make me sick! A dog or a cat is not good enough for you is it!! You have to try and be better than everyone else and find an animal that is endangered in the wild, just because its cute!! Now people watching this will want one themselves and more will be taken from the wild and sold illegally to idiots like you who don't know the first thing about these amazing creatures. Just stop now you disgusting people!!

  • It's sad somebody can't post a sweet video of an animal without some psychopaths seriously thinking of getting one. The BBC programme was very upsetting, the pet trade for these animals is booming, and videos like this can't be doing them any favours. You need to post a responsible message in the description or take it down, these are not supposed to be domestic "cuddly" animals.

  • Pet for extinction...! I wonder the trade is fair at all....!

  • be responsible all u fucker as a human, such animals are what we entitled to protect to, dun make a fun with such crucial matter..

  • Comment removed

  • Disgusting.

  • This video is inadvertantly causing the demise of this species in the wild by encouraging mis-guided and simple minded people, who do not know any, better to want one, thus encouraging an illegal pet trade!!!

  • @davehilliard7 shut the fuck up...

  • @davehilliard7 the thing looks like he likes it. he has a wittle boner.

  • You know YouTube my whole class + teacher is going to send you a damn letter about it and I am going to make you get this video OFF the web and ones that are linked to it.

  • No, just no. To echo all the recent comments, this animal is critically endangered. To get them out of the wild into the illegal pet trade is incredibly cruel. Search for BBC's Natural World if you really want to see how horrendous the trade is and how critically endangered they are.

  • @pcataylor I watched it allready.

  • Comment removed

  • threats* Astounded1231

  • OMG GET THIS VIDEO OF AIR! YOU KNOW THIS IS ADVERTISING EVERYONE TO GET ONE?! THE WHOLE OF MY CLASS AGREES AND IN TV SERIES THEY BRANG THIS VIDEO ON AND SAID IT WAS WRONG!

  • Comment removed

  • This is a wild animal and should not be a pet! Anyone saying that they want one has no respect for animals!!! This video sucks!!!

  • Please remove this.

I cried when I watched it on tv.

    I am almost crying now.

    Just get this removed.

Everyone dislike, spread the word to save them. If we work together we can at least help a tiny bit. These poor creatures are suffering. They get their teeth pulled out with pliers. Just save them.

    Please.

  • this video is sick, why the fuck cant the world get together and stop the illegal pet trade,we are pushing everything towards exstinction just for our own selfish needs, one day soon we will wipe everything out and the only thing left will be human, and what a sad sad place this once beautiful earth will be.

  • These animals are endangered and shoud NOT be sold as pets. Take this video off youtube, and save a species from going extinct!

  • Youtube needs to remove this video to prevent it from encouraging the illegal pet trade in these beautiful and rare creatures. Why is there no 'flag as inappropriate' option for irresponsible videos of endangered animals? This needs to be done asap!

  • This is a disgraceful video, these are a protected species.

  • We need to stop the illegal pet trading in their homeland if we want to save them

  • This is just purely horrible, yes they may be cute, and all that but they are ENDANGERED! I think we should aim to help save them not endanger them any more!!They pull out their teeth with PLIERS or NAIL CLIPPERS!how would you like it?because im guessing no one in the world would like that happening to them!!Also i think its barbarack because its just as bad as killing them! they all need to be back home, in the wild, where they belong!THEY SHOULD NOT BE PETS!They are innocent leave them alone

  • LISTEN PEOPLE, this video makes people want to have one as a pet, in the ilegal pet market they treat slow lorris's very badly, they take them from there habitat, kill there mother, then pulls there teeth out so they dont bite. Its time we do something, i know most sellers are poor and they have no choice but they should not treat them in that way.

  • oi you dipshits the slow lorris is endangered and the only way this person could of got one is by the black market. the slow lorris in the african black market are litteraly treated like crap, they get shoved in boxes and flung around.

  • I agree with the above comments. The Natural World documentary highlighted just how cruel and inhumane these creatures and other animals were treat by traders in the markets of Indonesia.Ducks stuffed in cages all piled on top of each other in unbearable heat with no water or food it was painfull to watch. Perhaps the people who want the Loris as pets ought to get poisoned by its toxins and see if they still want one then ! G M

  • Well, despite the concerns, this appears to be a very HAPPY little slow lorris!

  • this animal should be in the wild.if you want a pet ......GET A DOG !

  • THIS IS VERY BAD. SLow Loris are endangered! They are stolen from the forests of Indonesia and sold for $25. They are very poisonous. venom excrets from under there arms and mixed with their salvia becomes a toxin - FACT see the BBC Iplayer for the prog on Slow Loris.

THey also smell which again is another defense.

Please do not get one as a pet they belong in the forest. Or the illegal trade in these creatures will continue.

  • I came to this video to try and spread the word about the loris' plight, and it's so wonderful to see that so many others are already doing so. The info about them needs to be spread to other videos so that everyone gets the message.

  • Youtube blocked one of my vids cos it had a tiny bit of copyrighted material on yet they wont ban this video! This encourages illegal trapping of an endangered species. Then again Sony and the record companies dont give a shit about anything that doesnt lose them a few quid!

  • Comment removed

  • Save the Loris

  • Please remove this video! This is a very sad little creature who is on the endangered list. When sold as pets, they have their teeth pulled out! People need to act more responsible.

  • a very delightful creature........ unless, of course, he happens to be eating you.......

  • I wish those hands were doing that to me...

  • This level of exposure needs to be turned into a good thing! If you haven't already, go to International Animal Rescue website.

  • so beautiful, but she shouldve stayed in the wild where she belongs... x

  • I wouldn't say that this is cruelty, the person who is keeping the animal is just poorly educated, but presume that people having them as pets would increase their population! You honestly think that they will breed in people’s living room's, that’s quite funny. I really love your lack of intelligence. And finally you say that the loris "looks happy"? I thought it was only humans and possibly chimpanzees that could consciously show facial emotions.

  • It's burning his eyes, he is nocturnal.

  • i want one! where can i get one???

  • @dittbub you dont want to get one, in the pet trade market they kill the mother then they pull the babies teeth out and then treat them like toys, they are often given back because of the smell they make, they are also the only poisenous mamal in the world and they are endangoured. hope this helps :)

  • They are vemonous...

  • Dear Dmitry,

Cute though you may find your loris, this is an irresponsible video as it may well encourage other people to illegally obtain one of these internationally protected and endangered animals. If you want a pet get something that does not fit this description. Having watched the documentary 'Jungle Gremlins of Java' on BBC1 I am disgusted that you would participate in this cruel trade.
