  • i drive highway service for canada post and have had to deliver 2 of these this year. Honestly, pics dont do it justice ... it is goddamned enormous! the first time I grabbed the box I thought it was for a bbq smoker or something because it took up 1/4 of a mono

unless you are truly an "enthusiast" who NEEDS to extreme airflow and space, I would not reccomend this case for the average joe lol

  • please watch my entry on "what would you do for a Cosmos II?" for me to win this case. the vid is on my channel.. thank you..

  • This case has one major flaw - finding CM fans in your country that are made for it. This is typical of Cooler Master. It took them a year and a half to make their 200mm available for retail after releasing cases that use them. I think that's why I ditched them for Thermaltake.

  • I just ordered that case!!!!!! ^^

  • Wish the case was smaller and not so pricey!

  • Music ?

  • O_O one day...

  • just picked one up!!

  • Yeah seriously, you guys should stop saying cases should include USB 2 to 3. USB 3 has been out for like, 4 years now and if you're going to buy a case, you're most likely going to get a new system with it.

  • sorry but $350.00 is nothing for a case of this quality .. while Lian li goes for over $500.00 with less features, and just as sturdy .. jus sayin ^^

  • I would have ordered this today, only my postwoman took an arrow to her knee, Thus making it it too heavy for her to carry.

  • mars 2 will fit in?

  • @buzz9961 Not to be mean but do your research and you can answer your own question.

  • @buzz9961 Hell yea it will. It will fit any GFX in the future.

  • That case looks nice, but is far to big, far to heavy (should be made of aluminum), way to plasticky and impractical. I think its stupid.

  • I can see why they call this the Cosmos, this thing is HUGE!!! "That's what she said!"

I had to say it before someone else did. lol

  • This thing is 704mm (27.7") high and won't fit under my desk! No only that you also got the opening door clearance on top of it. Think, unless you have a lot of room for this case it's going to be very cumbersome especially if you have to pull out the case from a tight spot to open the door every time. No reviewers seem to criticize critical elements of these products such is this which kind of bugs me, they know it would be a deal breaker. Anyways thanks for letting to post here.

  • Cosmos 2? More like Costmost 2!

    Hehe...anyone?

    *forever alone*

  • @theloneplant lol

  • i can see the situation whereby I'm removing, cutting, or drilling parts of the case to meet my water cooling requirement. i might as well go for caselabs which has not much difference in the price. :)

  • this case is obviously inspired from caselabs and corsair. sad, it still has rooms for improvement.

  • @quikjeremz89 I doubt it. Corsair still using the brick design. I think Corsair stole there style from Lian Li.

  • if you buy this and you dont put enthusiast ram, video card, cpu, cpu cooler ur a dumbass. If the case could talk and you put a bunch of shit in it it would be like "DA FUCK IS THIS?!"

  • I don't know what everyone is crying about the price tag. This is a huge case with excellent quality!! This is why we have flimsy cases everywhere because people would rather save a buck than pay for quality!

  • this case is perfect u dont need a window for it cause well that case is that good that if u show it off ppl are going to know u got some damn good parts in it. it speaks for its self

  • cooler master should do a cosmos mini for around 150$

  • I love the fact that Hardware Canucks always show how a build looks like in the cases they review. This is an enormous help to us consumers when choosing a case. Thanks for the help guys.

  • @0peppers I couldnt agree more!

  • Nice case but I've learned not to buy cases with sliding parts because they wear out quickly.

  • $350 is nothing...i just bought a full tower Lian Li worth $790

  • Great case the water cooling options sell it self, but most gamers want a super crazy LED case though.

  • @shalom1181 Most "gamers" dont want a super crazy LED case, why would you think that? XD

  • @TheDJVAQ lol where have you been?, look at every case on u tube they are all clear panel with LED fans and cathodes.I get so many compliments on my super LED df-85. i do like that cool master case though.

  • @shalom1181 Cathodes arent trending at all :P And i wouldnt consider fan LEDS "super crazy" ;)

  • @TheDJVAQ Point is, without a clear panel u cant show off parts, when i first bought my 6990's i wanted the world to see.

  • Really lovely case might get it but i am a bit disappointed that there is no window panel :( cant show off all the beastly parts that you put inside.

  • Sexiest case ever made. DAM GOOD CASE alright,

  • The best case ever!

  • Criticizing the lack of a USB3-USB2 adapter?

Right, like I'm gonna spend $350 on a case but can't afford high-end components...

  • @Chipicao999 I was thinking the exact same thing. If I were buying this, It would be for an extreme system, with all the bells and whistles; not for aged hardware.

  • @Chipicao999 more like at $350, why the fuck would you want a USB3 to USB2 adapter.

  • I want a Cosmos mid tower, it's beautiful but too big (and expensive)

  • 350 Bucks for that shit. Might as well buy a Lian Li. Antec 1100 ftw. good feature and good pice.

  • @91Megabill

    Dream on.

Its not about the price,if u saw this case in person it would make u feel less valuable as a human being xD

  • it's actually a 350 euro case so it's about 450 USD

  • @hallurs

    Even more ridiculous.....

  • At the three hundred and fifty USD price point you could get a much better enclosure. Though it is nice, its not nice enough to warrant such a steep entry fee.

  • At that price point it should come with a couple more fans as well as cable sleeving. Nice case though.

  • Really Cooler Master? At 350$ you still can't sleeve the fan wires? Corsair does that at 100$...

  • That's not a case, that's a closet!

  • The doors are so cool. I hate removing panels.

  • No support for mini-itx boards? :(

  • That is an awesome case. I like it better than my 800D

  • Very sexy!

  • Looks like a very good design, but Cooler Master shit the bed big time on the CPU cutout. Why the hell did you not notice this. Take a look at 7:26 min into the video gents. Right there you can see the CPU cutout is as useless as a dick flavored lollipop because you still have to take the whole motherboard out to install a new cpu heatsink retention bracket. Fail CM, just fail. And fail on you hardware canucks for focusing on the fucking PSU screws.

  • @penisculatus

Yeah, this review seems to have missed several massive flaws......

  • @penisculatus Agreed.

  • Comment removed

  • plastic on $350 case ? nahh come on, why don't they make it from full aluminium.

  • well if the chassis didn't have a hinge, and was placed inside a small space, you would still have to to move the chassis anyways. So, hinge= good anyway you cut the cheese.

  • I was watching a couple of videos on RED's site. One of the DPs featured had something like 24TB of storage on his work station, plus another 20-something TB of storage in other towers on his equipment cart. Guy worked with RED's cameras that capture 4K video at 2GB per minute. I think that's the kind of hardcore user who would benefit from something like this, not your average gamer.

  • when we look back 10 years from now at these massive cases and foot-long,10 pound gpu's and were gonna say " i cant believe i thot this was cool". think about it. This thing is absolutely ridiculous.

  • Wow, not only are you the first to make a review about this wonderful case. But the most professional looking as well, in terms of clarity, explanations, suggestions, and visualizations. Kudos to you guys.

  • Stopped viewing after $350. That's insane.

  • @GuMpAkC

True. Lian Li does make better cases for that price point.

  • @MidNiteR32 I bought an 800D on sale for $189.00 on Newegg about 3 weeks ago. Does everything this does but better. Sure the front panel and power panel is awesome but c'mon!

  • @GuMpAkC bought one too on newegg but for 200$

must say the case is amazingly big and weighty, but for 400$ seriously?

  • @GuMpAkC The air cooling performance on the 800D is marginal at best. Lian Li is the real competition at this price point.

  • @crazymelkor I water cool everything.

  • Welcome Viewer number 301 we've been expecting you.

  • i love you guys !!keep the amazing work

  • Asom vid Guys But i would like to know why arent there any vids on anything Aerocool Cases???..........As an Enthusiast i would like to see how my Case wraps up ...Aerocools BGS-B Evil Edition????

  • does it come in white?

  • hardwarecanucks should really expand the reviews they do, since they make the best! please do motherboard, GPU PSU etc reviews aswell! :D

  • A quality review, as always. Love it.

  • Thanks for the review, very nice loved all the details!!!

  • Meh

  • The only problem I see is the $350 price tag.

  • @RATSHADY i agree $100 to over priced for as beautiful it is but come on thats insane!

  • @RATSHADY 350 Euros

1 Euro=1.303 USD, so it's around 450 is dollars US.

  • @RATSHADY

The problem is your wallet... not the price.

  • @RATSHADY For 350$ You could get a hooker for one night.

  • @RATSHADY And it's height too....New desk!

  • @RATSHADY it better come with a mother board for that price..

  • @RATSHADY its 480$ where i live :[ but ima buy it anyways :D

  • @schreech7202 $350 on newegg

  • @kmanx they dont sell to my country so yeah.

  • I thought it was a 180mm front fan? :O

  • at this price, all the hdd bays should have been hot swap.

  • Coolermaster needs to come out with a successor to the ATCS 840, and hopefully cheaper than this, because at this price a TJ07 would be a better choice for watercooling and modding

  • this is going to be my new htpc....

  • oooo $350 ouch but its so nice

  • Beautiful and well thought out case. Price is far too much. $350 is just ridiculous for a case.

  • Another awesome review from HWC.

Now this is a case. Coolermaster ain't playin.

  • Such an awesome review. I can't believe how much work you put into it. Amazing!

  • Much cheaper than the really high end Thermaltake and Lian-Li cases. Gonna have to keep this case in mind for sure.

  • Simply a brilliant design

  • Is the announser russian?

  • @makeWatcher Yes I am! :D

  • Looks neat but those fan controller/LED cables looks like a bloody mess to deal with.

  • @asharp72 - Seriously. Goddamn...

  • It's also a dam expensive case XD

  • 1 Person is smaller than the case...

  • its a nice case... too expensive tho

  • best case so far

  • This case looks very ugly. 800D looks 1000x better and it looks like it has more interior space too. This is just my opinion. All cases with curves make me puke.

  • Bye,Bye Alienware!

Was Thinking Of Buying An Alienware! But!! I Think I Just Change My Mind!

  • @THEOLDBULL666 If you were seriously considering purchasing an alienware computer please.... please do some research before buying this case. Your knowledge must not be that great if you ever came across the thought of purchasing an Alienware

  • @PcWizTechProductions The reason why I want to buy a alienware is for the tower case is beautiful. but I know it's very expensive, gives many problems with the lights. and do not have enough space for cooling etc, etc .. and i know with the money I going to spend on a alienware. I can built one by my self with better motherboard, cpu, pus, gpu. but i can not find a tower that I like, the only one is corsair 600t! this day they announced the new Cooler Master, I fell in love with this new tower

  • @THEOLDBULL666 Alrighty. Take a look at corsair white tower or the cooler master haf x. Both great cases. Have fun!

  • Man this case popped up on 3 different channels I'm subbed to

  • suck it 800D

  • i'm gonna get this for a mini-itx build w/ intel atom..

  • Great case .. and a great review ;)

  • i thought this case was going to stay discontinued .. nice to see they brought it back..

but not 2 nice cause i bought a graphite 600d 2 mos ago. probably for my next build..

  • still using that old classic subscribe button lol

  • My god, thats bawss !

  • Wow! This case is so beautiful my jaw drops! I once saw the prototype of Cosmos II in July 2011 but this final product looks 100% better! Aluminum sidepanels looks freaking amazing! To bad I already have the 800D and I am sceptical that this case would fit under my desk.

  • I'm getting one!

  • it looks like it has the same flaw as my HAF X, small CPU cut-out for cooler back-plates. THAT was really frustrating to deal with but by no means was it a case-killer. I love my HAF X and the solution is simply to buy your CPU cooler when you get the case. lol great review btw. =) I like side-panel windows though. the area above the fans looks perfect for a window! lol if only i was skilled enough to make one. =/

  • Nice i got a cool master to but this whan says it all!

  • WOW! This is the only case Ive drooled over since i bought my 800D seven months ago. I love the duel radiator support. With my 800D i had to mod it to support a 240 rad for a duel loop solution. well thought out design never thought id see a case bigger than the 800D.

  • Tnx for that review, dam big case... :) Its cool.

  • Really nice editing and I love the shallow DOF glide shots. That being said, as a enthusiast and gamer myself, I can't stand people beating up this case just because the MSRP is $350. Look at the silverstone cases the one that I may have gotten was $500 bucks and didn't support the cooling options and HDD needs that I had to have gotten. Simply put, if you can't afford a over 3K setup, then you sure as hell shouldn't need a case such as this.

I'll be doing a review and giveaways soon. thumbsup!

  • cant stop humm your beutifull background tune, i think its #1

review tune, whare can i find it?

  • very nice case

  • Great case, great review. Big thumbs up and many greetings. FuenfamTag

  • 350$? Shit. I'd rather get a 150$ case, and get a better graphics card. I don't see anyone but those with a bottomless budget, who are building a XL-ATX quad-GPU system, buying this case. Even the Corsair 800D costs 100$ less.

  • @videosurfer69 People who will need such a case will have the dough to spend an additional 150-200$ for a case such as this which will outlast anything. <--- I can afford such a case and was beating my head over in preparation for my LGA2011 build. I needed at least 6HDD bays 8 preffered with LOTS of cooling and support for a 3x120/3x140 or 2x120x,2x140 rads. This case sums it up and I LOVE the look.

  • @videosurfer69 But this is the best case and its big with purpose...

  • Damn this is good

  • For that price they could've at least included a Lock for the side panels, like with the hot swap drives at the front.

  • Comment removed

  • goddamn I want this case...in the middle of building my own gaming rig. Too bad I already have a chassis, the Antec Df-85. If I didn't already have it, I'd go ahead and get this Coolermaster, because I literally cannot see any negatives about it.

  • It looks great. The only thing I don't like is the two top handles. Otherwise, I love it.

  • looks great but for 350.00 just not worth it Id rather spend it on other components

  • make it to $299 and ill buy it. nuff said :P

  • Absolute Near Perfection except for the inclusion of those damnable 4 USB 2.0 in the front panel. Why the hell would Cooler Master demand $350 and not include all USB 3.0 ports? Oh well there's always Lian-Li. Outrageously beautiful though, I have a thing for curves....in a chassis of course.

  • Lol imagine using this for a micro atx. So much space XD

  • @TheEquivalentXchange SPACE!, SPACE I'm in space!

  • @TheEquivalentXchange Why not mini ITX?

  • Agree with yeeyoh, for the same amount of money you can get the Case Labs M8 case which blows this one out of the water...

  • For $350.00 it would have to be one-awesome-case... I don't think this qualifies.. too many of the parts look cheap; fan clips, hard-drive mounts, etc. Nice review though

  • Damn. Looks like my Corsair 800D is going to retire soon :p

  • @seigified I bet this one will blow the 800D out of the water.

  • I think this is the best case i have seen so far...the possibilities.

  • My core i5-2500K, 8G's of Kingston HyperX and Asus Pro Mobo from black friday sales only cost me $250 the case and PSU I got free from Frys. Why the hell could I pay $350 for a case :D

  • @aqwayne Well your build is cheaper for the budget and this case is meant to cool thing big things elegantly compared to my old ft02......well parts like this are suppose to go in this case i7 3970x... 5.00ghz on rampage iv extreme+ 5 water cooling rads....4 gtx 580 or 4 7970 or future gtx 680 ...1500 psu....32 gb ram....cooling all of that while looking good and working great did I tell you if you take good care of this case you or family member can keep this case for the rest of there life! :P

  • @IAMTHEPROCESSOR Actually the free case was a cooler master one that has filters for dust as well. I know that this caters to people who simply want the best, but to me I have a kick ass computer with a CPU still considered the best price/performance wise until Ivy Bridge comes out for $50 less than this case just boggles my mind XD

  • @aqwayne Also 5000 read write pci ssd or raid ssd or 4tb hdds or all of the above with a blueray drive and writer:P

  • @aqwayne All the dust filters also completely keep the dust out case and keeping the all of those part new so you can sell them when th future i9 come out.......not lol

  • jizz in my pants !!

  • This has to be the best review ever... in terms of video editing, composition etc...

    and explanation!!!

    dam! epic!

  • i have a cosmos 1000. This case looks great!! Great review guys!

  • $350? DAMN. cooler master, you know i love you, but damn you know how to sell your brand name and reputation.

  • Jezz... I can only imagine how easy it is for the cable mangement, water cooling setup, etc. I literally just got my new case (Corsair Graphite 600t SE) just a few weeks ago and I'm starting to get jealous of this case! Maybe when I go through like 10 builds with my case I'll save up for something that amazing :)

  • I think this case offers plenty of features and quality for the $350 asking price but it is way overkill for like 96% of custom computer builders

  • $350? nah....

  • WHAT A WEIRD VOICE. GIVING ME HEADACHE. OR THAT GUY HAS A FLU OR SMTHING

  • @killthemall55

he's russian is that what your hearing?

  • With micron mesh filters, COOL

  • I didn't regret paying 299$ for the Corsair 800D, but I'm not sure I would pay 350$ for this one.

  • let's face it,if somebody buying this pricey case, then that person would probably buy a motherboard that already has a usb 3 internal pin. great review btw :D

  • shut up and take my money already!
