A MILITARY EXERCISE BETWEEN MEMBERS OF THE SAME MILITARY ALLIANCE!? THAT IS OUTRAGEOUS! No, it's not. Believe it or not, military exercises between the NATO member states is a very common practice. We had US troops in Latvia joining a military exercise this week. It happens all the fucking time.

@liabatud67 in 2006 congress passed the H.R. bill 5122 (S.B. bill 2766) which granted the president the power to commandeer federal and state national guard troops for use against citizens in a state of emergency. funny thing though, it doesnt matter what it is that causes them to declare a state of emergency or where it happens. so 1 person can die in a mud slide tomorrow in fiji, and they can decalre a state of emergency. of course they would never do such a thing because such a small incident

I do (like the ever patient Chinese) see the potential for profit in the long run for the powers that be. It's not that difficult to see the reasoning behind the term "useless eaters" from such a mindset yet of course I do not concur with that particular choice of words.
I don't believe in "global stagnation" where the seasons are concerned.

Of course you need to work with other countries and their military because terrorism is a global issue, not one country is strong enough to take it down. For example when Russia went to Afghanistan on their own they failed disastrously, but when the ISAF and NATO forces go in together they have a huge success rate with far less casualties. Every country needs to cooperate to combat terrorism. Common sense really.

Notice the Colonel said the Polish were using this as an opportunity to train. He did not say they would be present and helping during an actual emergency. In the late 80's I was station at Ft Knox - we had foreign officers from small countries taking advantage of the training facilities all the time... doesn't mean there is a unit of Polish tankers waiting to subjugate the U.S. populace.
