Genocide is something that Indians did, too. If you want to level this accusation against Europeans, then you have to apply it in all cases. Normal is definitely not normal, nor does he have any understanding of what civilized means.
To be civil doesn't mean when you go to someone's home you take over and make them live in the garage. One that is nicer than what the Europeans did.
My grandparents where encouraged to move here from Norway in the late 1890s, I believe it was just to increase the white population.

Technology is something that Idians sought. When Europeans arrived, they recognized that the gun was superior technology and so were willing to trade for it. It wasn't forced on them.

You need to keep a couple of things in mind, though. The distribution of Indian "nations" at the time of Contact was the result of wars and conquests; none had an inherent "right" to the land they occupied. The Indians were defeated and conquered by a superior people with superior technology, and to the winner go the spoils. That's how it's always been everywhere

How do you know that the Indians were there first? Which ones were there first, too. The pattern of settlement in 1492 was not the same as 1200, or 500 BC. They were "stealing" land from each other for millenia.

And in most cases genocide was something that was carried out by non-whites, and in a much more brutal fashion. Fascists tend to be nationalists, not imperialists. Hitler for example was only interested in reacquiring former German speaking territories and driving out the Slavs from Eastern Europe. He believed that war was an extension of diplomacy, that it should be used for limited political objectives. Which is why the Germans were not ready to go to war in 1939; in fact, the German war industry reached its peak in 1944 when it was way too late.
