  • This shouting music is not fast enofgh, lol lets get the fire back saints.

  • was his fly unzipped???? lol

  • blind leading the blind.

  • Let us pray for them who maybe lukewarm or faithful.. not putting them down. Some are affair to give there all to God.

  • Everyone has a different praise and a study.. Where are our youth? let;s also see the younger set praise God. Ps 150 Let everything!!! Praise ye the Lord!!

  • The problem with people in the church today is the fact that they only look at HALF of what the Bible says about certain things. If you'll read the OT, you'll CLEARLY see that dancing and merriment with music was a visible part of the Hebrew culture. The earliest record of the dance is (I believe) Exodus 15, where, after they came out of Egypt, Miriam (Moses' sister) took a tambourine, and all the women followed with tambourines and with dancing. (Ex. 15:20).

  • David, the greatest worshiper of all time, found himself, leaping and dancing in the presence of the Almighty, as the Ark - the very presence of God, was being brought back to Jerusalem. Of course, all throughout the Psalms, the psalmists give us inclination to believe that dancing was truly a viable form of praise and worship.

  • Dancing is more than just movements of the body, it is something that is felt through the rhythms of the music (whether heard by all, or merely by the dancer). It is an art form that has as much credence today as it has in yesteryear. The Bible says that there is rejoicing in heaven over one lost sinner who repents, and guess what? DANCING is apart of rejoicing!!

  • The word we use most often to denote praise to our God - HALLELUJAH, is derived from a Hebrew word, "Halal" or "Hallel", and loosely translated, means: "to become ridiculously foolish; to leap and twirl; to become boisterous and boastful in adoration to or of someone/something; TO DANCE".

So, my friends, please know your facts before you make a silly statement, such as the one made by our misinformed friend, "NtheNow". Thanks and God bless!

  • What is the name of this church? Is it COGIC?

  • heh, I praise God with or without music, because when I think of the goodness of Jesus and alllll that he brought me from, I can't help but praise him in a dance, a shout, or however these little ole feet move me, ya see I don't mind praisin him, and it doesn't matter where either, it can be home, in a store, at church or whereever, but when you begin to think of his goodness you'll praise him too...

  • the bible says to praise him with the timbrel and dance if we would worry about serving god and not each other we would be better off if god is blessong someone with or without music let god be praised and be lifted up it is up to him the way people praise him and not us

  • NtheNow ...must be Catholic!!!! that explains everything Man come on and take a chill pill people are going to refernce GOD however way they can express themselves that's why He looks @ the HEART

  • When the music stops at the party, don't they stop dancing. Don't the praise dancers in the church stop wth the music? They can't dance without. I agree, some danced to pagan God's until evil spirits took contol. Satan has always conterfeited the things of God. Yes some people do dance to be seen and not in praise. Let the wheat and tares grow(dance) together. The Lord will seperate. Let everything that has breath, saved or unsaved breath praise the Lord. I have seen ppl dance without the music.

  • Your the type of person that falls asleep during the sermon but wakes up when you hear the "organ and drums". If we live our lives according to scripture, this is "true praise". Gyrating in Church is not praise, unless a false god is the object of your worship. What happen to living the "Word of God" out loud in our lives. If you want to dance go to the club, there are plenty of demons there. Then again you still have so called Saints still visiting them on Saturday nights anyway. UC!

  • Wow, you are so judgemental for someone who does not know or have seen me. When the word of God goes forh in a mighty way, unless i worked all night, how can I fall asleep . When I preach, I don't even want the organ and drums in my way since you know me so much so stop judging

  • I am not judging you. Did you know why early holiness Churches band instruments? It was because some of the Church members were still going to the "Juke Joints" (early name for the Clubs) and the same dancing we call "Shouting" today was the same dancing going on in the "Juke Joints". Know your history. Outside of David in the Bible where else is dancing in the "Spirit" mentioned in the Word? God's word judges us. Just show me in the Word where dancing is even part of the Church? UC!

  • @NtheNow Check out Psalms 150 the word sais Praise GOD with the trimbel and dance now so far as wat u talkin IDK nuthin about it I will have to trust GOD

  • @Jerome9055 Funny how you keep referring to Psalms but you can't find a New Testatment Scripture that talks about praising God to musical instruments. I'm not against praising God, but the problem becomes what is the true definition for Praises: Websters: An expression of approval and commendation, Offering "Words" of homage as an act of worship. No where in the definition for praise did it say dancing and sliding across the floor. Praise is a lifestyle, not a dance.

  • @NtheNow OK MLET ME HELP YOU OUT WEBSTER IS MADE BY A MAN AND MAN IS A BOLD FACE LIE IT EITHER YOU GONA BEILIEVE THE WORD OR YOU NOT LET EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH PRAISE GOD THE GOD DOES NOT CHANGE DANCING WAS A FORM OF PRAISE IN THE OLD TESTAMENT IT IS NOW IT DOES NOT CHANGE

  • Was this Pimps Anonymous? You see all those brotha's in PIMP Suits. They must have ice up under the carpet because these brotha's was sliding side to side like they were part of the half-time show for the Detroit Red Wings, LOL! I don't see God in this! The word Shout in the Bible was with your mouth not with your feet. To Praise Him in a dance only when there is music is selective praise!

  • Have you not read that David danced before the Lord with al of his might until his clothes came off. His wife was punished for making fun of him.

  • If ppl Praise the Lord in a dance only when the organ, drums, and bass is playing then that is not true praise. How come you don't see anyone video's on Youtube with ppl dancing like this when the Word is going forth? By the way, David praised God for the return of the "Ark of the Covenant", which the Word of God was inside (10 Commandments) not because he was listening to someone blowing a horn or playing a harp. Maybe if Christians would study scriptures more, the Word would make them dance.

  • If I a bringing forth the word I wouldn't want anyone to dance like that. I want them to listen to the word. Music and dancing go together. Check out my videos on my channel of dancing in the church. We might think it is wrong but that is how they praise God in their culture. The Nigerian shake their behind in church and it might not mean the same there as does here. Before there was praise dancing, this was how your basic Pentecostal Church danced. In the days, there was more power in church.

  • You pointed out something very important that I think the Charamatic Churches over-look. The history of dancing to music goes way back to pagan rituals in which they would dance and chant to conjure up their demon gods. I am not saying that God could not touch someone by the Holy Spirit and cause them to dance where God get's the glory. But most of so called shouters in Churches today are only driven by there flesh. Isn't it ironic that most so-called dancers stop when the music stops?

  • Second comment and I think I am done with this subject. If a person is lead by the Holy Spirit to dance why is it that Ushers have to be summons to avoid people from hurting themselves and others when people are so called "praising" the Lord? Why do you see men having to be held by 2+ men to keep them from knocking kids and other people over. Why are homosexuals prancing around holding hankerchiefs dancing like women. Can you show me in the New Testament where Jesus or His Apostles danced?

  • shouter churches huh. no we just give GOD everything that we got and we dont sit on a butts and judge like you do.

  • Your the type of person that thinks praise is only physical. Praise is a lifestyle of obedience to God's commandments. Your life if praise not dancing to music and sliding across floors like pagans do. You can't show me anywhere in the teachings of Christ or His Disciples were dancing was a sign of praise or salvation. You got people sliding across the floors of Churches on their way to a fiery place of torment. The problem with the visible Church is it is to fleshy and worldly. UC!
