I just got back from this movie and it was so good! 5 stars from me. Great acting, directing, story, editing. Everything was great. The car chase was awesome too.

I thought Neeson was a badass vigilante in this movie until he shot the wife, and then threatened to kill her.

That made me hate his character.

I mean, the entire fucking movie is about him rescuing his daughter from these evil dudes, and then suddenly he shoots an innocent woman.

I get WHY he did it, but it was completely unnecessary.

It pretty much turned him into a villain.

@LazyCritic08 I hated this movie because some of the things he did were wrong. This movie gave a depressing tone because not only was there far too much unnecessary death and injury, but he didn't even get in trouble for any of it and totally got away with it. And I hated the way the damn ex-wife was this damn golddigger marrying a RICH guy, because men shouldn't have to be freakin' rich to marry women or engage in sexual activity with them that's strictly casual.
