when i burned my arm i actually had to pop the fluid filled blisters myself because it felt like there was pressure, i also peeled away all the skin that had died and it didnt hurt but for a few days my arm felt like it was on fire, i found out i did the right thing by popping the blisters and getting rid of the skin of the blisters and taking off the dead skin. but burns hurt like hell,
I'm really resistant to opiates, it runs in the family. When I was admitted my sister (a MD) made the ER admitting Doc give me 600cc's before I felt anything.
I was really grateful she was there, the ER Doc thought I was a drug abuser and resisted giving me more.
I burned my left arm/hand twice on scalding boiling water, the first time was around 11:30pm i take a shitload of medication due to health issues so i was drowsy and i ended up dumping a cup of boiling water on my left hand/arm and i ended up with second degree burns, the second time was the same way as the first just earlier in the day. luckily i didnt need debriment, or skin grafts but i know the pain you felt with the burn injury
Just getting home from hospital, from burns to my chest from a boiling pot.. so much pain. Less pain after skin grafts
