  • why dont you buy pro show gold?

  • The DeLeo brothers are magicians on guitars

  • STP will always rock. They played old hits in concert. It was great.

  • i fucking love you scott!! marry me :p

  • Weiland's vocals are the soundtrack to my 27 year life....

  • nfs shift 2 unleashed the best in time lololololololol

  • I LOVE YOU STP!!!!!

  • Does this mean grunge is still alive? :D

  • this song is in need for speed shift 2 but with one remix!!!

  • when purple was released people were saying its not as good as core

when tiny music was released people were saying its not as good as purple

when no. 4 was released people were saying it wasnt as good as tiny music

    and soooo on......

  • @lucass098ace1 With the exception of Core being better than Purple, I agree with all those assertions.

  • wow, This is pretty good... when did they put release this album.

  • @lulu97764 last May

  • music wouldnt be the same without STP!!

  • deffinatly one of the best if not the best 90's bands that are still around today besides pearl jam

  • I hate that Velvet Revolver broke up but I love that STP is back together. This new album of theirs is pretty good to.

  • ughhh I miss the 90's, thank goodness STP is still around. It makes me look back though and wish Shannon Hoon wouldn't have died...fuck it! Rock on STP!

  • Think about the 90's...how few of those really awesome bands are still around? Tool, Primus, and STP...is that all?

  • @Poonard Red Hot Chili Peppers!!!!, Pearl Jam, hopefully now Soundgarden, Foo FIghters, A Perfect Circle, Alice In Chains (Although without Layne they put on a fuckin Jammin show, Jerry still doin' his thing), Nine Inch Nails, Deftones, Incubus, 311, Butthole Surfers, Jane's Addiction (Did their best music in the 90's) etc. etc. However I am VERY thankful Scott is healthy and still rockin with his old friends!! STP FOR LIFE!!!

  • @TonyRomoAKARayFinkle Forgot Nirvana :P

  • @lightdragon53562 O yeh that's right Kurt Cobain is still alive and Dave Grohl still drums for Nirvana and Krist still playing bass....I did forget to mention Smashing Pumpkins though and Silverchair, 'Frogstomp' was the shit!! Lightdragon how have the newer Nirvana albums been? I stopped listening after 'In Utero', I don't know why?? I should probably get back into them....

  • @TonyRomoAKARayFinkle yes i know Kurt is dead im just saying Nirvana was part of the grunge scene you didnt have to go on a rant.

  • @lightdragon53562 I was just funkin with you man but somebody said... What bands are LEFT from the 90's?? And you said I forgot Nirvana.... So that puzzled me so I let you know, I was bein sarcastic.. If you're down with STP Im down with you, alls good man just messin with ya.... Peace

  • @TonyRomoAKARayFinkle ah haha ok i didnt see that part about what bands are left of the 90's lol OH MY GOD! GUESS WHAT?!?! im gonna subscribe to you :P

  • This song is amazing live! Long live STP!!!

  • I can't believe the shitty radio play this fantastic record has gotten. Just a bit for BTL - probably the weakest track on the disc. And it's not like it's experimental or non-commercial, either. The album has hooks galore.

  • THE BEST SONG OF ALBUM¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ STP THE BEST OF GALAXY¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeaaaaaaaaattttttt Aaallllllbbbuuummmmmmm!@!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Im stoked these guys are still around as well. So tired of the Sh*t they call music today.

  • I've listened to 3 tracks off of this album so far, and I Must say I'm impressed. I'm really digging this stuff. STP did a really good job with this. Its not really progressive in the sense that this is something of a new for stp, but it is def a very well crafted album, from what i've listened to so far.

  • you fags shuld be happy scott didnt end up like kurt ot layne

  • @DrCheetopuff019

    Yeah, no shit.

Talk about surprising. He became unrecognizable in the 2000's thanks to heroin. He pulled through by sheer luck, to be honest.

  • @TheLeoOfCostaRica Weiland didn't pull through his addiction by "sheer luck". He did it by being a badass.

  • @DrCheetopuff019 youra fag

  • @DrCheetopuff019 Well there one thing the three of them have in commen they were all great singers

  • Great, they sound just like themselves - the magic is still there

  • My favorite Shift 2 song. :D

  • Shift 2 Unleashed Soundtrack

  • @Nordstadt90 I have already pre-order the game!

  • take a loads off

  • That's an odd band name...

  • @OhEmGeeDoubleYouTeEf So is alice in chains and pearl jam but who gives a fuck, if it sounds good it can have the weirdest name ever

  • reminds me of "tiny music" more then it does "purple".

  • thanks god scott is back on DTP. i do like VR too, but he is better without them

  • STP and AIC were the two best ROCK bands to come out in the 90's. Nirvana was and is way overrated. Nirvana opened the gates for a wave of shit music being passed off as rock n roll almost 20 years later. And Pearl Jam were not sell outs. They were always and still are anti industry. They have always done things their way. How many videos did Nirvana put out? Oh yeah, more than pearl jam and AIC.

  • Stone Temple Pilots - Still Awesome

Soundgarden - The Best( In my Opinion)

    Alice in Chains - Tolerable

    Nirvana - Disbanded

    Pearl Jam - Sellouts

See where I'm going, the Big wigs of Grunge (other than Soundgarden and STP and Nirvana), Are half as good as they used to be, This William Duvall guy for Alice in Chains is Ok, Pearl Jam Sold out. All we got are Post-Grunge. Difference is its Grunge with a Mainstream Rock sound.

  • @Sithlord703

Alice in Chains tolerable? Pearl Jam sellouts? Must have been some POWERFULL crack you went ahead and smoked this morning. Fuckin starwars nerd.

  • @zwynia Yeah did you listen to Just breathe? Meaningful yes, but not good, or that other hit the Fixer, That is without a doubt one of the most annoying songs I ever heard in my life, and I said they're Tolerable, I didn't say they're good, there's a difference. Other than that Soundgarden and STP Are still the best grunge bands that are still around.

  • @Sithlord703 how did pearl jam sellout?

  • @Sithlord703 LOL, you are not really going anywhere with that list. Nirvana did set a bar for alternative, even if you don't agree with it. You can't possibly tell me that they sucked. Yea, Nirvana could be considered Emo as well, but lets not forget how great the guy actually was. it definitely was a talented band for bringing out music that is still greatly remembered today and will be 20 years from now.

  • @Sithlord703 Also, people that listened to Soundgarden and STP also listened to AiC. Alice in Chains was just as good and popular as SG and STP, their music set a atmospheric basis and will still be remembered. The new singer while obviously a different color, he sings just as good. Also, Jerry from Alice in Chains was the writer of the songs. Layne Staley made a couple of songs but most were written by Jerry. Let's not forget who wrote most of the lyrics and made those songs great, Jerry.

  • @Gypscrew I love AIC almost as much as STP but I really have to disagree that AIC's new lead singer is as good as Layne. Duvall is no where near in the same league as Layne. While Jerry Cantrell did write most of the songs Layne gave the songs a fagile humanity. His voice can never be equalled. I almost cried seeing Duvall sing Nutshell it was so unbelievably bad :(

  • @whateveryouwant79 I'll admit that Duvall definitely can't pull of singing some (or rather quite a few) of Alice in Chains older songs, but his performances aren't too bad. He's actually gotten better at singing some of the older songs since a few years ago when the band reformed.

  • @Gypscrew layne staley wrote most of the music/lyrics for the band 'mad season' and PERSONALLY the one album Mad Season recorded rips the shit out of any AiC album. you should check it out if you haven't already. if Layne was allowed more creativity in the music for AiC, i think they'd be a better band. and once a bands lead singer/main song writer dies they should give up or change their name. replacing Layne in AiC, is like replacing Kurt in nirvana. shouldn't even be considered.

  • @Jim5H yea yea yea. okay. you lack knowledge of anything for bands. doesn't matter what you listened to or what you believe. Sorry to burst your pride bubble for layne, but if jerry wasn't in that band it wouldn't even be close. it's all this originality crap of who was it first and when blah blah blah. understandable for certain bands, others can definitely get away with it.

  • @Gypscrew everyone is entitled to an opinion and if someone likes a band better than another doesn't mean they have "no knowledge" infact i think it would mean the opposite because they researched the bands. and i didn't say AiC would be better if jerry wasn't in the band did i? i know jerry is fucking good, but im just saying i heard an album layne wrote most the music for and if he and jerry worked TOGETHER they would write more killer songs. sorry to get under your skin little man.

  • @Jim5H Layne was allowed plenty of creativity... But he decided he wanted to piss the majority of his music career away as a smacked out junkie.

  • @Sithlord703 Ahh, noticed you weren't talking bad about nirvana but point still stands for those that disagree with it.

  • why the fuck has it taken nearly 20 years for these brilliant mother fuckers to come to australia? okay smack is hard to get in oz but for fuck sake...

The best STP was in the 90's, this album is pretty cool, but it isn't core purple or tiny. i'm glad they're finally gracing our Australian shores with their presence but maybe now i'm too old and drugs are hard to come by...

i'll always love STP but i feel the days of glory are becoming a faded memory... PLEASE PROVE ME WRONG IN MARCH 2011

  • this song is fuckin awesome im really starting to like this album

  • Heard this on the radio with a bunch of friends..one of them said "Really? STP is one of those bands that just needs to give up. They're so old." I went up one side of him and down the other. Why stop doing what you love? Especially if people listen to it and like it.

  • When this album was first released I doubted it would live up to Core and Purple but it almost does!

  • just fucking epic music comes from Stone Temple Pilots.

    they are da bomb

  • Such music geniouses. Their music paints pretty cool pictures in your head

  • @liammchart55 if i could sell the pics id be rich.

  • @PennybagDarrell yea man theyd sell for great prices :D

  • Thank fuck these guys are still here :D

and this song takes me back to purple for some reason :S :L

  • @JoshBoyy1 : Because the bass line it's so "Interstate love song"! That's why it takes you back to Purple ...

Robert de Leo it's a fuckin' bass god!

  • @Qenkobot so so fuckin true :D

  • @JoshBoyy1 takes me back to Plush if you ask me

  • @JoshBoyy1 same

  • The music video for this song should have the band skydiving during the chorus. It would go perfectly with it. :)

  • Best song of the album by far, and is a good album.

  • didn't care for between the lines, this is a killer song, love stp

  • i thought this song was old when i just heard it.....sound like the 90s

  • this song's chorus sounds like one of their old songs... from the 90s or whenever. Still kicks ass, just saying it's retro in that way.

anyone know what i'm talking about?

  • @IncanPete Yup. Between The Lines was nothing like their old sound. This is more like their old sound, but before this they had that raw sound that made them so great.

  • @IncanPete

Yeap we do know what you mean. A little like "Wiked Garden" and some Death and Bloathed... Ahhh this is so good. I want my son to grow up in a world full of STP songs, it kinda makes you feel as if time has stoped for a while and life is at its best.

  • @IncanPete

Yeap we do know what you mean. A little like "Wiked Garden" and some Dead and Bloathed... Ahhh this is so good. I want my son to grow up in a world full of STP songs, it kinda makes you feel as if time has stoped for a while and life is at its best.

  • What does "Shattered all those lies I bought you from the record store" mean exactly???

  • Best song on the album, we love you STP!

  • this album is incredible good I would rank it up there with Core and Purple for sure

  • "Shattered all those lies I bought you from the record store"

Best line of the year in a song, for sure. Brilliant.

  • I gotta say, I am SO sick of people saying things like STP hasn't been good since Core and Purple. People please, GET OVER IT. I love Core and Purple! Love them! But STP is so much more than just those two albums. Their music has matured. NO band whose music stays the same lasts very long or has much historical impact. If The Beatles wrote Love Me Do over and over again, then there would have been no Sgt. Pepper or Abbey Road. Same goes with STP. I think people just don't "get it".

  • 1 of my favorite songs on the album!!!!Love you Scott!!!! :)

  • @39user274502 Too bad no one ever sees that Rush has been doing that for like 35 years now.

  • @39user274502 i agree but i believe nothing compares to zeppelin. zeppelin sounded different from song to song, not just album to album. take physical graffiti - every song has such a unique style, every band should listen to take album before writing a new album, it would a lesson in how not to grow stale

  • THANK GOD STP IS STILL AROUND

  • AMEN BRO!!!!

  • @koolaidman3do no...thank allah

  • @HellSpawnJellodude no... thank Stone Temple Pilots : )

  • @koolaidman3do yup

  • @koolaidman3do Yeah I know

  • I love it

  • one word....AWSOME!

  • i listen to this song and i get happy and start dancin like my to grandson Marcus and Devon.

  • Excellent Quality!!

  • I heard this song on the radio an i fukin loved an i didnt kno it wuz dem i am a fan of theirs too the next day a went out an bought their album. there such a great band

  • this sound reminds me of all STP, fucking awesome to hear a new single by them.

  • @Cicone17 ment old STP not all

  • this doesn't blow me away as much as core did. The entire album made me feel like i listening to a lost Beatles album.

  • Very,very good!

  • really good

  • Damn this is good...

  • for whatever reason, this reminds me of Alanis' "You Learn."

  • Sounds like Army of Anyone quite a bit. Wonder if it was originally wrote for them.

  • @bonsaiisuperstar SOUNDS LIKE STP AND NOT ARMY OF ANYONE..DEAN AND ROBERT WERE IN THAT BAND, THAT'S WHY IT SOUNDS FAMILIAR..that lead vocalist they got for army was terrible and can't sing, has no feel or soul like weiland does..!

  • the chorus = musical orgasm!!

  • anyboody know when they will play this gem live?

  • That chorus is incredible

  • PURE AWESOMENESS

  • I love Hard Rock and Heavy Metal to fucking death fuck that rap shit I was born on March 17th 1990 and I began listening to Hard Rock and Heavy Metal at the age of three thanks to my mom and dad who got me into Hard Rock and Heavy Metal at an early age!!!

  • @NASCAR90 You're only 17 days younger than me!! :)

  • @ke228 Hard Rock and Heavy Metal is my life

  • @NASCAR90 Nascar and rock is amazing! Rap and hip hop blowwwwwws

  • @AMPLIGHTNING nascar sucks

  • Comment removed

  • @AMPLIGHTNING 50 million rednecks

  • Comment removed

  • @AMPLIGHTNING nascar isn't a sport. its just lazy ass fatasses who drive about 300 circles wasting gas and shit

  • @BobFard watever u say man! Your just one of the people that never have been to a race and dont know how addicting it can be!

  • Man this is good! I mean great! These guy's never cease to amaze me. A fan since day one!

  • I've been spinning this fucking CD NO STOP for 3 days now! I can't get enough. Not a bad tune on the album!

  • STP is one of the best bands I've ever heard. And I like this song very much. That being said, I believe this album is less-than-mediocre.

  • I am so confused and shocked that this song isn't owning rock radio right now. This tune is pure Rock N Roll and a testament to what music should be at this time. It is a far superoir than any Godsmack, Nickelback or Disturbed tune on the airwaves.

I can only hope that this song catches on and shows young teens what real rock is. Great song! Great album!

  • @jayce27 i agree jacye, evn tho i be 16, i was exposed to STP and other bands from between 60's-90's and i wish the other people around me could appreciate this kinda music for what it is and put down that Justin fuckin; Beiber, Jonas bros, and Kesha...ROCK MUST LIVE ON!!

  • @NnysVelvetRevolver I was raised on STP and Led Zeppelin

  • @Supermario678 nice man i love Zeppelin :P

    Whole Lotta Love XP

  • @jayce27 HOW DARE YOU MENTION NICKELBACK!!

  • @jayce27 but but I like all those bands (except Nickelback)

  • Has anyone heard some of there songs frm the Mighty Joe Young era? THATS wen they were best look up "Only Dying (rare)" on youtube, i swear, its the best song EVER written by anyone! no joke!!

  • @NnysVelvetRevolver hell yeah man, MJY was awesome, i have the entire record. I wish they would put Only Dying on a new record, or maybe Scary Area, or some of the funky tunes like Love Machine or Dirty Dog

  • @NnysVelvetRevolver no doubt they need to release it on their next album as a single

  • Son of a bitch is this the greatest band or what....saw these guys at the DC 101 Chili cook off through the rain. I'm 50 and i've seen LOTS of bands live. This was one of the best concerts I EVER saw. STP ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEW LP IS AMAZING!!!!

  • Welcome back stone temple pilots

if you don't like this new album as well as new stone temple pilots

    you can go fuck off

no one wants to sound the same forever so they mature. and change their style of music. =P

  • @iwannagosurfing139 I don't think they've changed at all! Sounds like they never spent anytime apart.

  • what a great song

  • FUCKING LOVE this song. Thank god STP is back in action!!!

  • I grew up with STP too but Im not in love with the cd. I like a few of the songs but a few kind of suck. Im ready for soundgardens new one.

  • I'm not surprised that in an era where Justin Bieber and Ke$ha dominate the airwaves, that the new STP album didn't fare well. Just goes to show you how tone deaf people are nowadayas. If you like Rock then this is theBest cd of the year by far.

  • @drnrg31 Eh I don't know this is very good but Them Crooked Vultures had some exellent stuff too. New Fang is a great song. :)

  • @lambchop4545 They have some pretty good songs, I just wish Dave did more of the singing. I prefer Foo Fighters, but that's me. So far the 90s comebacks have been great. Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam and now STP. Soundgarden should fare just as good.

  • @drnrg31 True he was a beast one the drums though. :D

  • @lambchop4545 I think Dave should really play drums and vocals at the same time. Phil Collins, Dennis De Young(Styx), Don Henly. I just hope we havn't heard the last of Foo Fighters. That's All.

  • @drnrg31 I love STP but they are poorly marketed these days. Not only that, but there stuff isn't revolutionary the way it used to be. They were truly amazing when they birst onto the scene and seemed like a breath of fresh air.

There style has changed too much away from the mainstream.

  • @poolboyinla I actually think it's a good thing they don't sound mainstream, cuz it all sounds alike nowadays. This cd is STP matured and sounds very good IMOP. I'm not saying it's Core. That is one of my top 10 albumes of all time, but its great to see they don't try to be another sell out band. There are clearly heavy Beatles, Zepplen and Bowie vibes on this album. Hey,You should also check out Tom Petty's new Mojo album. Also nothing to do with mainstream.

  • I know you guys have read a lot of comment like this but, this sounds a lot like their ld stuff which is a fantastic thing. :)

  • Great hook on this tune: "ya, it's alright, as we mosey on into nite" at least i think thats how it goes. I have previewed most of the tunes here on youtube. I may buy this album. It may be my first itunes purchase and down load.

  • Very Zeppelin! Absolutely Great.

  • i got this album in a small store for seven bucks

i was in for a surprise i had no idea

  • Their best new song..Easily

  • I don't care for most of the new stuff but this tune is pretty good.

  • but stone temple pilots have had goo repeat songs but they've copied pearl jam a couple times, this song is good though, reminds me of The Beatles thats why

  • @BrainiacTx they only copied that shitty band Pearl Jam for their album core... And still, STP is a WAY better band than them.

And yeah... Tiny Music... was a huge Beatles wanna be, but their best album.

  • they got it from The Beatles, pearl jam did something like this also

  • solid

  • This song is the shit

  • I thought they had completely changed. Holy shit was I wrong.

  • sad how clearly scott's voice has been edited to the max on every song on this album.

  • fuck yea!!!

  • the opening chords kinda vaugely sound like Interstate love song primo album though :D

  • been listening to them since i heard plush on mtv back in 1993 (i was 11 years old at the time) and i love their new album, they can do no wrong IMO

  • Best song on the album by far. Another gem by Dean.

  • S T MOTHAFUKIN P!!!
