WOW, mine shuts down in about 10 to 15 sec. You need to run a Reg cleaner.
Glary Registry Repair it's free and works wonders.

i have AAO Win XP version and just added 1Gb RAM to it. Run Windows 7 B7057 and shutdown smoothly

The HDD version is a different beast entirely. The SSD in the AAO is ridiculously slow so read/write operations like shutting down take a long time.
ah~ i get it
but does the SSD are SATA?
if does, you can change it to normal HDD rite?
heh, just my opinion
The SSD in the AAO uses a ZIF connector and is only a 1.8" drive so pretty much you have to use a 1.8" ZIF HDD if you want to go that route, but they're expensive and I don't really feel like swapping them out.
errrr the phenom x4 9950 is 2.6 ghz not 3.0 ghx
If you overclocked it write it down
if it is the new phenom II writ ut down

Ammm, mi aspire one, 8 GB SSD, SDHC 8 GB class 4, 1.5 GB RAM.
Shut down in 2:20- 2:50 minutes

I have found that sometimes, the Aspire ONE shuts down like nothing; other times it takes this long.
It is very strange occurrence; the first time this happened, I thought something was wrong!

Can of coke XD
Hahahah, did you crack open a beer whilst waiting? Still it does only have 512mb of ram, the bootup time was more impressive.
