  • Great song.

  • Its fantastic ! I love it ! such a great vibe!

  • Funny thing is that this was about 5 years post mullet heyday. Not that it was ever cool but it was already over.

  • "For some strange reason the Letterman show took place in Chicago. And even stranger, Lou Reed was on. But the strangest thing of all was Lou Reed's mullet."

    LoL -- all true

  • Love it

  • And then the tongue after he problably was not allowed to sing "you can't depend on God''....

  • I even emember Lou commenting on the mullet in a "What was I thinking?" fashion

  • oh god that mullet...it burns my eyes.

  • Yes! Thank you for posting this. Magical

  • Yeah that's Buddy Guy and James Cotton - cool!!

  • It's Letterman's band with some supplemental folks:

    WIll Lee -bass

Anton Figg - drums, most likely

Looks like Buddy Guy on gtr, and James Cotton on harmonica.

Don't recognize any of the horn guys besides Sanborn

  • ahhhhh MULLET?!?

  • other than David Sanborn can anyone please tell me who are the other musicians on the stage....this is a special letterman show being in chicago so are they locals from the windy city or are they Lou's touring band for this album or combination?...just a killer video so thank you for the posting.

  • @BuckeyeInNC Mike Rathke is the lead guitarist with the black guitar and in Reed's touring band.
