I have this model (but black with custom tortoiseshell PRS pickguard) and have to say the wide range of tones are typical to this demo. As for the other comment about build quality - I nailed mine for just £265 new delivered (old stock) - with luxury PRS Gigba AND Inside was (in error) a new PRS trem arm and set of springs - I sold those on ebay for £30 !So was really only £235 Thanks PRS!! Build quality is high by the way!

i have two prs gems, both very expensive. and this is makin me want an SE soapbar. its sounds beautiful! well every prs does IMHO but theres somethin about this SE that is fantastic

The pickups on the soapar SE are not the same as the Jazzmaster's which are just single coils that are wrapped really wide.. Odd thing is that they do sound alike sometimes. I have both guitars and both sound very nice

I have it in Wine Red, just got a new SE singlecut (korean also) I chose vintage natural for the color but I really love the P90 pickups in my soapbar II.

I have the same in Black (but added PRS custom guard in tortoiseshell and amber knobs). This is one monster of a guitar, so many tones and styles and is one guitar that needs no fancy amp or pedals to shine.

...that said, spoil it linked with some classic tube amps and it is exceptional...
