  • These wonderful men lived in those gentler times that I remember so well. If the world lived in the same close harmony that they shared, we'd all live in peace.

  • One of my favorites. I wish "am I too late" was on the tube though. I just might ave to upload it

  • :'( :)

  • HI RICH, SIMPLY A TERRIFIC POST HERE! THEY WERE GREAT! THANK YOU FOR THE BACKROUND INFORMATION WHICH YOU'VE PROVIDED HERE,I APPRECIATE IT! TOM D.

  • The Intro is like a old memory, readying you for a new one

  • Don't know why but they always use the same intro in almost every songs

  • @hai31 It was either because once you heard that intro you knew who it was or it was a guitar entry REALLY lightens the mood....

  • @hai31 its kind of like a signature thing, just how rappers now a days say their name before the song starts, this is how you could tell it was an Ink Spots song :p

  • Which of them sang this song?

  • 2 assholes that dislike this song...desperate cases...

  • Thanks to Youtube, the Ink Spots have walked into my heart to stay.

  • grandmas ftw lmao or mine anyways, made me dance to this...still does. shes fucking awsome

  • who in there right mind dislike this video

  • o i wish i was born in that era not this fake shit

  • please how can I get the .mp3 or .mp4 I need that song!!

  • whoa the beginning is different!

  • This music is pure. Pray we hear music like this again someday

  • I haven't cried in 15 years. This song just made me cry. I am so happy.

  • NO, NO WAY-ABSOLUTELY NOT- DOES IT GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS---

  • im 14 and love 1930/1940s music like this!

  • @iammakaxyz u and me both :)

  • @pokerfacelovesme Your not the only one. I'm actually starting to like this kind of music.

  • круто)))) обожаю эту группу !!

  • @foxxx60

cool)))) adore this group!! Me too

  • Man I'm 27, and smoking a blunt alone; in my lonely room.

    These Cats do it.

    Thats it.

  • My god, I can't resist the meloncholy droning of Jimmy Holmes' voice. It just goes right through you.

  • I grew up listening to this because my dad had their records. He listened to them when he was growing up and still loves listening to them today.

  • it makes me cry.... I have no idea why, but my eyes water hearing his voice.

  • I WISH I GREW UP IN THIS ERA

  • Why? When in this era you can download it, and listen to it on an ipod while walking to a car that is far safer then what they had back then. ~wink~

  • I'm 16 and own a 1940 oldsmobile. Yeah no seatbelts or airbags, but cars of that era were made of solid steel, not to mention there's like 8ft from the front bumper to the driver.

  • Different culture and laws is one of my reasons. Such as being able to buy a new, registered machine gun (only two crimes were ever committed with one), not have to worry about illegal immigration etc etc

  • ohhh yeaaahh. Me to. But please not in my home Country germany. The Era there was more than Terrible. But the Music.... Lovely sweet Music.

  • No you dont cuz then you'll be old or dead so shut up!

  • Hi,There will never ever again will a tremendous

group like the original Ink Spots. Thanks and God Bless.Eddie

  • Inhumanly good tenor. Where did the Ink Spots get these guys? Only the last note, which is rather sharp, detracts from this amazing performance.

  • What A Great Performance!!!! How could our country have deteriorated to such a level of Rap from this beautiful melodic music????!!!!!!!!!

  • One word.

    Drugs.

  • Agreed tenfold. The Ink Spots took my heart since the day I heard them.

  • agreed 100%. Nothing lasts in this world, sadly.

  • @thinkingnut But we can keep this song going for as long as we can :)

  • @dholm5058 Amen to that.

  • @dholm5058 music industry sucks :)

  • @dholm5058

Either my wife or I could have written your comment. You hit the nail right on the head

  • charlie was much better after he left in MO

  • If only they made music like this now. If only there were more people who had this level of true talent. Great song, Thanks for publishing it, its difficult to get hold of.

  • I'm not crying, I just have something in me eye...

  • @Shnap1337 I know the feeling

  • @Shnap1337 Your're not alone

  • The words are haunting, beautiful and true...the song's a classic by a classic group. True talent.

  • im almost in tears here....
