@ClashmoreMike The goalie is supposed to make the last slide, when a defender is beat. At worst, he ought to take the shooter down or atleat get in a good bodycheck, even if the shooter scores. On several of these in-close goals, it is better for the goalie to come out stick-on-stick and smash the ball carrier.
