  • I used to watch this when I was a child but looking back I understand the intro more as an adult, loved David Jason voicing Count Duckula....curious thing, as a child I had a LOT of nightmares about Vampires (BEFORE Count Duckula) and I was been seen regularly by a Child Psychiatrist who was called Dr Cotes (not that his name as anything to do with this hahaha),,,,hmmmmm

  • The narrator sounds a lot more menacing than I recall. Also, for the longest time I thought Nanny was saying "oil gadget" instead of "I'll get it", because I'm American.

  • david jason :D

  • Why in the blue hell is the first season $54.00 on DVD on amazon?!?

  • Barry Clayton, the guy that narrates the intro to this cartoon, is the same guy that recites the Bible passage in the beginning of Iron Maiden's "The Number of the Beast." He just died this week.

  • Nostalgia overload!!!!

  • Don't ever use ketchup instead of blood during vampire rituals

  • I always remember there was an ep of Duckula called 'No Sacks Please, we're Transylvanian'. As a naive kid, and aware of the fact there was a film called 'No Sex Please, we're British', I imagined there must be some rude edition of Duckula. Sadly, for my silly childhood libido, it wasn't vaguely rude. Nor is the film!

  • OMG I used to watch this literally all the time when I was about 4, I loved it! :D
