i have this phone... and amongst the terrible software layout the text messaging is the worst i've ever encountered. they have actually put more effort to make it unusable. i got as far as trying to type my name which is niall, and the thing predicted nick and wouldnt let me manually type my name. you cant turn the dictionary off! worthless

@yascumbag i actually wouldn't hate this if it did allow me to type my own text messages!

but the stupid creators thought that customers shouldn't have the option to manually input text without dictionary.

it might have something to do with china's censure laws. such as not being allowed to talk about the government or politics or any words affiliated. a built in word screening system for text messages! who knows but this ruined this novelty phone for me!

this is a crappy device, it is not worth your money. as pointed by reppinenz, the device is already malfunctioning out of the box. you're just asking for trouble having one of these.............. stick with the known brands.........

its a really good phone. it's sony how much more known can you get. because it has two folders when you go to load mp3 files in in they load it in the wrong one you have to make sure to load the right folder thats why it works when you put it in the other sim card slot its for the other memory card

Is this phone 2mp or 5mp because people on ebay say its 5mp?

Unfortunately many Chinese brands have completely bullshit specs which sellers then parrot (or sometimes the sellers make them up hemselves). Also the specs can vary between phones so it's possible a 5 MP version exists (although I doubt it). According to the info it's tested at 2MP which means they took a photo and the maximum size was 2MP which is the minimum you should ask for instead of generic specs. Even that ain't great since it's easy to interpolate and the CCD/CMOS may really be capable

Also bear in mind CMOS/CCD capability is only part of the picture. Optics, sensors quality (CCDs general provide better quality then CMOS for example) make a big difference for example.

i am having problem this cellphone ...

i have just put mp3 file on the memory card in Music folder. but in cellphone its not listing all the all the mp3 file. i have also inserted the memory card into other cellphone, its working fine there ..

there are total of like 68 files but its only listing 9 mp3 files..

hellow, i have one of this phones...i had the same problem at first since i realised that the name of the song is too long. so, you can rename the song and make a sharter name...this might be the problem...

on the back of this phone there's a sticker which says "8.0 m digital camera". well, i belive that its not more than 2 mega pixels and the phone is really slow to write a message.

however, i still like it
