As a small aircraft pilot I'd hate to hit something like that. It's probably bring the plane down. You might think it would be easy to see and avoid, but it's not as it would be moving in 3 dimensions, probably coming from below. Other aircraft would be using horizontal and vertical separation rules.
@bagzie If they did I haven't found out yet. I know of one or two UFO report sites where I can check and I can look in local news...it's hard to say if someone is going to get fooled badly enough to call the news but it would be funny if someone did.

@saulkj98 I don't know if a 5ft saucer would be big enough to fly. I do have instructions for a smaller UFO on the e-book on our web site.
